"Premonition", or "Yogen" is the second film of the J-Horror Theatre series, the other two being "Infection" and "Reincarnation".
Based on a manga called "Newspaper of Doom", the story follows a professor who witnessed the tragedy of his daughter's death in an auto accident. To make matters worse, he read in a newspaper that his daughter was going to die that way at that time, prior to the event.
Three years later, the newspaper comes back to haunt him, allowing him to become aware of others' deaths. With the help of his now-ex-wife, they hunt for more information about this newspaper.
I personally liked the movie. It became extremely confusing at times, but it became easy to catch up on. The beginning made me cry. The ending made me cry.
And, of course, its American remake was a huge disappointment. >.<
Has anyone else seen it? If so, what are your opinions of it?[/align]
