Alright, so I've heard of Xenosaga and Xenogears for a while now. I'm a huge fan of Xenoblade Chronicles, another game by Monolith Soft, and I've considered looking into these two for a while now. Xenosaga seems to be popping up a bit, and it looks really interesting, but I'm not sure if I should try it. First of all, I've heard that its each cutscene is about 30 minutes long on average. Is it worth the long cutscenes? I don't like skipping cutscenes, before anyone suggest that, since I'm really interested in a game's storyline. This game's storyline is supposedly excellent from what I've heard, and if it's anything like Xenoblade, then I know for sure I don't want to be skipping around. Also, does the game let you save often? I don't know if I'll have the time for the 30 minute cutscenes on top of gameplay, so I don't know if I'd be able to make much progress while playing. The gameplay looks fun as well, similar to the old Square games like Final Fantasy VI, X, and Chrono Trigger, so I don't think I'll need to ask about that. However, I've heard the violence really pushes the T rating at points, and that there are other moments which make the game seem more like it'd deserve an M rating. Is it really that bad? I can't play M games aside from very few exceptions, and my PS2 is in a room that's often frequented, so I'd probably get caught if anything too bad happened.

So, to summarize:

1. Do the long cutscenes interfere with the game at all? Skipping them isn't an option for me.

2. Are there a lot of opportunities to save? I feel like I wouldn't make much progress otherwise, with the 30 minute cutscenes and all.

3. Does the violence ever get too over the top? Look at this from a T rating, please.

4. Does it really push the T rating too far sometimes? I don't want to get in trouble over this.

I was just curious about the game, and felt that this would be the best place to ask. Thanks!
