1: Jack

I walked back through the diamond snow, my clothes splattered in fresh redness, warm and steaming in the night air. i'd just successfully murdered some dumb teens out at lover's lane, and was feeling pretty good: nothing like a beheading to get your spirits up.

I walked slowly through the cold, headed back to my favorite section of the woods, a large clearing I'd nick named " Frost Glow ' from the wonderful views of the moon it gave.

As I approached, something made my muscles tense, my brain work into overtime, and my rage boil in my cold soul: someone else was there, someone who had no RIGHT to be there.

I tensed my legs, ready to jump and slash, when I heard a sound that scared me, me, a homicidal maniac; a wolf howl, that turned to human words at the end.

In this silent way, another night passed, as I sank into the darkness of memories.

Sleep, darkness, nightmares...

After a while, my eyes opened, and everything was....

everything was different.

-whines and get the old man who owns the cabin and looks at you- "Well hello there sunny boy." The old man said.

" What do you want?" 

I didn't mean to bite, but everything was.... odd. 

Colors were too bright, sounds too loud. 

Burn out, that's what it was: too much power at once. 

" Well, someone's a bear this morning." 

I leapt to my feet, pointed my staff at the old man, and yelled, ice freezing him solid. 

Jack! Why did you do that? 

Saph spoke into my mind, but I chose to speak aloud. 

" i don't know... no one'll miss him." 

I turned away, then looked back over my shoulder. 

" You coming?"

-grows back into my normal size and shakes out fur and ml- Coming.

Where we were going, I didn't know...

All i knew, was nothing was going to be the same anymore, nothing was ever going to be safe.

Where do we go now?
