Another ordinary day of school. Kurenai was walking home, deciding to go on her own. Having friends for a change was nice, but she wanted time to think. I need to find the right person to help me with... She was cut off after accidentally bumping into someone, ending up knocked over in the process. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" She apologized, pulling herself up. The man glared at her, and continued on his way. Ugh, people these days... I'll never find who I'm looking for. I hope he's had at least some luck by now...

Pitch Hornet let out a wild shriek as Hayate broke his rifle. "You... you disgusting, lowly, scum-sucking fart-breather! You're going to pay for that!" He immediately got to his feet and, in a fit of rage, prepared to take off towards Hayate. He pulled a fist back as he prepared to strike, and then his shape began to slightly change: protrusions that looked like wings spread off from his back, and those behind him could see holes left where these wings were. "Die!" Suddenly, flames began to blaze from the holes beneath as their purpose was revealed: his special move was to gain a quick boost of speed through the rockets hidden beneath his fake wings. His speed picked up tremendously as he approached Hayate, and he aimed his punch directly at Hayate's chest.

 

 

(And I guess this one-off character is now becoming our new Ash Rider.)

This is my chance! I have just enough power to use Iron Wall. Looks like what he's doing now is his own special move, and given the trajectory and momentum of his movement... I should be able to weaken him momentarily if I just counter him while in the Iron Wall state... here goes!

 

Hayate activated Iron Wall, his armor's durability increasing tenfold, and with every piece of armor now enhanced, Hayate dashed forward and met Pitch Hornet halfway, charging forward with a strong right punch.
