(I swear, this is my fourth Naruto roleplay... Anyway, here we go!)

 

The tale of the Fourth Great Ninja War is one of the most well-known in the shinobi world: Ending in a victory for the Allied Shinobi Force, it allowed for mutual respect and peace between the five great nations of the land. After the war, Naruto Uzumaki, a young jinchuriki who greatly influenced the outcome of the war, was elected as Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village. Since then, the ninja from the war have settled into a much more peaceful lifestyle. Now, in the next generation of the village, the peace is being threatened by a new group. Can the next generation have the same success as the previous one?

 

My character:

 

 

Name: Koukon Yougan

 

Age: 13

 

Appearance: Koukon wears a standard Konoha headband across his forehead. He has medium length black hair, which partially obscures his headband. He commonly wears a red hoodie and blue shorts.

 

Gender: Male

 

Personality: Koukon is a bit of a class clown, constantly making jokes and teasing his friends. He's actually very determined to do his best, and will rarely back down from a situation. He's friendly towards those who he gets to know, and can be jokingly sarcastic towards friends at times. He's also got a soft spot for girls...

 

Bio/Family Heritage: Koukon is the heir to the Yougan clan, a prestigious clan known for its expertise with fire style jutsu. The clan was known to even rival the Uchiha in this field. Koukon was expected to be one of the greatest clan members in years, and went through quite a bit of harsh training to get to this point. However, he never got down about it, and always looked on the bright side: Impressing the ladies with his talent. He was also close friends with the Hokage's daughter growing up, along with being rivals with Kinatama Mottoyoi. He graduated from the academy at the top of the class, despite being a clown most of the time.

Appearance: Yumi has long red hair, a trademark of the Uzumaki clan. When she's on a mission, or training with her students, she typically wears the standard Leaf shinobi uniform, with the Konoha headband on her forehead. Otherwise, she usually wears an orange t-shirt and blue jeans.

 

Gender: Female

 

Personality: Around her students, or when in a mission, Yumi is typically serious, and acts encouraging towards her teammates. She can often be quieter in battles, due to focusing on analyzing her opponents moves. However, when with her friends, she's more laid back and carefree. This sometimes leaks out around her team, although it doesn't bother her too much when this happens.

 

Bio/Family Heritage: Yumi is a member of the Uzumaki clan, which has become a much smaller clan since the destruction of the Land of Eddies. She was born after her mother, Karin, retired from her position as a shinobi due to guilt for helping rogue ninja. Yumi decided to take on her mother's legacy as a shinobi, and trained hard in order to fill the gap her mother left. She graduated from the Academy at the age of 8, and became a Chunin at the age of 10. She became a Jonin at the young age of 13. She spent the next 4 years as a Jonin, managing to become equal with the likes of shinobi decades older than her. Yumi has an incredible talent for analysis, rivaling even Shikamaru Nara's ability. She is also well-trained in Genjutsu and Ninjutsu, as well as being proficient in Taijutsu. She is often compared to prodigies such as Kakashi Hatake and Itachi Uchiha, and many believe that she has the potential to become the Seventh Hokage.

Hikari

 

"Right." Hikari followed what Shogo did, making her attacks far more effective. She knocked back two rogue shinobi who were trying to attack Shogo from behind, then used her Air Palm on another one.

 

Yumi

 

"There are too many..." Yumi muttered. The group was now surrounded. She scanned the surrounding area, noticing what seemed to be a pond not too far away. That should be enough... "Everyone, get ready! I'm going to end this here! Koukon, Hikari, Lee-sensei. Lead the others back into the hideout." She formed a few new hand seals. "Water Style: Great Wave Jutsu!" She shouted. The pond's water began to rise, forming a large wave. Koukon and the others managed to retreat to the hideout just as the wave crashed down on the rogue shinobi, wiping them all out. "Well... That solves that." Yumi sighed. "It's safe to come out now." She told the others.

 

Kinatama / Ryuichi / Shogo

 

"Hey wait, I'm second in command! I want to-" The young ninja cut his outcry short as Koukon and Hikari starting herding the others away into the hideout. Kinatama grit his teeth and followed the others. 

 

(Yumi clears the area)

 

"That was amazing, Yumi Sensei!" Ryuichi cried.

 

"Very impressive," Shogo commented.

 

"And it was especially great of Koukon and Hikari to lead us into the hideout. That was most brave."

 

Kinatama grit his teeth even harder then before. I go from leading an attack plan to being demoted to a guy that has to "stay out of the way". What the hell is that?! I would have led everybody into safety just as fine! I mean... I wouldn't screw it up, that is. Not in a time like this. Kinatama kept his gaze to the ground, his fists balled and his teeth still grit in anger, softening a little into a frown after his later thoughts.

"... Yeah." Koukon sighed, and began walking back to the meeting point for the two teams. Ugh... All I've been doing is screwing up, ever since I became a genin! I screwed up on the training mission... I was useless in our first mission... and I almost hurt Hikari this time... Can't I do anything right? Now Kinatama's mad at me, too...

Koukon/Hikari

 

Hikari glared at Itachi. "Did you really have to put it that way?" She put her hand on Kinatama's shoulder to try to calm him down. "Hey, don't worry about it. You helped out Taka in the enemy's base, and helped us out a lot up here. We would have been in a lot of trouble if you hadn't come when you did." She smiled. "Right, Koukon?"

 

"... Yeah." Koukon sighed, and began walking back to the meeting point for the two teams. Ugh... All I've been doing is screwing up, ever since I became a genin! I screwed up on the training mission... I was useless in our first mission... and I almost hurt Hikari this time... Can't I do anything right? Now Kinatama's mad at me, too...

Itachi chuckled at Hikari's comment. "Yeah, i guess you're right. I could've put it more politely."

 

He looked towards Koukon and saw him sighing. "So, you ok? You seem pretty..........emoish right now. And that's supposed to be my shtick." He then thought to himself. Am i hearing myself right? I sound like an idiot now. Huh, i've been spending way too much time with these losers. Eh, at least it hasn't been too bad.

Koukon/Hikari

Even my father made some huge mistakes despite how level headed he was....Er, or he was before he got obsessed with revenge. My point is, I want to help you."

"I know that no one's perfect, but I nearly ended up attacking my own friend this time! Not to mention that I've screwed up every single mission that we've taken together... I can't do anything right." He sighed.

 

Hikari

 

Hikari smiled. "Alright, good to know!" She looked over at Koukon and Itachi, and sighed. "We should probably help cheer up Koukon, too... I hope Itachi's not doing anything to make things worse."

Itachi shook his head. "You haven't screwed up everything. You just got a bit unlucky. It happens sometimes. You'll get your chance, i'm sure of it. You just have to wait for the right moment."

Hikari started to follow Kinatama over to Koukon, but overheard some of their conversation. "Hold on, Kinatama..." She stopped. "I want to see where this is going..." It doesn't look like Itachi's trying to make things worse... It actually looks like he's trying to help...

Koukon

 

"I can't afford to wait, though... I want to be a hero, like the old Pervy Sage. If I keep screwing up like this, I'll never get there..." Koukon sighed. "If all I ever do is fail, I'm never going to improve."

 

Hikari

 

Hikari started to follow Kinatama over to Koukon, but overheard some of their conversation. "Hold on, Kinatama..." She stopped. "I want to see where this is going..." It doesn't look like Itachi's trying to make things worse... It actually looks like he's trying to help...

Itachi smirked. "So that's your goal. You want to be a hero? Huh. Well, you have to hope you're part of some prophecy like the Hokage then." He turned away. "That, or you could try forging your own fate and try to think out your actions before you act on that. Impulsive actions usually aren't the best."

Come on guys, the others are probably waiting for us! Let's hurry up!" He began running, trying to think up some new plans. Next time, I'll show everyone that I'm serious about being a ninja!

 

Hikari

"Heh. Come on Itachi, don't pester Hyugamaki like that. I mean, she and String Bean? I doubt it," Kinatama said. "But anyways, let's get mobile!" Kinatama cried, following Koukon.

 

"Come on Shogo, let us follow the others!" Ryuichi said, with only a grunt coming from Shogo in response as they both ran in sync with their teammates.

Hikari

 

Hikari glared at Kinatama. "I've told you not to call me that!" She shouted at the genin, then chased after him and Koukon, still blushing.

 

Yumi/Lee

 

Yumi watched her students, and laughed. It seems like the three are all starting to get along... I knew that they'd eventually learn to trust each other. It looks like Lee-sensei's students are growing, too... Looks like this generation's going to be really interesting.

 

Lee seemed to be crying. "Yes, go on my students! Go on with the power of youth!" He gave them all a thumbs up, then continued to chase after them. Yumi followed after them, too.

 

 

 

Kiyoshi

 

"Tenshi, stop!" Kiyoshi tried to stop him, but failed. "Come on Banken, we need to stop him!" She shouted, then chased after Tenshi.

 

Inoue

 

"Alright, here's my excuse! Yo, Tenshi, slow down and wait for the expert!" He chased after Tenshi, managing to catch up to him quickly.

Tenshi got out his sword and quickly started knocking people away with the butt of his sword. Then he quickly ran up to one of the ninja and knocked him into the air, quickly punchign and kicking him in the chest 5 times and rushing to the ground immediately and held his fist up for the ninja to fall on, and let him fall to the ground. "Did you see that Kiyoshi? Wasn't i awesome?

 

Banken

 

Banken facepalmed. "Damn it Tenshi, at a time like this all you can do is SHOW OFF? You idiot." He quickly rushed towards him.

Kiyoshi

 

"It would have been better if you just hadn't done this in the first place..." Kiyoshi shot a fireball jutsu at a group of ninja, then sighed. "Now we're in a lot of trouble, Tenshi!" She kicked another rogue ninja.

Chosan

 

"Inoue wait!" Chosan cried, catching up to his brother and tugging on his arm. "Don't rush in, remember? We need to think this through! We're a team, brother! The third InoShikaCho team! Right, Shikana?" the pudgy boy remarked, turning to his more calm female teammate.

 

Fujiri

 

"Tenshi, Banken, Kiyoshi, stay together and work as a team!" Fujiri sternly commanded, drawing forth his bugs once more to circle around the shinobi making haste against his students. "Hidden Jutsu: Bug Sphere!" He said, shooting orbs made up of his bugs at various rouges and hitting them all dead center.

Inoue

 

"Oh, come on, Chosan! You and Shikana will just slow me down!" Inoue began to protest. "Why'd I have to get stuck with you two anyway? I'd do way better on my own!" He tried to run off, forgetting his brother was gripping his arm.

 

Kiyoshi

 

"Right, Fujiri-sensei!" Kiyoshi nodded, and managed to get closer to Tenshi and Banken. "We have to listen to Fujiri-sensei, Tenshi! If we don't work together, we'll die!" She pulled out a kunai, and blocked a few shuriken that were thrown at her.
