Today on BKP, we will be talking about the evolutionary cycle of fish, monkey's, and cereal obsessive zombies.
You better not have thought that was what this was about...because it isn't. No...this, as the title might suggest, is about tactics to defeat that ever 'difficult' final boss Marluxia. Even though I alone am typing this, we both are working together to make this as easy a possible for you...the customer...Alright, enough of this hospitality crap, lets actually do this.
To actually make this easy, I am going to show you my deck, maybe, and tactics on how to take on the three forms of Marluxia.
First off, I am making it clear that the deck that I used was the same for all three of Marluxia's forms, except for a few changes. So I'm only going to put it once, just to save space.
Here is the deck I used:

Vexen
Oogie Boogie
Air Soldier
Wight Knight
I'm not sure why I put the Wight Knight in there. Also, I used sleights for all the attack cards until I used the Hi-Potion. I started out by using the Vexen card, and once I died, if I did, I would use the Oogie Boogie card to easily heal up. When I ran out of potion cards and used my Vexen card up, I would use the Air Soldier so that I could still move around when reloading.
Now enough about how I did it. It is important to actually give good advice on how to do this.
Marluxia: First Form:
Alright, first off, it is a good idea to have super glide which can be obtained in the Castle Oblivion treasure room. Using this will allow you to avoid some of his frustrating attacks if you don't have zero cards to block them. When going into this battle, it is a good idea to bring in a few zero cards, unlike I did. The zero cards will allow you to break some of his tough sleights. It would also be a good idea to bring the Parasitic Cage card with you so that you can dispose of his annoying enemy card that allows him to use a sleight twice, and it works for three sleights, that way it will save you some trouble. If you feel like you want to try, you could try using the Reflect Raid sleight, it deals good damage, and I believe there is a way to make most of the blades hit him. It is an absolute must to bring in the Vexen enemy card and the Oogie Boogie card, that way you can have another chance at defeating him if he takes out all your HP. If you do bring in the Parasitic Cage card, then don't use any enemy cards until Marluxia uses his enemy card, then use the Vexen card. If you have zero cards in your deck, two suggestions:
First off, put them at the very end of your deck for easy access.
Second, link a shortcut to the first one, but never use the first one until you have used the others, that way, you still have that card as a quick shortcut to reach the others.
A reason why the super glide ability is such a good idea is because Marluxia has a attack where he summons three large swirling spheres, and if you get caught in one, Marluxia will unleash a powerful attack on you, and that is not a good idea.
Marluxia: Second Form:
This form is by far the easiest form of Marluxia. The reason for that is because he uses no sleights in this form. There are a few things you need to be careful of. First off, he has a 'attack' that shrouds your cards in darkness. Luckily, it takes a little bit of time before he can perform the move, so you should try to break it as soon as possible. Also, he has a move where his ship goes out of the battle field and flies in and out of the battle field, so it is imperative that you break it while he is in the battle field, otherwise he will just do it again, so timing is important. Now it might be a good idea to take out his scythe arms before doing anything else, that way it is just one less way he can deal damage to you. Also, it is a benefit to you since destroying the arms will allow you to receive a few large HP orbs. Overall, you should have high cards in your deck so that you can break his cards, as well as a few zeros for the next battle, because it will be a test of your skills and deck.
Marluxia: Third Form:
I considered this form easier than the first, but that is up for questioning. Unlike the second form, Marluxia has sleights, almost luckily though, they are made up of the same numbers, so if you are going to use a sleight to counter it, you can easily tell if your sleight can block it. This is also a good time to have the super glide ability, because the sleight he uses that is made up of 8's sends a big gust of wind that blows you to the other side of the level, but that ability can over ride that and allows you to fly right back to him quickly. He also has two special attacks that are quite frustrating. One of them (the sleight made out of #7 cards) knocks all of the cards in your deck away from you, leaving them on the battle field for you to recollect, and that would be a good time to have the draw card (it is the enemy card of the annoying orange monkey) so that you can easily collect all your cards, but the thing is, if you didnt have it activated yet, then you will have to recollect it, but if you activated the Vexen card first, then don't use it, just collect them the old fashion way. The other move is his doom attack (the sleight made up of #6 cards) which requires you to break the seven cards that he presents to you before the timer runs out. I do not know the consequences for not breaking all seven cards, but from other games I've played, I'd assume that it would kill you instantly. To prepare your deck for this, just make sure you have high numbered cards so you can easily break the cards. Before heading in to the final battle (forms 2 and 3 of Marluxia), it would be advised to put in enough cure cards to help you survive, and only use Curaga when necessary. I would suggest bringing in the Air Soldier card so that in the case of you using up all your item cards, you could still move around while reloading.
I hoped this helped, and I hope it wasn't too difficult to sit through and read all of this. Chances are this will be edited so there can be better advice.
