One wouldn't believe that they had ended up in a fairy tale.

Once upon a time, you have.

 

There are those in the Netherworld that want to uprise and take over the land of the dead and the land of the living. Led by those from the Overworld, they have grown stronger and stronger.

There are still Messengers and others that can travel to the Netherworld that want to prevent this overrule and restore the balance.

Will both worlds live happily ever after?, or....

"Open the door!" he shouted back, looking down and shaking his head at Ruru.

"Why should I?!" Eliza demanded as she continued to sit there, crying.

Ruru cocked her head to the side, apparently confused.

"Well, what ELSE are you going to do? Cry in there all night?!" Raiden retorted, taking a moment to crouch down and shake his finger in front of Ruru's face.

"I don't know! Maybe..." Eliza said, lessening the volume in her voice. "Where else am I supposed to? You don't like crying."

Ruru tried sniffing Raiden's finger.

Raiden rolled his eyes, not trying to stop Ruru sniffing him. "I don't like snot, if I'm being specific."

Even though she was crying like crazy, she choked on a laugh. After a minute or two, when she had calmed down a little, Eliza reached for the door knob and unlocked the door.

In the meantime, Raiden had realised it was probably about time he got dressed while Eliza was still out of the room and he could get to his clothes. After tugging them all back on, and surpressing a grimace at how messy they looked, he picked up Ruru in an attempt to stop her meowing for food. When he heard the door click, Raiden went over to it, stroking Ruru's head as he looked down at Eliza, slightly worried.

"Want to talk about it?" he offered.

For a moment, Eliza simply stared at the ground. "... No. It was just... a bad dream..." A moment later, as though changing her mind, she added, "He was the only friend that I ever had..."

"C'mon," Raiden smiled briefly, not quite sure what to say. "I don't think he'd want to see you like this, if he was here. Am I right?"

Eliza paused, but then she resumed saying, "But... he left me all by myself. The only one that I can care for is his cat."

Ruru meowed in response.

"Huh..." Raiden dropped his gaze to the floor, unsure of what to say, or to do. In an attempt to avoid talking, he focused his attention on Ruru, lifting the cat higher in his arms, hugging her against his chest.

Eliza continued to sit there, not very much budging. Once in a while, she would take her hand and rub her irritated eyes.

Ruru began to purr, only meowing lightly once.

After a few minutes, Eliza spoke up, "I have another request..."

(Okay so what did I miss??)

 

Kana looked down on the unconscious man. "Who are you......" then she turned back to Evany "Lets get back to what we were saying before this weirdo showed up...."

(( Honestly? Nothing at all. :'D ))

 

"Yeah, but we should gain some distance from him first," Evany pointed out.

"Mm-hm? What is it?" Raiden asked, still stroking his fingers along the back of Ruru's head.

"Yeah. Where should we go.....?" Kana asked him. She still has mixed feelings about all of this but she decided she was gonna suck it up and tell him about what really happened that night...

"If you give me another hug, I'll let you have the bed for the night," Eliza stated, still having her eyes fixated (sp?) on the texture of the floor.

 

"There should be a portal ahead," Evany stated. "It'll take us to the next realm."

"Okay come on then....." said Kana pulling him along

"Eliza, I'm not going to steal your bed, you idiot," Raiden said, turning away and kneeling down to drop Ruru to the floor. Without saying anything, he turned back around and hugged her anyway. "You need the rest, anyway. You're on your feet all day," he mumbled.

Eliza froze. For a moment, she forgot to count the seconds. "Um... Okay...." she murmured.

 

After walking some distance, they approached a portal. "Here it is," Evany stated.

"Okay..." Kana took a deep breath. She was scared but she had to do this. Kana grabbed Evany's hand and pulled him gently inside "C'mon..."

"And you don't have to worry. I'm going to go back and face my father tomorrow, so you'll have me out of your hair."

Eliza paused. She found herself becoming sad again. "... Alright."

As they entered, they appeared in a water-based realm. (I forgot the correct name, so let's call it SeaWorld.)

"Where are we...?" Kana asked looked at the water and everything "Its so pretty.."

"Hey... You'll be alright. I'll pass by and irritate you when I can."

Raiden smirked at the thought, but the smirk faded when he thought just how angry his family would be that he hadn't come back quickly, and hadn't managed to do anything anyway.
