(I swear, this is my fourth Naruto roleplay... Anyway, here we go!)

 

The tale of the Fourth Great Ninja War is one of the most well-known in the shinobi world: Ending in a victory for the Allied Shinobi Force, it allowed for mutual respect and peace between the five great nations of the land. After the war, Naruto Uzumaki, a young jinchuriki who greatly influenced the outcome of the war, was elected as Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village. Since then, the ninja from the war have settled into a much more peaceful lifestyle. Now, in the next generation of the village, the peace is being threatened by a new group. Can the next generation have the same success as the previous one?

 

My character:

 

 

Name: Koukon Yougan

 

Age: 13

 

Appearance: Koukon wears a standard Konoha headband across his forehead. He has medium length black hair, which partially obscures his headband. He commonly wears a red hoodie and blue shorts.

 

Gender: Male

 

Personality: Koukon is a bit of a class clown, constantly making jokes and teasing his friends. He's actually very determined to do his best, and will rarely back down from a situation. He's friendly towards those who he gets to know, and can be jokingly sarcastic towards friends at times. He's also got a soft spot for girls...

 

Bio/Family Heritage: Koukon is the heir to the Yougan clan, a prestigious clan known for its expertise with fire style jutsu. The clan was known to even rival the Uchiha in this field. Koukon was expected to be one of the greatest clan members in years, and went through quite a bit of harsh training to get to this point. However, he never got down about it, and always looked on the bright side: Impressing the ladies with his talent. He was also close friends with the Hokage's daughter growing up, along with being rivals with Kinatama Mottoyoi. He graduated from the academy at the top of the class, despite being a clown most of the time.

Appearance: Yumi has long red hair, a trademark of the Uzumaki clan. When she's on a mission, or training with her students, she typically wears the standard Leaf shinobi uniform, with the Konoha headband on her forehead. Otherwise, she usually wears an orange t-shirt and blue jeans.

 

Gender: Female

 

Personality: Around her students, or when in a mission, Yumi is typically serious, and acts encouraging towards her teammates. She can often be quieter in battles, due to focusing on analyzing her opponents moves. However, when with her friends, she's more laid back and carefree. This sometimes leaks out around her team, although it doesn't bother her too much when this happens.

 

Bio/Family Heritage: Yumi is a member of the Uzumaki clan, which has become a much smaller clan since the destruction of the Land of Eddies. She was born after her mother, Karin, retired from her position as a shinobi due to guilt for helping rogue ninja. Yumi decided to take on her mother's legacy as a shinobi, and trained hard in order to fill the gap her mother left. She graduated from the Academy at the age of 8, and became a Chunin at the age of 10. She became a Jonin at the young age of 13. She spent the next 4 years as a Jonin, managing to become equal with the likes of shinobi decades older than her. Yumi has an incredible talent for analysis, rivaling even Shikamaru Nara's ability. She is also well-trained in Genjutsu and Ninjutsu, as well as being proficient in Taijutsu. She is often compared to prodigies such as Kakashi Hatake and Itachi Uchiha, and many believe that she has the potential to become the Seventh Hokage.

"And like i told you loser, i won't let you ruin my chances of becoming the strongest." He quickly closed his eyes and opened them slowly. "Sharingan." He muttered under his breath. 

 

As a ninja tried to stab Kinatama from behind while he talked to Itachi, Itachi's Sharingan slowed his speed down in his eyes and he quickly dashed behind to kick the ninja in the stomach sending him flying. "I won't take you lightly, as long as you treat me the same."

 

Kinatama

 

"Whatever, hotshot," Kinatama said. He then started taking out more rouge ninja, left and right, almost as if he was competing with Itachi to see how many enemies he could take out. The tension between the two clan members was defiently heating up on Kinatama's end. He felt even more resolve to better Itachi at that moment than he usually had for Chosan and even Koukon.

Taka

 

"Hmph... You two shouldn't be here. It's too dangerous, let us handle this." Sasuke commanded the two genin, only realizing afterwards what they were doing. Wow... They're actually holding up well. I could expect that from an Uchiha, but... A Mottoyoi as well?

 

"Hey, looks like the kid's just as cold and bloodthirsty as you were when you were a kid." Suigetsu joked with his teammate.

 

"Hm... He's pretty tough, alright." Sasuke nodded. "Anyway, I say it's time for us to get serious... Kids, you might want to watch out..." Sasuke's eye began to bleed...

Kinatama

 

"Whatever, hotshot," Kinatama said. He then started taking out more rouge ninja, left and right, almost as if he was competing with Itachi to see how many enemies he could take out. The tension between the two clan members was defiently heating up on Kinatama's end. He felt even more resolve to better Itachi at that moment than he usually had for Chosan and even Koukon.

Itachi quickly jumped from enemy to another, quickly bringing down one after the other. He felt like he had to prove that he was the strongest of the team, and that Kinatama would need more than just willpower to surpass him. Plus, he wanted to prove to his father how strong he was, and that he wouldn't end up like his brother. Not that quickly.

 

Taka

 

"Hmph... You two shouldn't be here. It's too dangerous, let us handle this." Sasuke commanded the two genin, only realizing afterwards what they were doing. Wow... They're actually holding up well. I could expect that from an Uchiha, but... A Mottoyoi as well?

Itachi looked alarm as his father prepared the attack. Damn, it's that serious? I hope that loser isn't stupid enough to get caught.

 

He quickly did a high backflip to land behind his father.

Bleeding from the eyes... wait... that's the Amaterasu isn't it?! Kinatama thought. Hmm... Kinatama quickly made himself scarce, ducking back to a safe distance from his raven haired senior.

Taka

 

"Amaterasu!" Suddenly, a large, black flame engulfed the group of rogue ninja who the Konoha shinobi had been fighting. Screams of pain rang out through the area, barely audible through the roaring fire.

 

"Heh... I didn't think that you'd go that far, Sasuke." Suigetsu laughed. "Guess you really wanted to keep your kid and his friend safe, huh?"

 

"I won't let these genin get into any more danger..." Sasuke replied, turning back towards Kinatama and Itachi. "Are you two okay?"

 

Jugo deactivated his curse mark form, and along with Suigetsu, studied the two genin. They're quite powerful for such low ranking shinobi... I suppose it is true that the new generation will always surpass the previous one.

Taka

Itachi nodded. "Yes father, we're fine." He turned to Kinatama. "I'm surprised you rushed out here to fight, considering how smart and strategic you claim to be. Even when our sensei told us not to fight, you went anyway. Why?"

Kinatama

 

"I already said why. I wanna be Hokage!" Kinatama said. "And I'll take any chance to get to that level, even if I have to fight side by side with Red Eye and his group to do so," Kinatama added, eyeing the raven haired Jonin.

Itachi scoffed. "Fair enough then." He turned to his father. "So how long have you guys been following us anyway?"

"We just got here, actually... We had just returned from a mission, and the Hokage asked us to specifically follow your group. Something about him being worried that his daughter's absent-minded boyfriend would do something stupid and put you all in danger..." Sasuke answered.

 

"Well, that was Hikari and a boy who had rushed in first by the looks of it..." Jugo muttered.

 

Suigetsu sighed. "Leave it to Lord Hokage to be able to figure that out."

Taka

 

"We just got here, actually... We had just returned from a mission, and the Hokage asked us to specifically follow your group. Something about him being worried that his daughter's absent-minded boyfriend would do something stupid and put you all in danger..." Sasuke answered.

 

"Well, that was Hikari and a boy who had rushed in first by the looks of it..." Jugo muttered.

Itachi smirked. "Yeah, that kid is a real idiot. Still, i was surprised Hikari went with him, but they are good friends after all."

Yumi/Koukon/Hikari/Lee

 

 

While Taka fought their enemies, Team Yumi had to deal with their own opponents. Shortly after they regrouped, a few rogue shinobi surrounded the group.

 

"Looks like Mr. Suigetsu was right... There were more than he'd thought, though." Yumi muttered, forming a few handseals. "If things get bad, I'll warn you to get away from here, everyone. When I say that, clear a path for the genin, Lee."

 

"I will put my life on the line to protect these children!" Lee gave Yumi a thumbs up. "Let us show these ninja the power of youth, Ryuichi!"

 

"I can take these guys all out on my own!" Koukon formed a few handseals. "Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!" He shot a fireball at a few of the shinobi, catching two in the blast.

 

Hikari activated her Byakugan. I can't look weak when Koukon's fighting... "Gentle Fist technique!" She targeted the chakra points of some other shinobi, blocking their chakra flow.

Ryuichi

 

(in response) "Yes Dad Sensei!" The young green clad ninja replied, getting in his taijutsu stance. Seeing his spot, he charged in on a group of rouges and easily dispatched them with a flurry of punches and kicks. "Strong Fist: Hurricane Kick!" He cried out as he finished off the last rouge, a giant hulk of a man, with a powerful roundhouse to the ribs. He then saw two more rouges trying to take him from behind. Ryuichi dispatched of them after backflipping over the two by throwing a couple of paper bomb kunais at them. The explosions blew them far away.

 

Shogo

 

(Watching Hikari) It seems the Hyuga and Uzumaki heiress is progressing quite well. Shogo thought as he readied his own Byakugan and faced off against some rouges. "I may only have one hand to use, but my Gentle Fist will still prevail," He said to himself as he poked and stabbed every rouge that got in his way in their chakra points with the tips of his fingers. He then ducked under a kick from a rouge and swayed back, performing seals with only one hand. "Water Style: Water Bullet Jutsu!" he cried, spitting a torrent of water at the rouge and knocking him out. Wiping his mouth, he thought: And my Gentle Fist isn't my only weapon either... isn't that right, Lady Hikari? He snuck at glance at his cousin, remembering that she had other tricks up her sleeve as well. Tricks that might be more powerful then his.

Ugh, they're all doing way better than I am... I can't be the weakest one here! "Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!" He shot a few small fireballs out from his mouth, all of which circled around and hit random enemies, with some hitting the ground. One shot right over Hikari's head, startling the Uzumaki clan member.

 

Hikari

 

Hikari shrieked for a moment as the fireball soared over her head, then turned around to glare at her clumsy friend. "What the heck was that for?! You just almost killed me!" She shouted.

 

"Er... Sorry..." Koukon quickly apologized, looking mad at himself for screwing up yet again. Every time I have a shot at proving my strength, something goes wrong...

 

"Anyway... Eight Trigrams Air Palm!" Hikari shot a blast of air at another rogue ninja, knocking him back into one of his teammates.

Kinatama

 

Wonder how Koukon and the others are holding up, Kinatama randomly thought as he continued to fight back against the rouges. He said as he rammed his Lightning fist through one of the men, while using his Super strength to knock another away right afterwards. Damn, there are alot of them. How much longer until we reach that idiot and our sensei?

He shouted, as he used his katana to slash through a few rogue shinobi. Eventually, the five were greeted by a bright light as they exited the cave.

"Sasuke! Jugo! Suigetsu!" Yumi shouted in delight, happy to see the three unharmed. She also noticed her other two students with them. "Oh, Kinatama and Itachi! Are you two okay?" She kicked at a shinobi who was trying to attack her, and punched another.

"Took you all long enough. A little help would be appreciated." The genin seemed angry at Kinatama and Itachi for leaving their group, especially since Taka could handle their situation alone. "Maybe if you were here to help, I wouldn't have almost been fried by Koukon."

Kinatama / Ryuichi / Shogo

 

"Let's jet!" Kinatama quipped, as he and the others exited the cave.

 

(Meets up with Team Yumi and Team Lee)

 

"Don't worry, Yumi Sensei, we're fine," Kinatama confirmed. "On your left!" He then yelled, quickly jumping up and Superman punching a rouge ninja that almost attacked Yumi, landing directly in front of his sensei with his back turned and standing tall. "I've proved my point in the cave, and I'll keep proving that point as long as I can!" Kinatama added, flashing a smile and a thumbs up to his sensei over his shoulder.

 

"Whoo hoo!" Ryuichi cheered. "Kinatama is truly living in the Springtime of Youth! I am amazed at his abilities!" He said to Shogo at his right.

 

"Well, he surely does show that he is talented... though I still consider him to be a fool," Shogo responded rather pessimistically.

 

"Hey, I heard that, One Arm!" Kinatama called to his pale eyed teammate, causing him to growl and look away from the blue clad Genin.

 

"And Koukon, Hikari," Kinatama then said, turning to his teammates. "I did what I felt was right. And besides... if you really did need my help, I'd be there for you. Always remember that."

Itachi quickly jumped over another Rogue Ninja heading towards them and took him out by throwing his kunai at his back and paralyzing him for the time being.

 

"Hey i just ran off because this idiot thought he could handle the Rogue Ninja by himself. I wanted to make sure he didn't get himself killed in the meantime. But i guess i was wrong, he's actually competent enough to be fine on his own. Hmph, guess i just wasted my time." He quickly punched out another Rogue Ninja with his super strength by hitting him straight in the stomach and sending him flying.

Koukon/Hikari

 

Koukon and Hikari were silent, not having expected Kinatama to say what he'd said. "Uh... Right." Hikari nodded. He might just be a muscleheaded idiot sometimes, but I forgot just how much he cares about us... I suppose I could say the same about Koukon, too. Maybe I'm being too hard on those two... After all, they've both done so much for me...

 

"Yeah, whatever." Koukon was trying to act tough, but he felt thankful, too. He might be annoying, but he's a good teammate. Definitely a better one than I am... He kicked back a ninja that was running towards him, then shot a fireball directly towards the rogue.

 

Yumi

 

Hm... Looks like Kinatama can be really mature when he needs to be. I can tell that Koukon's happy he's here, too... I guess I won't have as much trouble with those two as I thought I would.

Koukon/Hikari

"Everyone! We need to drive these guys off together! Ryuichi, Itachi! Team with Shogo and Hikari! The Hyugas will focus on blocking chakra points to prevent them from using ninjutsu so the super strength users can drive them back with all they got! Koukon, you're with me and Sensei! We'll use our long range ninjutsu to keep all the guys that keep springing up from all over the place from even stepping on the battlefield! Yumi Sensei and Lee Sensei, what do you think?" He concluded, turning to his superiors.

Itachi nodded. "Alright Kinatama, whatever you say." He quickly rushed towards the ninja and quickly punched a rogue ninja in the face and did a drop kick on one that was running up to him from behind. "I could use some backup now."

Itachi nodded. "Alright Kinatama, whatever you say." He quickly rushed towards the ninja and quickly punched a rogue ninja in the face and did a drop kick on one that was running up to him from behind. "I could use some backup now."

 

Ryuichi

 

"That is where I come in, Itachi!" Ryuichi proclaimed. "Strong Fist: Hurricane Fist!" Ryuichi added, punching through several rouges. "Strong Fist: Hurricane Kick!" He then cried, delivering one single roundhouse to one ninja and sending him into a large crowd of others. "Do not worry, Itachi! I have your back!" Ryuichi said as he landed next to his fellow Leaf ninja, giving him a wink and a thumbs up. "Remember, Kinatama wants us to attack the enemies that Shogo and Hikari have weakened with their Gentle Fist! We must back them up as well!"

 

Shogo

 

"Hmph. Miss Hikari, follow my lead," Shogo instructed, protecting his cousin from two rouges that attempted to attack her from behind. "Our Byakugan and Gentle Fist will work better if we are in sync," Shogo added. "It was a form that I believe your mother, Miss Hinata, shared with our uncle Neji," He then stood behind Hikari with his battle stance readied as rouge ninja started to surround them. "Also, what Ryuichi said was correct. It would be foolish to go against this form of action."

 

Kinatama

 

"Okay, let's rock and roll!" Kinatama quipped, blowing through hand seals. "Earth Style: Stone Shot!" He cried, shooting various shards of earth at the surrounding rouges, knocking them out of the air and off of trees.

Itachi nodded. "Understood." He bumped his fists together. "Lets move." He ran over towards the 2 ninja that Shogo was attacking, and quickly focused Chakra into his  fist and elbow. He punched one ninja, while he elbowed the other one. "Shogo's right Hikari, it'd be more effective for you two to work together so we can get through this easier."

"Right." Hikari followed what Shogo did, making her attacks far more effective. She knocked back two rogue shinobi who were trying to attack Shogo from behind, then used her Air Palm on another one.

 

Yumi

 

"There are too many..." Yumi muttered. The group was now surrounded. She scanned the surrounding area, noticing what seemed to be a pond not too far away. That should be enough... "Everyone, get ready! I'm going to end this here! Koukon, Hikari, Lee-sensei. Lead the others back into the hideout." She formed a few new hand seals. "Water Style: Great Wave Jutsu!" She shouted. The pond's water began to rise, forming a large wave. Koukon and the others managed to retreat to the hideout just as the wave crashed down on the rogue shinobi, wiping them all out. "Well... That solves that." Yumi sighed. "It's safe to come out now." She told the others.
