[align=center]?? Folklore ??

One wouldn't believe that they had ended up in a fairy tale.

Once upon a time, you have.

There are those in the Netherworld that want to uprise and take over the land of the dead and the land of the living. Led by those from the Overworld, they have grown stronger and stronger.

There are still Messengers and others that can travel to the Netherworld that want to prevent this overrule and restore the balance.

Will both worlds live happily ever after?, or....

"C'mon, give me some help here... please?" Raiden half begged, eyes flickering after the tail despite himself.

Will scowled. "But my house is a tip. And yours is bigger. Plus much easier to get into."

After a moment, Ruru charged into the kitchen, fiddling with her bowl.

"How is it bigger?" Eliza questioned, ignoring his additional comment. "All of the houses in the village are like perfect replicas. I only have three rooms, anyways, and two of the rooms might as well be considered as one."

Raiden went after her, staring perplexed at her bowl. "Um... Right. You're hungry. Or thirsty. One of the two." He tried to set his mind back to the night before, what Eliza had been feeding Ruru when he'd walked in... but it was a struggle.

"Because I tried to MAKE mine bigger. And the roof collapsed in on my bathroom. It tends to ruin the landscape, but it's at the back of the house so not many people actually notice it too much." Will admitted grudgingly.

Looking up, Ruru had realized that the pantry was open, she ran into it. She began patting a bag that was on the ground with her paw. She saw the opening in it, then she buried her head into it until she got ahold of the food.

(( And that, my dear friend, is how my kitty eats food sometimes. :'D ))

Eliza couldn't help but laugh. "You do know that there's other open houses that you could just move in, right? Just give Scarecrow the head's up."

"Hey, hey-" Raiden protested, trying to pry Ruru away from the bag. "I'll pour you some out, okay? Just- get- out- of it!" In an attempt at being commanding, he pointed his finger at her in warning.

"I find Scarecrow's voice grating," Will said. "That, and he really doesn't seem to like me much. Can't imagine why."

Ruru startled at first as she came out of the bag. Then, looking up at Raiden, she meowed.

"Oh nooo, someone as nice as you? Really?" Eliza questioned. "I found his favor over people neutral. He doesn't even seem to be a negative... creepy-looking spirit."

"Wonder if people can eat cat food..." he mumbled as he carted the bag and Ruru over to her bowl, plonking himself down on the floor to pour the food into the bowl. After a moment, he recalled a somewhat gross memory, back when he was quite little and his family had left him home alone; he'd tried to find out what Sammy's food tasted like.

And it wasn't good.

He didn't really realise he was humming to himself and smiling for quite a few moments- but he didn't mind. After all, he'd actually remembered something. Fully. Which was practically a miracle for him.

"Well, he's always cheerfully telling me to co-operate and fix my attitude and all that kind of crap. He gives you a lot of praise, anyway, little miss perfect. Or, you would be if you shut your windows.

Ruru instantly darted for the bowl and began eating the food piece by piece.

Eliza paused. "He does...?" she asked. After a moment, she looked down, adding, "Nah, I'm pretty sure that he praised Ev a lot more."

Seeing Ruru seemed content, Raiden got up and tried looking through the bag he had left there the night before after finding the ramen. He sifted through until he found another packet of it- well, at least he knew how to prepare it- and followed the same steps as the night before, at a considerably faster rate. Although he did get a little stuck with the microwave.

(Yum, Zuko, good idea, noodles for breakfast. :'D)

"Oh, don't get me started on Evany. Practically every time I saw him Scarecrow told me I should "try being more like Evany, keehee", or whatever. It was always pretty much the same spiel each time."

  • Author

(( I understand him. Sometimes I have ramen once for the whole day. :'D ))

"It couldn't hurt trying," Eliza remarked, smirking.

"Being a goody-two-shoes isn't my style," Will retorted, crossing his arms over his chest. "And I fail to see how it makes you any better a messenger."

"The point isn't to be better," Eliza stated. "The point is to keep the balance of both worlds, and not have a calamity start."

"And I'm not going to start anything. I'm just as dedicated to the keeping the balance stuff as you and Evany- I just don't go about it the boring way like you."

Will glared up at the tree post as he spoke, as though he could blame IT for the 12 hour shift being uneventful for him.

"Just go get your rest," Eliza said. "While you're at it, get a bath or something. You smell."

(Okay i am SO lost right now! I was gone for so long!)

(( Yes... :'D -clears throat-

Eliza goes on her shift in the Netherworld. She gets into a "quarrel" with Zuko Raiden. Evany comes in shortly after, followed by Luke. Luke kills Evany, but he comes back, half-dead, but no one but Scarecrow, Will, and Eal are aware of it. >.> I think that's all the important stuff. ))

(Im so sorry!! *sighs deeply* D8 )

Kana walked around completely confused

"No worse than you," Will snapped, but stomped off anyway. Despite not wanting to do as she said, the smell of the dirt and sweat and the netherworld was clinging to him, and the more he thought about it the more he was becoming uncomfortable with it. He left through the portal, uncerimoniously dumping his cloak in a heap on the floor near the others and heading, not to his own house, but Eliza's, since he'd trashed his bathroom and he felt like rubbing the windows thing in her face just a little bit. However, when he got there...

In a moment of OCD, Raiden had locked the windows after making sure he'd cleared up his bowls and the kitchen in general was tidy and in order.

(:'D)

(( S'alright. xD ))

Evany realized that the sun was up. He figured that Eliza was already in the Netherworld, so he decided to leave the house for a little bit. He left and headed for the pub.

(( :'D Thank you, Zuko! ))

From her post, Eliza scanned the area around her. So far, so good. Nothing was happening... like in the last 24 hours.

Kana didn't know what to do so she went to the pub as well

(idk 8'D)

Before he could even listen to one of the spirits' stories, he paused as he noticed Kana. "Hey," he greeted.

After a few minutes trying to peer in the window and only managing to catch a glimpse of Ruru and Zuko's ass, Will assumed that Eliza had stopped him getting in before she'd left. He contemplated trying to knock a little hole in the roof to get in, but, then again, he had a feeling there'd be hell to pay if he broke Eliza's house. So, with a grumbling sigh, he went off to steal someone else's bath for a bit.

Kana noticed him too "Oh hey!"

(( D': Lucky bastard! xD ))

Ruru took a break from eating her food to go lay on the bed.

Leaning against the counter in a sexy way :'D, Evany stated, "Oh yeah, by the way, I am what you are now."

(Oooh smexy 8'D) Kana looked at him, confused "What do you mean?"
