Tails Reviews MGS5: Ground Zeroes

Posted

My official review of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. I warn you that this review may contain spoilers on the story. So anyway, on with the review.

Story:

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes takes place after the events of  Peace Walker and is a Prologe to Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain. I have to say, while the story was short it was still great. You can tell that Kojima really wanted you to fell despair and anguish with this game compared to the other MGS games. The story may be short, but it left a pretty strong impact on players.

Gameplay:

Like all the other Metal Gear Solid games, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes has fantastic stealth gameplay. Though I wish that MGSV: GZ had more camo outfits and not just the sneaking suit to make it feel even more like a stealth game like with MGS3 and MGS4. But other than that, the gameplay is great and I love the improved CQC.

Verdict:

I have to say, while the game is pretty short it has good replayability. After you've beaten the missions you will unlock the hard mode difficulty as well. Which gives hardcore MGS players like me a reason to go back and replay all the missions again. Plus, if you're a big MGS gfan than Ground Zeroes is a must-buy if you want more MGS goodness.

Overall Score: I give this game a score of 8/10.

So what are your thoughts on this review?

Regardless of how good it is,it's way too short for the 30$ price tag

I'll wait for a price drop
