Spectral Links (1x1 with Josh wilson)

Posted

Some humans are never alone. They have a link with something 'inhuman' called Spirits.

These people are called Masters. And Masters fight each other. Because they want more Spirits. More power.

There are a lot of Spirits who aren't connected with a Master. Only the strongest ones receives a link.

These links give the Master an Ability. Not really strong. But good enough to help their Spirit in a fight.

Every Spirit has his own weapon and his own Ability for the Master.

I am one of the Masters.

Fen watched over master as she slept. "Erina... " he whispered. "I may be able to win you back ...."

All the Spirits fused together into one Spirit. Zephari! Rianne walked to the beautiful green Spirit. Then she looked behind her. Fen started to fade away and only Rianne and Zephari were left.

Fen looked outside. Daybreak was soon...no sign of masters...

Rianne opened her eyes. "Zephari.." she said quiet. But when she saw Fen she knew Zephari wasn't with her.

"Hmm..." Fen growled. Zephari. The great sprit. Given to the winner, It's ability is to grant any wish...

"Fen.." Rianne said. Her head hurt so much. "I want to go hom. I want to lie down in my bed". She said quiet. The Link between them was still not so strong. Which made her even weaker.

"Almost there..." Fen said. He placed her on the couch as soon as they reached the house.

"Thank you.." She said and closed her eyes again. She put her hand on Fen's head and then she fell asleep. She had the same dream as before. Always the same thing. Zephari. Why didn't she just disappear from her mind? that would make everything a lot easier.

Fen went upstairs, and slept... Today was eventful...

He wondered if the rumors were true.... That if he was summoned... He...and all the other sprits...

The next morning~

Rianne woke up. She went to the bathroom to take a shower. After that she went to the kitchen to get some food. She missed her first Spirit so much. Not that Fen wasn't great but Zephari and Rianne had a really strong Link.

"Morning...." Fen said. "You have slept through school. I tried to wake you." His stomach grumbled.

"No problem. I'm not feeling that well so.." She said. Rianne heard his stomach. "Take something to eat". She said while she tossed the bread to him.

Fen gnawed on the bread. "You were speaking of the sprit you had before... I noticed your weak link..." He looked at her caringly.

Rianne stared at him. "Yeah and you are always thinking about Erina. Which makes our Link weak as well." She said a little annoyed. "Zephari was my Spirit and I will do everything to get her back". She said and left the kitchen.

Fen looked away. "I...I wonder if that's possible... I've heard... Legends..." He started to tear up. "Legends... That may hinder both of us..."

  • Author

S"What are you talking about?" Rianne said still annoyed. She was thinking about Fen. Did he realize that it was because of him that she was so weak. He had to forget about his past. If he did that Rianne would forget about Zephari and then she would get strong again. He had to forget about Erina.

"It's..." Fen shook his head. "Nothing." It was the myth... The great sprit was supposedly a mass of all the sprits in the world... And when the wish was granted... The sprit cycle would restart... All sprits return to nothing to start again.

"Good!" Rianne said. She took a glass of milk and went to the living room. She was totally pissed off. Why didn't Fen say anything to her? She was tired of it. Tired of him. She would replace him with any other Spirit if she could. Even if he was a Legendary. Every Spirit was better than him. Rianne thought it was impossible to get a good Link with him because he still had that unbreakable, strong Link with Erina.

"I..." Fen said. "It's a myth... That we may never get what we want... The sprit cycle..."

  • Author

"Okay." That's the only thing she said. She took her headphones and started listening to music while totally ignoring Fen.

Fen licked his masters face.... "Master... I'm sorry..." He had been given a second chance.... He felt weaker..."I'll only serve you...please... Believe me..."

  • Author

"Yeah sure" She said. Rianne stood up and walked through the door to leave the house. She knew this wasn't a good idea but she didn't care anymore.

Fen walked over to master. It felt as he had to stay close to keep the small bond going. "Master...." He kept whimpering, moving slower and slower.

  • Author

"You are not going to die if our Link breaks" Rianne said. "You will be free again! And you can choose a new Master. I know you don't want to be with me." She turned around and stared at Fen. "Search some Master you love.." She said.

"Don't...want...to..." Fen said..."I only want master... Please...."
