When you ask someone about Sephiroth's theme they'll always say One Winged Angel

 

But in fact Sephiroth's first theme that existed even before One Winged Angel was called "Those chosen by the Planet"

 

 

Which plays almost every time he appears in FFVII(aside from the final boss theme)

 

Heck even Square forgot about this theme in Crisis Core and Dissida as they never played that theme during cutscenes involving Sephiroth as they never made any remix of it and instead kept spamming One-Winged Angel

 

Don't get me wrong I love One Winged Angel so much but at least they should've remixed this theme for the sake of variety instead of putting One Winged Angel everywhere Sephiroth appears

You're right. One-Winged Angel isn't technically Sephiroth's theme song, anyway. But, I guess since Safer Sephiroth (a form of Sephiroth) was the final boss in FFVII, Square Enix wanted the most memorable battle theme of the game to be repeated in every reincarnation of Sephiroth, may it be the KH series or something else.

But other themes for Sephiroth like Birth of a god was also really good,at least they could've gave the Sephiroth superboss encounter in the KH series two phases,one with Birth of a god and the second phase with One Winged Angel

I guess the creators could have done that. But, wouldn't that mean there would have to be two seperate Sephiroth fights with different themes in a single game? Or do you mean have One-Winged Angel in one game and Birth of a God in another? :huh:

No,I mean a boss fight with two phases,think of it like the final battle with Ansem SoD or most final bosses in the Final Fantasy series
