There a many legends told, some of heroes, some of villains, but not many about the truth. The truth that was life long ago. A galaxy of magic and hope, and darkness and fear. Only those who are a part of the legends remain, lost in the world, unaware of who they truly are......

 

 

Chapter 1: The New Age of Warriors

 

 

 

The scene fades in from darkness. The area is that of Pluto in space, but with more of a cold and dark place. The scene moves in to a person in weird, dark armor. The man stood there looking in the direction of the Earth. "The world, the world of the new guardians, the new warriors. Those souls who are yet to know who they truly are. Those who will fight for what they believe in, those who will stop at nothing to defeat their enemies, enemies like me." The person said with a low dark, evil tone. The scene then fades out to black.

 

After a moment of the scene being black, the scene fades in on an alarm clock that told the date and time to be 9:29 am on the ninth of January of 2014. The alarm then changed to 9:30 and started to go off with the song playing being "Wide Awake" by Katy Perry. A hand then reached out of the covers on the bed and turned the alarm off. The person in the covers moved them off of their body and sat up. The person turned out to be nineteen year old Victoria Deadriser. Her hair was all over the place and she had to rub her eyes to open them. "I hate the morning, and the day." Victoria said in a sleepy tone. She then rose her body out of bed and went to go into the restroom, and when the door slammed shut, the title of the story appeared on the door.

 

Moments later, Victoria came out of her house in her regular looks. She lived alone and liked quietness. She was headed to her current job at the local Hot Topic, the job that she could only see herself doing in life, since she was not one for happiness. The local Hot Topic was located in the mall, on the second floor, out of three. The mall was pretty big, but it would have to be for Victoria lived in the city of Buford, Georgia. The store used to be located on the first floor, but has since moved to the second after a new GAP outlet was put in.

 

It didn't take Victoria long to arrive in at the Mall of Georgia, and to get started on her day....not knowing that this would be the biggest day of her life.

Ken is seen walking outside the plaza, minding his own business while listening to a song on his Ipod. He is happy today, because he is to receive something from his father, who lives in Florida, in the mail. It is a surprise for him to find out what it is. He looks around the shops with a smile on his face. "Life sure is bright today..." Said Ken, talking to himself out loud.

Xen woke up alone in his dorm again. His annoying partner had already left. He got up, put on his headphones and started walking. He dressed casual, and always showers at night, so, there was no worry.

 

Rai looked at the room. Today was the day. He and his band were gonna rock the world! He just knew it. He had a strange feeling, and those feelings usually meant smooth sailing.

Victoria was walking from the plaza up to her job. She was wearing very dark sunglasses and could hardly see where she was going, even with them on. She then randomly bumped in Ken and fell back to the ground. "Seriously?!?! I can hardly see, give me a break reality!!!!" Victoria said in her mind as she fall to the ground.

Xen saw the collision. He smiled slightly, and walked over. "Need a hand?" He outstretched his hand.

Victoria could hardly make out the man, but felt the hand. She grabbed it and pulled herself up. "I guess I have to thank you, even though that is not how I do things. Now, how about you be my eyes for me and help me get to my job?" Victoria asked. She really had a problem unlike any other when it came to the sun. 

"Alright, where do you work?" He smiled. He rarely did care for it. Not much to smile about his life…

Victoria looked at the outline shadow of the man that she could make out. "The Hot Topic on the second floor. The only job that makes me feel okay, since I am not a very happy person." Victoria said. Her past was surrounded in mystery, but one could tell that she has a reason why she isn't happy in life. 

"Okay." He took her hand, and guided her.

"Hey!" One of the registers chucked "nice light cosplay!"

"Buzz off…" he said. That freaking manga ruined his life! Now his unkept-ness was 'mainstream'…

When they were inside at the store, Victoria took off her sunglasses and finally saw the man's true looks. She was almost knocked back by the looks, and fell down due to tripping on a table leg. 'Geez, why do I keep falling down to gravity. He is only a guy, who are bad news.' Victoria thought in her mind. 

"Am I that repulsing?" Xen said "My names Xen, X-E-N not Z-E-N" he helped her up.

 

Rai saw the other two on his shift. "Gravity's a killer, huh?" He chuckled. "How's the hunt for Kira?" He asked the other boy.

Victoria didn't understand a word of what point Xen was trying to make. "I'm sorry, but am I missing something here? I don't understand what references are being made here." Victoria said confused and more interested. 

"Nothing important…" he said. He didn't need this. "What's your name?"

Victoria really didn't seem to care about the reference at all. "My name is Victoria, Victoria Deadriser. And I am not the happiest person this side of Georgia. I am even allergic to the sun and that's why I couldn't see outside." Victoria said. She then thought of her schedule, she would be getting her lunch break at noon and would have a whole hour free. "Hey, what do you plan to do for lunch? If you want, I know the perfect place, we could go on my lunch break at noon." Victoria said. She started to think what was with herself and hitting on this one guy?

"Ok…" he said. "Let's go… I'm in need of a job anyway... Might sign up after lunch." An allergy to the sun? Must be something rare… it would soon be noon…

Ken get's up, rubbing his head with one of his hands. He looks around for the person who bumped into him, but he sees no one. He is confused, but shrugs it off, thinking that he was hallucinating. He continues his stroll in the plaza happily. "That was weird... I thought someone bumped into me..." Thought Ken, mentally thinking to himself in his head.

(Okay, I am just going to fast forward time to noon, for that is when the action will pick up)

 

 

When the time turned to noon, Victoria was seen waiting outside of the Cheesecake Factory for Xen. She had gotten separated from him since work. She told him to meet her in the spot she was waiting. But little did she see that the there was someone watching her in the coward nearby on the other side of the plaza where the restaurant is.

Xen walked in. He saw Victoria . "There you are!" He sat down. "…How was work? He asked. He didn't care about that, he just wanted conversation.

Victoria rolled her eyes. "Like every other day. Life is such a killer. How has your day been?" Victoria asked.

"Not that interesting…" he looked at the mysterious man. "Do you know him?"

Rai was on lunch break as well. He was so ready for the concert! He wanted something to eat...

Ken arrives at the Cheesecake Factory, and sits at the counter. He is seen asking a waitress for a nice cheeseburger and a slice of strawberry cheesecake. He watches as the waitress goes into the kitchen. He then begins to wait patiently in his seat, listening to his Ipod. "Today was an interesting day, I thought I bumped into someone, and my "Thing" is ot arrive in my mail today... I can't wait to see what it is..." Thought Ken, mentally thinking to himself in his head.
