I want to study abroad but I have been having trouble finding a good prgram. I underatand nothing is perfect hut man there are some bad ones!! I was looking at AFS and was getting really excited, but then I saw reveiws where people have been raped. I dont want that to happen to me, especially since im a girl. Do you guys know of any reputable highschool exchange programs that are good and SAFE for a girl? (Im wanting to go to Japan or somewhere around there.)

I don't know any high school programs, but in general I would try to find one that is outside of Tokyo.  Tokyo has some bad neighborhoods with trafficking and because the cost of living is high there it's hard to find families with the space or means to host an exchange student.  But to be honest, Japan's crime rates are very low. You are more likely to get raped in America than in Japan.
