Introduction

Kairi's P.O.V

A starry night, on the beach. Summer was coming! Finally, a whole 12 weeks of fun~! Maybe I will even get my first boyfriend! I am so lame, I turned 15 last month and I haven't even gotten kissed! I can't say the same for my sister Namine though... ANYWAY! I am not making this summer about her though. Last year it was, this year, for me it's about me! NOT her! Well, then again, I need to be the-

"Kairi!" Sora said, with his handing waving in my face. "Kairi, what's on your mind?" he asked.

I looked up at him and smiled "Oh nothing, I was just thinking what a summer it will be!," I rolled my eyes "And praying for not-so-much drama." I finished.

Sora nodded "Yeah, Namine went through so much wi-" Sora stopped with Namine walking over.

"Hey guys! Summer finally here!" she said, her smile big and wide.

I nodded "Yeah~ can't wait!"

Namine looked at Sora and I "what were you guys talking about?"

"Summer." we said at the same time, we sounded dead. Namine laughed, then we all did.

Aerith's P.O.V

I was finishing my shift at the Flower shop. I couldn't wait until tonight, Zack was finally coming home and we are throwing him a party! Man I cannot wait.

"Aerith, so Zack is coming back.." Someone said, I turned around to see who it was.

"Oh hi, Marluxia, and yes he is! I cannot wait! I haven't see him for 6 whole months! He said that he is coming home for good! That was his last mission for 4 years!"

Marluxia looked at me, I don't know why but he didn't like it when I talked about Zack...

"That's good, well you gotta go, your shift is over, bye." he said coldly.

I shook me head and looked at the time, it was the end. I took my apron off, checked out and ran to m house. He was finally coming home!

Chapter One: Summer's first day~

Kairi's P.o.V

Well, last night was awesome! Everyone saw Zack, we were all happy! But, one thing that surprised me was that Namine... she was all sad and couldn't look at anyone. Same with my parents... they couldn't look at anyone. What was going on? I told Sora this last night on a text at like 3pm. He said ask them. So right now, I am brushing my hair and applying my make-up.

"Kairi?" said a familiar voice. I turned to the dorr, it was Namine, I nodded she came in and closed the door.

"What's up?" I asked her, she look at me, her eyes were red. She had been crying,

"Nami, what's wrong?" I said looking at her, she knew I wanted an answer.

"Well, after I left you and Sora, when I came home. Here..." she stopped.

See, the thing is, my parents aren't the best. In fact me and Nami hide everything they do especially from Zack. They abuse us all the time. THis is when I got it. What she meant.

"Nami... did they? When I wasn't here?" I asked her.

She nodded and pulled up her sleeve, bruises, she pulled up her hair in a pony-tail position, a cigarette mark. That was my dad, my mom, she doesn't really do anything, just laugh.

"Kai, we gotta tell Zack, then we can-"

"Tell Zack?! Then what!? He's a SOLDIER, not a cop! No! We promised!" I yelled then I left. She followed

"Fine, but wait for me." she asked then I nodded

This is gonna be a long vacation huh?

DDD: That was sad

Namine's P.o.V

Well Kairi seems a little mad sitl. I don't see why she always gets mad when I say "We should tell someone". Maybe it's because... she still loves mo and dad? I've grown past 'Love' and now I am at despise.
"Nami... I'm sorry for yelling at you..." Kairi said while digging her feet into the sand.
"It's okay, I get it.. but, just don't leave me alone please." I replied looking down at my own feet. On the corner of my eye I saw Kairi look at the sea. I looked up at her and took my pinky out, and smiled, "Let's promise that we will always be there for eachother, not as sister, as friends." I said. Kiair smiled and took her pinky out
"Promise!"
