An Owl, a Cat, and a House (loose 1x1 between Neko-chan and Sikota Urinakano)

Posted

An owl, and a cat. Not really though, just two adolescent lovers spending time together in a nice beach house and fooling around, getting on each other's nerves and enjoying every second of it. Yes, this RP was made for my little kitten and myself, but if you want (and is she's okay with it) post a sign-up inside some spoiler tags later in the RP and come along and knock on the door. Things are bound to get boring eventually if it's just the two of us. But then there's that one door...

Here I am:

Name: Sikota Urinakano

Age: 15

Gender: Believe it or not, male

Appearance: don't judge me, Neko

Unsure of whether Neko's 'here it is' was the dress, or something for me, I let her take my hand.

"Take me away." I told her with a hint of lighthearted sarcasm.

"You asked for it." I said with a smile, beginning to drag Sikota towards the men's section of the store.

"Here we are." I said.

Somehow I actually got him to this side of the store despite me being rather wimpy.

Following my little kitten, we reached the other side of the store. The colors were much less extravagant at first glance and everything looked, for the most part, the same. I knew, however, that there were fashionable undertones to the supposed sameness here. I rolled my eyes. I'm rarely this technical. Especial about clothes. "Alright, you're turn." I told Neko.

I looked out to all the stuff in front of me and laughed nervously.

"Don't rely all on me! You're going to have to help me out a bit Sikota!" I snapped.

"That ruins the fun of it though." I said. Nonetheless I looked around. "How 'bout this: you know my style for the most part, some kind of button down shirt with a chromatically coordinated t-shirt. Why don't you find something like that in a pair of colors you like?"

"I guess you're right..." I said seriously.

Letting go of Sikota's hand, I looked at him.

"Stay here." I said, dashing off to all the clothes.

It only took about three minuets to find him something. A white shirt with a black button down shirt and some black jeans.

"Try this!" I said, showing up beside my Sikota again.

"Alrighty then." I said, accepting the clothes from Neko-chan. I walked over to the changing room. I took off my jacket and pulled off my shirt, replacing it with the store's white one. I then put the black shirt over it, leaving it unbuttoned to contrast into the white. Changing out of my blue jeans to the black ones, I soon realized that this was basically my current a outfit with a few color adjustments. In an ideal world, that probably would've been me. I chuckled at the thought of that. I observed my new appearance in the mirror. I found it rather... dramatic. These were the clothes of some street hero in a shounen anime. Simple, charming, wouldn't look bad punching someone in the stomach. I smiled, stepping out of the changing room, grabbing a black fedora and placing it on my head as I found Kurai. "What do you think?" I asked her, holding my arms out and spinning on my heel.

"Like yourself~" I said with a smile.

"Buy it!" I exclaimed.

"Pllleeeaaaassseee..." I said with a grin.

Like myself? I guess we both felt similarly. But she liked it. So did I. "Well," I started "you're getting that gorgeous dress so I guess it's only fair." I pet her playfully and turned to change back. "The hat too?" I asked on my way towards the changing room.

I shook me head. Sikota already had a hat that looked good on him, so why would he need another? I was alone again, but of course only for a bit.

I took a quick at myself in the mirror before I began to change. It may've been just a color swap but it was pretty cool. My clothes came off and were soon replace. Black by blue, white by yellow, black by gray. I stepped out, put the fedora back where I found it, and returned to Kurai's side holding the clothes folded and aloft like a waiter would, his dish.

"Come on." I said seriously, grabbing my Sikota's hand and heading for the checkout.

Once we got there I turned to Sikota.

".....How much did all this cost again..." I muttered.

"Twenty something for the dress" I assumed "and around thirty for my outfit." I checked the price tags of the clothes in my hand. "Yeah. 32-ish." It was no problem. We had a decent budget for the week. We'd have a nice enough amount of money to spare after this and even after some groceries.

I reached in my pockets, managing to find a twenty. I was lucky.

"Here we go!" I said with a small smile.

The line moved rather fast, us two paying then getting out of here.
