An Owl, a Cat, and a House (loose 1x1 between Neko-chan and Sikota Urinakano)

Posted

An owl, and a cat. Not really though, just two adolescent lovers spending time together in a nice beach house and fooling around, getting on each other's nerves and enjoying every second of it. Yes, this RP was made for my little kitten and myself, but if you want (and is she's okay with it) post a sign-up inside some spoiler tags later in the RP and come along and knock on the door. Things are bound to get boring eventually if it's just the two of us. But then there's that one door...

(Let's get this started shall we?)

As the sun peeked through the window, I was immediately awake. I couldn't remember what led up to it, or how it worked, or how I even got here. But my little kitten was somewhere in this building and I couldn't wait to see her. I sat up and contemplated my options. I could get ready for the day and wait for her downstairs, or I could go to her room and wish her a good morning from there. The latter was very tempting. However, she was probably fast asleep. I sighed, laying back down, unsure of what to do. Maybe if I stayed in bed long enough, she'd come for me.

When that dreaded sunlight hit my eyes, I just turned over and buried my face in my pillows. I was awake, but I just didn't want to get out of bed. I'm always like this in the morning. One thing also in the morning is the fact that I am absolutely freezing. Even though I have four blankets on my bed and four pillows....it still is not enough. I basically forced my eyes open, looking at my clock. Seven something. It is way too early. I simply lay there, not moving whatsoever.

(Let's TRY and have our post semi-long, no?)

(We'll see how long they can last)

I jumped back into a sitting position. I had my decision, I swung my legs over to the edge of my bed and stood. I stumbled a bit, dizzy from standing a bit too fast. I opened up my dresser and picked some clothes for the day. I exited my dim bedroom and entered into the equally dim hallway, making my way toward the bathroom. I set my clothes in a neat pile near sink in the order I'd need to put them out when I finished washing up. I undressed and stepped into the shower. Just a few degrees shy of tepid. Satisfactory. Didn't want to suck away all the hot water from Neko-chan. Hopefully the running water didn't disturb her. Once finished, I stepped out, and dried myself. Once my body was free of any droplets, I began to get dressed, I paused before pulling on my shirt, taking a look at myself in the mirror. I was always slightly shocked at how much the muscles in my arms and stomach had developed from the rigorous training my running coaches and captains put me through. Sensei too. She could be brutal. I got my shirt on and exited the bathroom, pajamas clumped under my arm.

(THE CHALLENGE IS ON)

I hesitated, but slowly sat up. My hair was a terrible mess as usual so I quickly got out of bed and went into the bathroom that is in my room. I wet my hairbrush since that was the only way I was able to get it semi-nice looking, then I brushed the stupid long black hair. After I did that, I stared at myself for about three seconds, my neko ears twitched looking at how obviously tired I was. Letting out a terrible sigh, I grabbed my clothes and got dressed. I would take a shower tonight. Why should I do it now since Sikota just took one. Black tanktop, loose black shirt, and some white shorts because it was the middle of summer and my legs where shaved and I can look adorable if I want to. I brushed my hair again and FINALLY got it to look rather nice, I grabbed my RWBY jacket, slipped on some slightly above the knee-high black socks because I CAN, and stepped out of my room and zoomed straight down to the kitchen.

I was always hungry, and there was nothing I wanted to eat. WONDERFUL.

"Siiiikkkkoooooottttttaaaaa...." I called.

He better be ready for my complaining.

(If you say so)

"She beat me?" I asked myself as I clipped my pendant around the belt loops of my pants and got my glasses on my face. I stretched and made my way downstairs. Neisan had taught me the technique for climbing down the stairs. He said to practically fall, but use each step as some kind of word that I couldn't remember to keep yourself balanced. I don't even think half a second was spent on a single step whenever he did it. Me. Well I was a little slower. That kid was so full of random stuff. I wondered if he'd ever come and visit while Kurai-chan and I were here. I skipped the last few steps and leaped onto the ground, landing with a thud; I spun a couple of times to let my momentum eat itself up and stay light on my toes as I regained my balance from the minuscule fall. I entered the kitchen to see my little kitten wide awake and dressed for the day. "Nandesu, Kurai-chan?"

(YOU MADE THE FONT SIZE BIGGER. CCCHHHHEEEAAATTTEEERRR)

"We have no good food..." I complaint.

"So what am I supposed to eat...?" I asked, tilting my head.

I knew Sikota liked oatmeal...I hated oatmeal. There was no cereal I like. I don't like eggs or sausage. I hate toast. I don't like grits...unless they are butter. I loove plain strawberry waffles though.

"I want strawberry waffles or doughnuts or something..." I snapped.

(I didn't mean to. I'm no cheater)

"Doughnuts might be a bit hard." I told my little kitten. "However, I may be able to manage waffles." I looked through the cabinets. I eventually stumbled upon some pancake mix. That worked. After all, pancakes and waffles are practically the same thing. Just prepared differently. I pulled out the bag of powder and read the back. "Definitely manageable." I told myself. "Waffles it is!" I announced tossing the bag onto the table. "Strawbery's your preference, is it not?" I asked Kurai. "Go ahead and get some out of the fridge and I'll get things started." I got out a medium sized bowl and set it near the waffle mix. That had all the solid ingredients. Digging through the cabinet, I grabbed the necessary vanilla and sugar, along with some other spices for personal flare. "Get some milk too, please." I asked, retrieving the appropriately sized measuring spoons and cup.

"Fiiinnneee" I complaint, walking over to the fridge and pulling out the strawberries and bringing them to the counter beside Sikota, and then grabbing the milk, closing the refrigerator door, and then placing the milk beside the strawberries.

"Don't forget to wash your hands or I'll chop off your head." I said, staring at Sikota.

"I will after you do so." I stated shortly after.

There was a small second of silence.

"Hey Hey Sikota..." I began.

I hugged his tightly.

"Daisuki...thank you for fixing me food." I said looking up at him.

I could feel my face begin to turn red. I hugged Kurai back with one arm. "Daisuki mo." I kissed her forehead. I let her go and spun out of her grasp toward the sink. "Thanks for reminding me." I told her, rinsing my hands. "I'm pretty bad about that sometimes." Once my hands were nice and clean, I dried them and pulled out a knife from the nearby drawer and a small bowl from the cabinet above. I slid the box of strawberries in my direction. Opening them up, I the tops off of one strawberry after another, followed by cutting them each in half. Once the small bowl was full, I took a pinch of sugar and sprinkled it over the fruit. Hopefully it wouldn't make things too sweet. I slid the bowl toward Kurai. "Help yourself to those while I get started."

My face imminently turned a slight red, and I turned away from Sikota as he washed his hands, then after he was done with that, I washed mine. I watched Sikota cut the strawberries, rather worried because of the knife. When he slid the bow to me, my eyes lit up.

"Thank You Sikota~!" I exclaimed.

Quickly I grabbed one of the best looking strawberries before taking a small bite. My Neko ears twitched, and I finished that certian strawberry quickly.

"They are good..." I said with a smile, taking another.

I smiled. It felt good to satisfy my beloved angel in such simple ways. I poured a few cups of mix into the bowl and the proportionate amount of milk. A couple teaspoons of vanilla. Couple tablespoons of sugar. I sprinkled in cinnamon for some extra flavor. I grabbed a whisk and began whisking. Used to working different arm muscles, I grew tired rather quickly, but didn't let it show. Not completely sure of how to add the fruit, I cut up some more strawberries, rolled them around in my hands and splashed the juice from my red stained fingertips into the bowl. Some pieces were cut small enough to be added directly to the mix. I wished some more and left the bowl to wipe my hands and grand the waffle press, humming Simple and Clean to myself as I worked.

After I had finished the strawberries, I placed the bowl in the sink, turning to Sikota.

"You fail at music." I snapped, walking over to sit down at the table.

"What are we doing today? We will have to go to the store. I'm sure I have money somewhere..." I asked, wrapping myself up in my jacket.

There was some silence.

"I'm cold..." I muttered.

"It's not that I fail." I replied nonchalantly, ignoring everything else she said and pouring some liquid mix into the waffle press into the machine. "It's more that you're just better than me. I don't play flute or anything. Then again I am a pretty epic dancer." The press dinged. I opened it up and there were four freshly prepared strawberry waffles. I used a spatula to remove them from the hot press and placed them on a large plate. I took them apart and placed two on one plate, the others on another. I placed the first plate in front of Kurai. "These ought to warm you up." I grabbed some syrup and brought it with me and my waffles to the table. "You want anything to drink?" I asked as I poured myself some milk and brought the carton back to the fridge.

I shook my head. I hate drinking this in the morning.

"Thank you Sikota!" I exclaimed.

Once Sikota had sat down, I clapped my hands together and prayed silently before starting to eat.

"These are sooo good~! You should make these more often." I said with a smile.

I had finished the first one within three minuets, eating like a mouse like I usually do. The second one took me a bit longer to eat,but when I was done I placed my bowl in the sink, took off my jacket, sat on the couch and wrapped myself up in my blanket. I was always cold. Always.

(Why do I get the feeling that this is basically going to be us 5+ years from now?)

I smirked as I watched my little kitten curl up on the couch. She was so cute wrapped up in that blanket. I brought my dishes over to the sink as well. I grumbled a little bit on the inside, aware of the work that would have to be done eventually. "There's plenty of batter left." I said, putting some parchment wrap over the bowl and placing it in the near empty fridge. Hm. There would have to be some shopping done today. I walked over to Neko and sat next to her. "Wanna let me in on this?" I asked her. 'It'll warm you up more."

(Because awe act like this now.)

I have a very slow nod, turning to my Sikota and letting him under the warmth of the blanket as well.

"I'm still tired....but I'll be okay." I said with a small smile.

I'd have to work some around the house later which would be terribly boring, but with Vocaloid English-dubs blaring, it would be easier to get done.

"When are we going to the store?" I asked, facing Sikota.

I sighed curling up with my Kurai-chan. "I don't really know. We should probably go eventually." Neko was so... Warm. "I kinda wanna stay like this for a while though." I leaned up against her, smiling contently. I was tempted to initiate "the plan" but I was too tired myself. I could probably have fallen asleep right then and there, cuddled up with my beloved angel. I rubbed her back affectionately.

I literally lurched forwards some as soon as Sikota lay a hand on my back.

"Don't. Touch. My. Back." I snapped.

My back was the most sensitive, ticklish part of my body. Sometimes when I'm scared I get this odd feeling in my back and I don't like people touching it because it makes me feel weird.

"It's nice to stay like this, but don't touch my back at all." I said seriously, leaning back quickly.

  • Author

I grinned sheepishly. "Sorry, my sweet. Guess I forgot how ticklish you are. Especially there." When she leaned back, instead of rubbing her back placed a hand on top of her head and practically let her. It was weird, her hair was, well, hair, but her ears were more furry than anything. That led to thinking about our "daughter", Sarai. Did she have cat ears or ear tufts with owl ears? The latter would've done better for hunting, but she seemed to have taken after her mother in most respects. Cuteness being one of them.

(Our "daughter" only Facebook will know of)

I have a small smile.

"It's okay~" I said.

I turned to Sikota, grabbing onto his arm and clinging to it. I was silent for a couple of minuets, before looking up at him.

"Are we doing anything fun today?" I asked.

  • Author

(There's a thread somewhere here too, actually)

I shrugged. Or rather, I shrugged as much as a guy could with a neko clinging to him. "No idea. We've got the beach right outside. Though it's way too cold to swim or anything. Spooky forest, road into town. I think there's a hot spring a few kilometers into the woods." Shouldn't have mentioned that. I thought to myself. Nothing good happens in places like that. "There's some work that we definitely have to get done in the next few days, working together might make it fun."

"No ocean then...no spooky forest..." I muttered.

"...Hot Spring?" I asked.

A grin came across my face as I stared at Sikota.

"You know you shouldn't have said that you know..." I said rather darkly.

  • Author
Did she just read my mind or something? I asked myself. Wouldn't be surprising knowing my clairvoyant girlfriend. "Yeah... I probably shouldn't have..." If I knew my clairvoyant girlfriend well enough, the fact that nothing good comes from a visit to a hot spring especially with a pervert like her around. But then again, there was that one side of me that thought similarly. However, I suppressed such thoughts for the time being. "What are you implying?" I asked accusingly.

"Wha–what am I implying?!" I said rather snappishly.

"Well you know what has happened in the past with all of these roleplays....remember Kotori...?" I said with a small grin.
