[align=center]?? Folklore ??

One wouldn't believe that they had ended up in a fairy tale.

Once upon a time, you have.

There are those in the Netherworld that want to uprise and take over the land of the dead and the land of the living. Led by those from the Overworld, they have grown stronger and stronger.

There are still Messengers and others that can travel to the Netherworld that want to prevent this overrule and restore the balance.

Will both worlds live happily ever after?, or....

"Get out!!" she shrieked. Ruru just watched curiously.

Upon arriving in the Faery Realm, Evany realized that no one was there. "... Huh, I guess everyone left," he said to himself. He faced the portal. "I should go check on Eliza..."

"Fine, fine," he sighed, heading over to the door. "Try not to get yourself killed too while I'm gone. Securing the house might be a good start."

After being teased by a surprisingly perverted spirit, and to his horror discovering that he was powerless, Raiden stumbled out of the pub, shivering and wrapping his arms around himself when he stepped out into the cold.

Eliza ignored his remark. She was staring angrily at the ground, her fists clenched tightly.

As he stepped out of the portal, for a moment, the air of the real world smelled foreign to Evany. "That's weird..." he muttered as he proceeded to leaving the cave.

"Why is it so damn cold?!" Raiden grumbled to himself, trudging along and beginning to wish he'd stayed in the netherworld. It was harder to walk here, and he was cold, and his stomach kept rumbling, and he didn't have any lightning to keep himself warm and protected... Plus he really didn't want to fact the spirit in the pub again.

Ruru came up to Eliza's legs and stretched her claws towards her, meowing. Still shaking, she managed to say as she cried, "A-alright... I'll f-feed you..." She headed for the kitchen.

Leaving the cave, Evany stared up at the sky. It seemed foreign to him as well. "This is the effect that death has on one's self, huh...?" he asked himself.

From behind Evany (he like jogged all the way around, bless him :'D) Will drew his sword, pointing it so it was just over Evany's shoulder. "You're supposed to be dead, Evany," he said, tone light and conversational.

Evany didn't flinch. Instead, he greeted over his shoulder, "Good to see you too, Will."

As she reached the kitchen, which was the one room other than the bedroom and the bathroom, Eliza dug through her pantry until she found something that she was able to feed the black cat. Still crying, she sat the food in a bowl, then sat the bowl on the ground. As the cat began eating, Eliza sat on the ground, continuing to cry.

Luke teleported to the real world "..."

"Well, on days where I get badgered into running my way around the entire Netherworlds looking for your remains before something goes and EATS you, only to find you right back home and alive... I tend to forget the formailities. You know that I'm usually remarkably good natured. Try me on any day that doesn't end in y..." Will slouched a little, but kept the sword steady. "Do you know just how many different rumour of your demise I've heard?" His voice turned heavy with sarcasm. "So let's hear it. How did the great Evany escape this time?"

  • Author

"You've heard of my death, huh?" Evany questioned. "Then surely, you should have heard of the disorder of the Netherworld."

As the cat continued to eat, Eliza walked back to her bed. She sat where the corner meets the bed, hugging a pillow.

Will shrugged, and pulled the sword back, stepping around Evany so he could face him. "A little. Bear in mind the spirits seem to be trying to keep it hushed up, and the only ones that would tell me anything were intoxicated."

  • Author

"Yes, well, something is disturbing the natural order," Evany explained. "Whatever it is, it only allows newly deceased souls to halfway die. Technically, I'm a Folk standing in front of you." He beared in mind that Folks are unsettled spirits.

Eliza stared into the pillow, listening to Ruru's eating in the other room.

(( Zukoraeptiem?:'D/shot ))

(The only way Zukoraeptiem will happen is if he manages to find her house... and climbs in the unlocked window. Oh God, I'm not sure if I can mention that AGAIN... xDD)

Will stepped back abruptly, bringing the sword up between them. "A Folk?!" he snapped, suddenly on guard.

  • Author

Evany glared at him. "Relax, you're making a fool of yourself. Anyhow, by sacrificing myself, I'm going to set things right and restore the balance."

(( Aww... D: Can't he go like Spirit Demon or whatever he's called in Avatar? xD ))

As the feline finished eating, it got on the bed with Eliza. When the human refused to pet her, Ruru helped herself by purring against her.

"I'm the fool?" Will rolled his eyes, resheathing the sword. "I always knew you were an idiot, Evany, but this just takes it to a whole new level. You do realise you're part of the reason there IS an imbalance now, don't you?"

(...He's limited to Zuko tantrums and lightningraep. He's also powerless in the real world. xDD)

Evany rubbed his temples with his index and thumb. "I knew explaining this to you would be pointless," he muttered. He then said to Will directly, "There are those half Folk that are the cause of this war. I gave everything that I got, but he kept getting back up. I didn't intend to die, but I gave myself this duty, in case I did."

(( .... He had power? :'D /shot Oh Zuko, I'm so sorry! Dx ))

"Let me guess, you were being a good boy and just using summons again? Probably why you went down," Will said, clearly completely ignorant of the fact HIS rule breaking had never actually given him an advantage over any Folk he'd faced.

(DD: -hugs poor Zuko-)

Evany sighed, "I'd find it highly impossible to kill one that's already dead. Besides, not using is what keeps the balance."

(( ._. .... -emo corner- ))

Still sitting there, Eliza found it highly difficult to fall asleep.

"Hmph. And I suppose completely ruining Eliza, that was part of your great heroic plan, too?"

(...:'D)

Raiden's rumbling stomach had lead him to the nearest house he'd been able to find. He didn't really NEED to eat, but he still certainly felt hunger, more so in the real world than the Netherworld. Not knowing it was Eliza's, and thinking he could probably ask the inhabitants for some food or something- he still had one of his daggers, so he could probably still threaten his way to eating something. Slamming his palm against the door, he was surprised at how much noise it made; then again, he hadn't really had a door to knock on for months and months...

Evany paused for a moment before looking into space. "I tried my best to give her a head's up.... She took it real hard, didn't she...?"

(( Oh yeah. Rosie, this is my emo corner. Emo corner, Rosie. ))

Eliza looked up a few seconds after the, I suppose, pound on the door. Thinking it was Will again, she sighed as she stood up. As she opened the door, Eliza said, "Come to lecture me and my win--"

"Ridiculously hard. Made me think she wasn't really cut out for this, right before she kicked me out."

Raiden, who had tried his very best to look disheveled and hungry and innocent, just sighed and facepalmed. "Argh, what IS it with my luck today...?" he groaned to himself, then looked up at her. "Expecting someone?"

  • Author

Evany was going to stay quiet, but then he said, "Wait, ki.... You were in her house...?"

Eliza paused as she realized that it was Raiden. "Oh, the guy that was hitting on me today," she said quite bluntly, not a hint of sarcasm or personality. "What do you want?"

(what i misss)

"She left her windows unlocked," he said by way of explanation, shrugging his shoulders.

Raiden just shook his head, irritated. "Alright, one, I was not hitting on you. B, I was hungry. Four- no, wait. Three. Or C..." he crossed his arms. "Why can't I use any lightning here?"

  • Author

"You shouldn't enter one's house like that," Evany stated.

Almost in one breath, Eliza explained, "I beg to differ; Then why don't you eat?; and welcome to the real world, where morality is 100-percent."

(( Oh not much, just Ev dying. xD ))
