Hey, guys! Long time no see. It's me, Locky, and I'm currently working on a book at the moment. And since it seems none of you have Wattpad, I've decided to write it here also. Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

PROLOUGE

I padded silently through the undergrowth, ears pricked for any signs of movement. I kept my head low, scanning my surroundings. I waved my tail, making sure nothing was behind me. I stepped over a twig, avoiding any sounds that would give away my position.

"How does it look, Gears?" I whispered quietly through my headpiece. Gears was on the other line, staring at screens that scanned the areas in front of me.

"All good, Locket. Nothing around you yet. Your destination should be in about... 200 yards." He replied.

"Thanks." I continued the trek silently towards my destination, a hole in the ground. It led underground to a small sanctuary that me and my two brothers, Stratus and Simon, lived temporarily. It was ok. There was water, food that we could catch, and a place to sleep.

The wind ruffled the white fur on my pelt and I quickened my pace, hoping to get there sooner. I hated being not being there too long, especially since I can't trust Simon anymore.

A twig snapped somewhere to my right and I broke into a run, hearing paw steps pursuing me. I cursed to myself as I heard multiple things chasing me. I took a tight turn, hoping to give myself a few more seconds. I heard a snarl and someone spit a curse, and they gained on me again. Another tight turn and I was twisting and turning through unfamiliar trees. The trees kept getting thicker, and I had to slow down to avoid crashing.

Apparently, the things chasing were very familiar with this part, for I heard paw steps getting closer and closer. I quickly hopped into a tree and waited for them to pass.

My heart skipped a beat and I held my breath as I realized who was perusing me. There was no mistaking that black and red fur.

Sin!
