PSP analog isn't working properly! :(

Posted

My PSP is the 2.000 version, a bit old, but I still love it! I've put so much TIME on it. My analog is CRAZY! I can't move forward, I can hardly move down and right... and the character starts walking on its own. When I play fighting games such as Tekken or Soul Calibur, the characters starts to jump by itself, avoiding me to defend and to get hit.

On Dissidia I can't do certain attacks and dodge... a royal pain indeed.

On BBS, I can't move! Sometimes Aqua/Terra/Ven starts walking on their own attacking the wrong opponent... and when I try to fight against MF, the character stands still and I die!

It's the same for every single game and sometimes on the options.... I want to... sleect Options, but it starts to move its own and It gives me an headache to click on the right option!

Or sometimes the characters moves to the opposite direction... Such thing as "buyable analogs" are not even available on my country!!!!

What should I do?! :

It's not a software issue - there's an issue with the hardware. You probably need to buy a replacement analog stick.

There's a tutorial here.

I haven't seen any analog sticks at retailers, but I know online stores sell them, like this one on Amazon

Then purchase a new one :) or buy a Vita, if you don't mind having to buy a PS3 to play bbs next year

Great help, really! First of all. HAcking a new PSP is hard and the quality of colour of the games is lower than on the 2.000 PSP. Vita is shit. I have Dissidia for PSP, which isn't playable for the PS3.. I don't play PSP only for BBS -.-

I sense sarcasm... Just buy another PSP.. And the Vita 2000 is only in Japan, so unless your in there, quit bitching
