this is what I'm going to do, problem is I've never built a computer, and I don't know how to make a computer wifi enabled, The ethernet ports in my room don't work for whatever reason so wifi's pretty much my only option. Help pls. I know almost nothing about a computers parts and how to build one

There are special wi-fi adapters you can buy that simply plug into your USB port and enable to to connect by wi-fi without the need to ehternet cables. However, I recommend installing a PCI network adapter, where the PCI slot is directly inserted into a port on the motherboard, meaning that this way, your adapter is plugged straight into the computer itself, instead of having to go through a USB port.

Which would deliver faster internet? I kind of want to do the usb one so i wont make this more complicated for myself but i'm worried it won't be as fast

Yes, it would be compatible. (Unless your PC is designed for Windows 95)

There's the Rosewill N900. It has a pretty high wifi capacity. There are some cheaper adapters if you're on a budget, though.

No, you should just be able to install it in a free PCI slot. No other hardware should be required.

You might want to check your motherboard manual for the PCI slot version in your motherboard, then buy the WiFi PCI adapter, the only requirements might be the installation of drivers.  Note: PCI are backward compatible, it means that if you have a PCI v2.3 slot you put a wiFi PCI 2.2 card...
