hi! every so often i look back at stuff that i liked a few years before to get a nostalgia kick out of it. now is one of those time. im really into pokemon right now and its been a few years scince i played gen 3. the hoenn region is absolutly my favorite region of all regions and i REALLY want to replay emerald but im not sure if i should. tho id get a HUGE nostalgia kick out of it, i could get more. as we all know x and y came out and people are speculating a R/S/E remake wich i REALLY REALLY want. if i play emerald now that will ruien the nostalgia for that game. i know this game hasent even been anounced yet but im really not sure if i want to take the risk. i decided that i would wait until the game is announced and released (with all hopes that this game will happen) but then i stumbled across a video on youtube that brought SO SO SO SO much nostagia to me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q61gpsP_VGM now m not sure if i can hold it. there are also more downsides. i like to transfer all the pokemon that i have to my current games. but i got rid of my gen 4 games. so if i want to transfer my pokemon i have to also do a playthrough of those games so i can unlock pal park. but even with that i can only transfer 6-7 pokemon a day. i want to then transfer them to black 2, then pokemon bank, then y. that way i will have all my pokemon on one game becouse thats how i like it. if your still reading this than you are officially awesome to sit through all this. what do you think i should do? should i replay it now or should i wait for the bigger nostalgia when the R/S/E remake gets announced and released?

acually remakes have always been part of the same generation. HG/SS was gen 4 like D/P/P and FR/LG was gen 3 like the awesome awesome R/S/E. so if they make a remake itl be part of gen 6.

I think a RubySaphire remake might happen sooner than we think

 

It'll give the Gen 6 meta game more time to establish itself and at the same time,it'll give GameFreak more time to think of new Pokemon and think of more tweaks for Gen 7's meta game
