The tale of the Fourth Great Ninja War is one of the most well-known in the shinobi world: Ending in a victory for the Allied Shinobi Force, it allowed for mutual respect and peace between the five great nations of the land. After the war, Naruto Uzumaki, a young jinchuriki who greatly influenced the outcome of the war, was elected as Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village. Since then, the ninja from the war have settled into a much more peaceful lifestyle. Now, in the next generation of the village, the peace is being threatened by a new group. Can the next generation have the same success as the previous one?

Name: Koukon Yougan

 

Age: 13

 

Appearance: Koukon wears a standard Konoha headband across his forehead. He has medium length black hair, which partially obscures his headband. He commonly wears a red hoodie and blue shorts.

 

Gender: Male

 

Personality: Koukon is a bit of a class clown, constantly making jokes and teasing his friends. He's actually very determined to do his best, and will rarely back down from a situation. He's friendly towards those who he gets to know, and can be jokingly sarcastic towards friends at times. He's also got a soft spot for girls...

 

Bio/Family Heritage: Koukon is the heir to the Yougan clan, a prestigious clan known for its expertise with fire style jutsu. The clan was known to even rival the Uchiha in this field. Koukon was expected to be one of the greatest clan members in years, and went through quite a bit of harsh training to get to this point. However, he never got down about it, and always looked on the bright side: Impressing the ladies with his talent. He was also close friends with the Hokage's daughter growing up, along with being rivals with Kinatama Mottoyoi. He graduated from the academy at the top of the class, despite being a clown most of the time.

Age: 17

 

Appearance: Yumi has long red hair, a trademark of the Uzumaki clan. When she's on a mission, or training with her students, she typically wears the standard Leaf shinobi uniform, with the Konoha headband on her forehead. Otherwise, she usually wears an orange t-shirt and blue jeans.

 

Gender: Female

 

Personality: Around her students, or when in a mission, Yumi is typically serious, and acts encouraging towards her teammates. She can often be quieter in battles, due to focusing on analyzing her opponents moves. However, when with her friends, she's more laid back and carefree. This sometimes leaks out around her team, although it doesn't bother her too much when this happens.

 

Bio/Family Heritage: Yumi is a member of the Uzumaki clan, which has become a much smaller clan since the destruction of the Land of Eddies. She was born after her mother, Karin, retired from her position as a shinobi due to guilt for helping rogue ninja. Yumi decided to take on her mother's legacy as a shinobi, and trained hard in order to fill the gap her mother left. She graduated from the Academy at the age of 8, and became a Chunin at the age of 10. She became a Jonin at the young age of 13. She spent the next 4 years as a Jonin, managing to become equal with the likes of shinobi decades older than her. Yumi has an incredible talent for analysis, rivaling even Shikamaru Nara's ability. She is also well-trained in Genjutsu and Ninjutsu, as well as being proficient in Taijutsu. She is often compared to prodigies such as Kakashi Hatake and Itachi Uchiha, and many believe that she has the potential to become the Seventh Hokage.

Name: Itachi Uchiha The Second (Nickname: The Second Coming)

 

Age: 12

 

Appearence: Has short Black hair, and wears a Konoha headband on his left arm. He also wears a Light blue shirt, with a Black jacket(similar to Sasukes during the finals of the Chunin exams) and dark blue shorts. The Uchiha symbol is on the back of his jacket.

 

Gender: Male

 

Personality: He's very serious and a bit anti social. Although, on the inside, he is a nice guy, who genuinely cares for his friends and will protect them. He opens up a bit amongst the few friends that he makes in the RP, and sometimes jokes around. He constantly trains to get stronger and defeat anyone who threatens him or his comrades. He's also not afraid to challenge anyone who provokes him.

 

Bio/Family Heritage: Is the child of the famous Sasuke and Sakura of team 7, the team that the current Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, was on. All throughout his academy years, like his father, he passed well in all aspects of the academy. He was always the cool guy all the girls fawned over in school, although he never really cared and was a loner.

Appearance: overall muscled physique, Hidden Leaf headband tied on right arm, blonde, black streaked hair drawn into a ponytail with spiked bangs, dark purple collared jacket with no undershirt (revealing ripped abdomen) and torn off sleeves, with the Mottoyoi Clan symbol on back (white caricature of a dumbell inside of a circle), black felt wristbands, dark purple pants with black designs, tool bag strapped to right leg, standard blue sandals

 

Gender: Male

 

Personality: Extremely talkative, a little cocky, and overall enthusiastic. His ego has a habit of getting the best of him, due to his prideful upbringing and past. When he gets serious, he has a very commanding and aggressive demeanor. Also gets aggressive when he sees powerful opponents. Doesn't give up until the very end. Incredibly stubborn. Has a sensitive side when it comes to the innocent. Also is very friendly and protective towards people he cares about. But, he is also outspoken and a realist, not afraid to say things that might piss people off or do things he feels he needs to in order for people to act right in his own eyes, especially towards people he cares about. He has a superiority complex; Kinatama believes that if he cannot protect people on his own power, he is not worthy of being a ninja. He constantly burdens himself with dangerous or arduous tasks without thinking about consequences or even asking for help. He also cannot help but let authoritative power go to his head.

 

Bio/Family: Kinatama is the top ninja in the Mottoyoi Clan. A child prodigy, he started off as a weakling who couldn't bear the weight of extreme conditioning that each Mottoyoi went through even at an early age. However, after a rouge ninja kidnapped him and killed both his parents after they went after him, he blamed himself and directed his inner rage into becoming the warrior that his Clan wanted him to be. Now he strives to become the Hokage of the Hidden Leaf, in order to make sure that that mistake will not be made twice upon the residents of his village. Koukon Yougan has been his rival/best friend ever since he can remember.

It was like any other day, but things were definitely different to him; today was the day that he would officially become a genin and become part of a four-man cell. He grinned; he never had any doubt that he'd make it, since he was one of the best in his class. He was glad that his three friends in the class; Haruka Yougan, Kinatama Mottoyoi and Hikari Uzumaki, were able to pass too. He hoped that he'd be in the same cell with at least one of them, but wouldn't mind being with someone new. He looked around the room at everyone else, trying to decide if anyone would be worth teaming up with. He looked over to the seat next to him, occupied by Kinatama, and whispered, "You think we're going to be on the same team?"

That goes for string bean, Haruka and Hikari too... they may be my bestest pals but... Kinatama quickly looked at the desk below him... Like I said, I'm no babysitter. Besides they can handle themselves... right?

The others had better be prepared for my way of getting business done! The young shinobi thought to himself. After that thought, the room went silent, as Sakura Haruno, the academy teacher, stepped to the front of the room.

 

"Welcome everyone, and thanks for coming today! I'm sure that you all know why you're here; to officially graduate from the academy, and join your new teams!" Sakura smiled at the group in front of her, proud of them. This was the best class she'd ever taught, and she thanked herself for this. Of course, many of them were from powerful clans, as well. She continued speaking for a while, then went on to list off teams. Eventually, she finally reached the final group of three: "Koukon Yougan, Itachi Uchiha, and Kinatama Mottoyoi. You three will be Team 10." She handed the three their headbands, which were emblazoned with the symbol of the Village Hidden in the Leaves: A log with a leaf hanging off of the side. "Your sensei is currently giving a mission report to the Hokage, and will be here in an hour or so. Report back then to meet with your sensei." Sakura informed the team. "Now then..." The teacher seemed a little teary eyed, still proud of her students. "Do the village proud!" She dismissed herself from the room, and the students all began to get up and meet with their teams.

Anyways, yeah, he's Sakura Sensei's and Sasuke's son," Kinatama confirmed, now looking for Itachi himself, and also ignoring Koukon's comment about girls. That guy needs to keep his eyes on the prize instead of on the ladies, he thought. "Oh hey, here he comes now," Kinatama said, as Itachi came up to them. He said a few words that were brief and cutting as he then walked straight out of the room. Kinatama sighed. "Great. Another Uchiha with a stick up his ass..."

After all, he shouldn't leave his comrade hanging like that. It'd be as nice as the Itachi kid doing what he did a few minutes ago.

Itachi looked back as he was about to exit the Academy, and saw Kinatama and Koukon racing towards the exit side by side, one pushing the other, about to crash into him. He then sighed. This is just what i figured, they're just foolish children. Not that the other classmates were much better though. As they were about to reach him, Itachi put out both his arms and the duo ran into each one and fell back on their asses.

"Are you guys really going to keep up with that attitude? I've heard you both dreaming about becoming stronger in your coversations in class, but if you're going to act like that all the way, you might aswell just quit right now." He looked away to the exit. "I guess i'll wait for you guys at the training area in the forest." He left the building and made his way into the forest.

"That damn bastard! He's really pissing me the--... grr!" Kinatama punched the ground, trying to compose himself. He sighed. "Remind me not to kill him when we catch up to him at the grounds," Kinatama added, getting up and walking next to Koukon, trying hard not to unleash a wave of pain unto the smug stick-up-the-ass Itachi in front of them.

Koukon sighed. "Same here, but we've apparently got to wait an hour... Why the heck did Sakura-sensei choose someone who would be getting back from a mission around this time, anyway?" He was a little frustrated with not only his new sensei, but his academy sensei as well.

"Whoever he or she is, they'd better be ready to take on somebody of my caliber. I'm not even gonna let a full on Jounin slow me down," Kinatama replied coarsely, running down a mental list of all the possible people who could be their sensei. His most prominent candidates included the ninja from the prominent "Hidden Leaf Eleven", an ensemble of ninja that were considered Lord Hokage's closest comrades back in his day, ranging from the odd yet proficient Taijutsu specialist Rock Lee, to the Man Best of the Leaf, the Inuzuka Clan heir Kiba Inuzuka, even to the rotund and powerful Choji Akimichi of the Akimichi Clan. His first option was his favorite, as Rock Lee, as well as his master before him Might Gai, was a great influence on the Mottoyoi Clan's signature ninja technique, the God Gates, an advanced form of Lees' and Gai's Inner Gates. His last option was probably his least favorite; the Mottoyoi Clan and the Akimichi Clan were rivals who greatly disagreed with their own respective fighting styles. The Mottoyoi mocked the Akimichi's Calorie Control methods of storing chakra in fat, while the Akimichi argued against the Mottoyoi's strict muscle building regime of the God Gates.

"Were you paying attention to anything Sakura-sensei said? She told us to go to the academy in an hour to meet our new sensei." Koukon answered, still frustrated with Itachi's behavior towards him. "Why the heck did you tell us to meet you here, anyway?" He asked.Meanwhile, at the academy, Sakura sat at her desk, looking at the files for the newly graduated shinobi. She heard footsteps behind her, and turned to see someone had entered. "Oh, you're back already?" She asked, handing over three of the files to the person.Yep, the briefing went faster than I expected." A female voice responded."Alright! That's your team. I think that Koukon and Kinatama would be best off with your teaching style." Sakura informed the jounin."Your son, too?" The female voice sounded surprised. "You sure you trust me with him? This is my first time instructing a group of genin, and-""I assigned him to you because I trust you." Sakura smiled. "I heard they were going to the training grounds, you should meet them there." The female left, heading towards the training grounds.(Sorry about any typos, I write this on my phone.)
