So I'm going to be buying and trying out my first Persona game, which is Persona 3 FES. But I have to ask, is there any pros and cons to this game that I should know about? I've been wanting to get into the Persona series for a while but never got around to buying any of the games and I see that Persona 3 is on the playstation store.

Pros: It's a great game and fun story is incredible the characters are all great

Cons: The only one I can really think of it's hard at some points in the game especially if you're not fallowing a walkthrough on how to max out all the Social Links and another con could be that it's really long like really really long but that's not so bad once you realize why it's so long

hope you have fun with it overall.

and the only extras in FES is that you get a kinda continuation of the story in The Answer and you get an extra social link as well and maybe some other extras but those are the main ones

Oh okay thanks. But what happens if I don't max out all the social links? Will I be underpowered against enemies or is it just part of playing through the game at 100%?

it's part of playing through the game to get 100% personas you can't get all the personas of the same type of arcana without maxing out the social link and you won't be underpowered you just wouldn't be able to get some peronas is all

It's a great game but if you have a PSP, get Persona 3 Portable. There's more playability with that game like playing as the Female Protagonist who has almost completely different Social Links. I got FES even though I have P3P was to play The Answer but also play the main game.

If you play it after playing through Persona 4, it leaves a lot to be desired

 

I suggest you play it before 4 if you're getting into the series

If they're merciful they won'tOr if they have some decency you can carry over the party's stats from 5 to the DLC episode instead of practically starting over again 50 levels weaker @.@

well most of the party members start at level 15 or something like that but you are right it is a real pain in the ass especially when you are at the last three doors so hard ugh and then you get those three bosses before the last boss who is actually somewhat easy I beat him at like level 75 should've been at a higher level but oh well but still it is bull but dose give closure to how the journey ended
