Another ordinary day of school. Kurenai was walking home, deciding to go on her own. Having friends for a change was nice, but she wanted time to think. I need to find the right person to help me with... She was cut off after accidentally bumping into someone, ending up knocked over in the process. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" She apologized, pulling herself up. The man glared at her, and continued on his way. Ugh, people these days... I'll never find who I'm looking for. I hope he's had at least some luck by now...

Jaime stepped lively, moving at a high speed, dodging blows from the boys chasing him. He really didn't care if he were beat or not; not like they could kill him, the police would be on them in a lighting flash, and he had a high pain tolerance, it was his mother missing another day of work that was the main issue, so he ducked and dodged the kids as they advanced on him, eventually gaining a small lead before he accidentally knocked someone down. He wasn't too use to the language of the area he lived in, but he had gotten accustomed to yelling 'sorry' at this point. "S-sor-ry!" He yelled, the boys paying no attention to her, kept running after him, and he kept trying to gain the full lead.

"Hm... Wait, what's up with him...?" She thought, watching the incident unfold. Well, it wouldn't hurt to follow... Maybe he could be the one... She chased after the group, trying to stay back a bit so they wouldn't notice.

He was beat till he was bleeding from his forhead, the vicious attackers began to laugh as they walked away from heir victim. "Damn it!" He thought. "I want to be free to fight back!" He yelled, although Kurenai wouldn't have been able to tell what he said, because it was said in German. "Dammit Dammit damnit!" He thought, forcing himself to stand, he was however very badly brused and bloodied.

She stopped talking, leaving him room for an answer. I really hope he accepts... He looks like he has a lot of potential.

He'll probably be even more willing to take my offer! She held back a smirk. "Do you need any help? My name is Kurenai. I think you might be the one I'm looking for..." She stopped talking, leaving him room for an answer. I really hope he accepts... He looks like he has a lot of potential.

Jaime looked at the girl, and after a minute of deciphering what she was doing, he took some time to answer, but did his best. "I'm f-fine... l-looking... for...?" He sputtered.

He seems like a foreigner... Hm. "I'm looking for someone who's willing to help me. You see..." This is the most important part... The delivery. "I know a way that you can turn around this situation with the bullies. I know how you can change your entire world." She smiled a bit, trying to put him at ease.

Hayate sat in his room, reading one of the new novels he picked up from the local library. As he was reading, he split his thoughts into both reading the contents of the story and plot, and also thinking of several different strategies he would try out in the next few minutes.

 

That should be good. He simply thought to himself, putting the book down on his desk. The time had come. He stood up from his chair, and brought up his home menu. Scrolling through the projected images in front of him, he selected the program "Brain Burst". From there, a list of names popped up.

 

"Hmm.." Hayate selected a name, "Violet Falcon," and with that, he was thrown into a completely new setting. His room and house changed into a brisk and somewhat industrial area surrounded by a thick brown sky and damaged buildings. And now, instead of wearing normal clothes, he was adorned in a green suit of armor with a helmet stylized like a ninja's mask. He stood before another person wearing a purple suit of armor with a helmet that resembled a falcon.

 

Various holographic menus then materialized above the two, saying "Cadmium Limit VS Violet Faclon. BEGIN", with two bars underneath both of their nameplates.

Violet Falcon wasted no time and shot straight for Hayate. "Iron Wall", he said to himself. He brought up his arms in front of him and blocked several shots that Falcon tried to fire at him, but to no avail. Falcon eventually got tired and stopped throwing hits, too tired to move his arms anymore. Hayate capitilized and deactivated his Iron Wall, now throwing his own punches and kicks at Falcon. His last blow, an uppercut to the chin, sent him into the air and landing back on the ground with a thud.

 

"I figured a Level 5 would be harder for me. I guess not," Hayate said to himself, as the battle concluded, with a sceen saying "Winner: Cadmium Limit". Hayate, still clad in his armor, walked across the barren landscape, looking to see if more challenges would appear.

"If so we must hurry to home and wait out the... jerks...?" He grabbed the girl's wrist, and began running again. "They see you with me and you will get hurt badly." He muttered, dragging the girl along as fast as he could, hoping that they wouldn't see him with anyone and just figure he went home immediately today, but one of them spotted him. "I think it is good we almost there, but rush!" He yelled, the mob chasing after them. They eventually made it to the building he lived in, and he put in his door code to his floor, and they went through the door, into the near by elevator, and went up. "Sorry miss, but you weren't save." He said, riding the elevator, trying his best to try and stay concious, the adrenaline dying out. Edited May 2, 2014 by Guest

Hm... That kid looks pretty good. Maybe I should go over and see him. A large, muscular man in blue armor jumped off the top of a nearby building, landing near Cadmium Limit. "Hey there, I was just watching your match. You've got a lot of potential, kid." He complimented the fighter. "I'm Blue Ape. I'd highly advise against trying to challenge me right now... It wouldn't be very wise to take on a King." He laughed. However, if you wouldn't mind... I'd like to talk to you for a moment."

While being curteous on the outside, he hid a slight suspicion on the inside; why would a King, a Level 9 fighter, want to talk to a Level 4 player like him? Especially out of the blue (no pun intended) when they do not even know each other in any way, not even IRL? It was a little fishy, but Hayate simply wanted to know what would happen, so he went along with it.

Jaime sighed, and the door to the small apartment opened, and a big, German woman picked both the girl and her son up and plopped thme on the couch. After what seemed like arguing for a moment between him and his mother in German, before she sighed and shook her head, and he turned to the girl. "I explained, my mother wants me to find food for myself tonight before she go in for more work after hours." Jaime said, the German woman looked at her son, said something in German, then left. "We speak now then I guess? I was saying before that I would want know more, tell me?"

No Burst Points will be lost if you lose a battle, and the winner will get 100 additional Burst Points. Well... I think you have some potential, kid. So, I think you should enter!" He suggested. "Of course, if you want, I'd be okay with helping you practice a bit."

Jamie grabbed the cable. "Here cable link means close relationship, yes?" Jamie asked barley, plugging the chord in.

And if necessary, he'd be prepared for any complications that might arise from that...

Jamie looked over to the clock in the corner of his eyes. "Too late, they're already home, I would assume, it is decently late." Jamie muttered. "Do you have to be home soon? I would hate to keep you from getting home and being yelled at." He thought to her.

Hm... There goes the more fun option. Kurenai sighed. No, my parents won't care if I get home late. Besides, I need to teach you to use the other features. Do you have time to do that now, or would you rather wait until we can teach those jerks a lesson? She asked Jaime.

 

"I see. Let's begin then," Hayate said, backing up a few feet from Blue Ape and getting himself ready to fight. He decided to wait on the blue clad man to attack first, so he could read his movements and figure out his weaknesses.

"Heh, you're letting me move first? You've got guts, kid. I like that." Blue Ape held his fist back, and it began to glow red. He charged towards Hayate, preparing for a powerful punch attack.
