The ship sailed smoothly over the vast sky. The captain was watching over the deck. He was old, almost 69. He was forgetful and cruel, and had a slur in his voice. While some members look upon him with annoyance, animosity, and hatred, the older members remember his glory. The ship reflected that, creaking. Jason didn't remember it's pristine condition, he was too young. He checked the gas, it was low, one of the many things in poor condition. He sighed, and went up above deck. The captain hated him now, lord knows why? He had been nothing but good to him. It annoyed him to the core. He looked around, to find some of his crew mates

Bio: Orphaned at a young age, he lived a street rat for a young age. At 5, he snuck on the ship, and became a crew member due to bring fed up with the lowdown town he lived in. The captains first mate taught him all he needed to live by, becoming a father figure to him.

"Thanks" She said. She looked to the entrance of the cave. There was a wolf standing there. "Guys..!" She whispered. She took a sharp stone and was ready to attack the wolf when it wanted to attack them.

"No..." James eased Caitlyn down. "Your injuries are too serious..." he pulled out his pocket knife. The wolf stared, anticipating its attack.

"Stop!" I yelled. I walked up to the wild wolf. I bend down to his level and smiled. He begin to smile and act like a puppy. "Death!" I yelled with happiness. Death ran up to me and knocked me down on my back licking my face. "Death. I missed you boy." I said. I hugged Death to me. "Did you follow me all the way from Romania?" I asked. He just nodded his head. I just laughed and petted him. "Whos my good boy?" I cooed. He woofed at me and licked under my chin. "Guys I want you to meet my best pal and favorite hunting partner Death." I said. 

"Okay..." James said, with a look of exasperation. "What is not yours around here!? And if I remembered correctly, you were in a barrel when I found you! And we are too far from Romania! Was he hoping we just land somewhere soon, so he could find you? Because, seriously? This situation is near impossible!"

I growled in anger then  I smiled. "Well guess you don't need me and Death to help you two out of the Deadlands or even get food and fire wood. Guess you two can freeze to death in a cave in the Deadlands. You two can do that while I can go and get out of here and rebuild my Father's ship and fly it. Oh well bye-bye." I said. I walked out of the cave and dashed off with Death hot on my heels. "Good boy Death. Good boy." I said.

"Hey!" He shouted, and stormed off. "Just so you know, I have the only map! It's no problem for you though, huh! Miss perfect pirate!" He clenched his fists in rage. "And when you see your old man in hell, tell him I said HES A DOUCHE!" He felt the gusts of wind get more powerful

"Hungry Death?" I asked. He just nodded his head and we began our hunt for something small for us both. "I have the map to only see how well the do with out it." I said laughing. He just chuckled with me. After we hunted and ate we came back to see how well they are doing with out things they need.

"Looks like a hurricane soon..." He looked at Caitlyn. "We will stay here for two days...one, at least.... You need to heal your legs... And we need to wait out the storm."

I chuckled softly. "Hurricane my ass." I said softly. We dashed off fast and quietly. We stop for a moment and burned the map. Our path was set so we began on our way again. We are up and out of the Deadlands before the storm even hits.

"What a B*tch!" Caitlyn yelled. She took her stone and tried to stand up. She wanted to throw that stone to her head. "Yeah, run!" She sat down again pissed of like hell. "If she shows her face one more time, I'll kill her". Caitlyn said. She never raged like that before. She started to make her stone sharper to calm down again.

"Come on Death. We still got a long way to the shore." I said before running again quietly and swift with Death right on my heels doing the same. I smiled to my self and thinks. What would I do with out my best pal and hunting partner.

"Alright..." Jason lifted Caitlyn up, and assumed piggyback. "The storms calmed down, and you can't strain your leg..." He started walking.

Caitlyn's face turned red when Jason lifted her up. "Thanks.." She said. She wished she would be able to walk again really soon. "Do you know where we're going?"

"Safe way is in that direction." Jason pointed to the direction of the smoke coming out a funnel. "That is a city over there... We may be able to get another ship... And then we can start our crew together..." He smiled at Caitlyn. "But first, we will getting medical attention for you, miss."

I laughed. "Death they might have fallen for my fire trap." I said with a smile. Death just barked out a laugh. "We are the best aren't we?" I asked Death. He just nodded his wolf head.

Jason trudged though the forest. It felt like hours, with the luggage, and His first mate on his back..."I...see it...so... Close...."

We made it back to shore. I looked at Death and smiled at my wonderful wolf. "Lets build us a flying ship." I said with a smile.

Caitlyn put her head on Jason's shoulder. "I'm sorry". She said. She looked to the buildings. "We are almost there!" She said to him. "Just hang on a little longer!" A smile appeared on her face. She never would've thought that she would be so happy to see the city again.

Jason saw the town in the distance, along with a fire pit. "Strange...why would a pit be here? " he felt dizzy from sleep withdrawal... He had been up countless nights when he was on the ship...

"I don't know.." Caitlyn said. She looked at Jason's head. "You have to rest.." She said to him. "You can put me down now..." She looked at her legs. The bandages were all red now. "I'll be fine..." She said.

"No..." James said. "We...need...to...get help..." His vision got blurry. "I...need...mate...sa..." He passed out on the grass.

Caitlyn placed her hands on the ground before she fell on Jason. She stood up. Her legs were shaking. "I'll get some help!" She said to Jason. Caitlyn started walking, searching for help. But there weren't many people on the streets.

Then she saw an Inn. She walked in and saw a lot of men around tables drinking like it was the last time. "Hey Honey, what brings you here?" An old man asked Caitlyn with a scary looking smile. "Shut it, Charles!" The woman after the bar said. She walked to Caitlyn and looked at her legs "Hello, my name is Katarina" The woman said "What happened?"

"You have to help us! My friend is lying outside." Caitlyn said.

Katarina pointed to two boys. They both looked 25 years old. They went outside and took Jason to the Inn. Katarina leaden Caitlyn to one of the rooms. And the two boys brought Jason to a room as well. The boys started to look at Jason's and Caitlyn's wounds. And they took care of it. Meanwhile, Katarina was making food. And brought it to the rooms.

"The boy who is taking care of you is Derek. And the other boy is Brandon. He is staying with your friend". Katarina asked when she came in Caitlyn's room with some food. "What happened?" She asked after she put the food on a table.

Caitlyn started to tell everything that happened.

 

"Skypirates heh?" Katarina said. "I was one too. But our captain died and we all started a new life".

"We are making a new crew now" Caitlyn said to the woman.

"All finished Death. We need a crew now. But if I need a crew that works then I need a disguise. Come on Death help me find a costume." I said. I found an old coat, boots, and a hat. Death found pants, shirt, and a pair of gloves. I put it all on and walked into the Inn. "Who wants to be my crew on my ship." I said in a gruff deep voice. Death was growling at my side. "Enough Death." I said. Death my wolf stopped growling.

James tossed and turned. "First...nmayet..." He sweated, and it seemed like he was sweating in bed. "Needs... To be safe..."

Hears whimpering. "Is someone sick and hurting?" I asked.
