Borderlands Save Data Corrupted.

Posted

So I press X on Borderlands, click on Single Player, only to see that the image for my only save file is grey with the four shapes on the four buttons on the PS3 controller. That got me worried but I remained hopeful. And then I try loading it and it says basically it's corrupted and asks if I want to delete it. I was nearly at the end of the game. Story wise I was at the VERY last area of the game, on the mission Find Steele. Although before I completed the game I wanted to complete all of the DLC. I did the first one "The Island of Dr. Zombie Ned", or whatever it's name is, I'm too lazy to look it up. I completed it and moved on to "Mad Moxxi's Underdrome Riot". The first arena gave me hardly any trouble but the Angelic Ruins I had to try once a day for many days before I finally did it. Up to now for the third arena I had only tried completing it 3 or 4 times before today, only to find my saved data corrupted. "Sigh", I guess I have to start all over and make sure I have two save files >_<.

This is why some games require multiple saves and backups on usb flash drives.

This happened to me before. Level 30 Mordecai, and suddenly bam, corrupted.

I know your pain, man.

Not that I'm glad it happened to you too, but the fact it dead eases the pain of having to loose all the progress I made!
