I awoke, the sun streaming through the window in golden rays, the birds chittering....
" Jack, that's mine, give it back!"
" Not on your life, kiddo."
" ALLIIICCEE!!!!"
" WHAT?!? I'M BLOWDRYING MY HAIR!!!!"
" Guys, please just..."
" OWWW!!!!!"
" DON'T MAKE ME STAB YOU ALL!!!"
" Alice, you're not helping...."
I sighed: day seemed good so far.
I sat up, the room messy around me, the cats sleeping on me like I was a couch or something.
" Bugger off! " I snapped, pushing them off with on hand.
I stood, stretching, my ears all crinkled to the side from sleeping.
Clad only in boxers and a tee that read POOKA'S DO IT BY THE BOOK, I went out into the hall, the sounds of screaming from the kitchen down the hall echoing back to me.
" OOOWWW!!! QUIT IT!!"
" GIVE...ME...IT!!!"" I DIDN'T GO TO AN ASYLUM TO DEAL WITH THIS CRAP EVERYDAY!!!"
" Guys, please..."
" OWWWWWWWW!!!!"
It was chaos: Jack had wrestled Hiccup to the floor, and was repeatedly kicking, a manga held in one hand.
Elsa stood nearby, trying to calm everyone down, Alice's shrieks from her room across the living room not helping.
" SHUT UP, SHUT, UP, SHUT UPPPPPPP!!!!"
" Alex! Thank god...make them..."
Elsa waved her hands at the tussle, Jack's sweater torn, Hiccup's shoulder bruised.
" K, know what? NO ONE GETS IT!"
The manga shot out of Jack's hand, and I caught it deftly, glaring at them both.
" Hiccup... your 19: act your age. Jack, dude: 300 plus, for gods sake!"
" He star.."
" No one started it. Get dressed for breakfast."
As they left, Elsa looked at me wearily, and sat down heavily in a kitchen chair.
RATED: 16 for stuff

" Morning. "
This, at 9 am.
Yeah...good times.
