[align=center]?? Folklore ??

One wouldn't believe that they had ended up in a fairy tale.

Once upon a time, you have.

There are those in the Netherworld that want to uprise and take over the land of the dead and the land of the living. Led by those from the Overworld, they have grown stronger and stronger.

There are still Messengers and others that can travel to the Netherworld that want to prevent this overrule and restore the balance.

Will both worlds live happily ever after?, or....

"If you say so. And yeah It should be but it might be different here am I right...?" Kana asked him. "I still don't get this place but I'll deal...."

Evany thought for a moment. "It must have been 24 hours ever since I died..." he muttered to himself. Then again, the pain he just felt was very similar to the pain he received from Luke's blade previously. "Kana, do you ever feel pain that you felt when you... died, every 24 hours?" He asked.

"Yeah now that you mention it yeah.... I do... I feel pain in my neck.. I hate that...." She shook her head. "What does it mean....?

Raiden kept tossing and turning, kicking out so hard at the blanket as he slept that it ended up getting knocked away. Because he wasn't anywhere near as flat out exhausted as he'd been the previous night, he slept pretty much restlessly, constantly waking up and mumbling under his breath in the rare minutes he WAS asleep.

"It must be a side effect," Evany explained, "being half Folk, we still feel the pain as everlasting torture."

Eliza had woken up again. She had another bad dream. It wasn't bad enough for make her outburst in tears, but it gave her an extreme migraine. Sitting there for a moment, she looked down at Raiden, who, at the moment, was asleep. She noticed that his blanket was almost on the other side of the room. Partly to get up and walk around, Eliza got up, picked up the blanket, and covered most of Raiden's body with it. After standing there for a moment, she sighed as she went back to the kitchen, got a glass, and got some water from the sink.

"Yeah I guess... Will it ever end....? I mean like being folk and all that..." Kana asked Evany

(Zuko's joining in on the pain game! 8D /shot)

With a barely muffled scream, Raiden flipped over under the blanket, the talking in his sleep increasing in volume, to the point it sounded like he was pleading with someone, begging them not to hurt him.

Back in the netherworld, Raiden might have lazed around a lot, but the need to sleep wasn't as pressing as it was here, so he often went weeks without so much as a nap. Which meant he was usually awake for the lovely little reminder of his death, every night. Well, very very early every morning.

"Well, that's what the Messengers are for," Evany explained. "They ware down Folks so it would be easier to calm them down. Then, they capture their ids. It's a way of purifying their souls, I suppose. Then, they live on in peace as a natural creature of the Netherworld, like the Faeries that live in the Faery Realm, etcetera."

(( I have no clue if that actually works like that, but I'm going with it. :'D ))

(( Hasn't he joined that when he got owned by the Firelord? :'D /shot ))

Eliza stopped what she was doing when she heard Raiden. "H-hey...!" she said, sounding worried and startled. She ran over to the mat and bent down to shake his shoulder. "Hey, you alright?!"

(( I also realized that Eliza hasn't learned his name yet. ._.' ))

Raiden stirred with a moan, then realising where he was and seeing Eliza leaning over him, he cleared his throat, sitting up and hugging his arms around his waist. "...I'm fine," he said quietly, a little shaken. His dreams had amplified the pain, making it seem like he was back at his death, rather than just feeling pain.

Eliza frowned. "You sure...?"

Raiden nodded. "Happens every night. You were asleep last night when it happened. I didn't wake you tonight, did I?"

  • Author

"No," Eliza answered, still looking worried, "I was already up, getting a drink." (( Gah! I'll try to get on ASAP! Dx -leaving mom's campus- ))

"Oh..."

He noticed she still looked concerned, and managed a half-hearted smile. "Honestly, I'm fine now. Nothing wrong with me."

(( I'm back. :'D I'm at the dentist's now, so I'll be on for about twenty minutes. ))

Eliza looked at him for a moment, slightly suspicious. "If you say so..." she said. Then, she held the glass of water up to him. "Have some."

He held up a hand, shaking his head. "You have it. I'm all better now."

"Ohhh... Okay....." said Kana looking at him..

(Sry idk what else to post)

"... Alright," Eliza said before she began to take a big gulp out of it.

"Sorry for the delay," Evany apologized a moment later. "Let's keep moving."

"...Going back should be interesting," Raiden mumbled- he wasn't sure himself if he was talking to Eliza, or to himself.

"Huh?" Eliza asked when she heard Raiden mumble something.

"Nothing," he said grouchily, hugging his knees against his chest and burying his face in them. "...Urgh, my head hurts. I couldn't sleep properly before."

  • Author

"My head hurts too," Eliza remarked as she stood up. "You sure you don't want any water?"

(( I'll be back again. I gotta get my hair cut now. ._. ))

(Busy day. xDD)

"I don't see how it would help... I'll just wait for it to wear off." Raiden answered, still not lifting his head from his knees.

(( Yes. ._. This is my last post for the day. I'm having a random photoshoot, then I'm going to the fair. ))

Eliza raised an eyebrow. After a moment, she sat the glass down next to him and went on the bed, saying, "Well, just in case you change your mind..."

Raiden was silent for a little while, then lifted his head and looked over at her, hugging his knees tighter. "Wait. How come you don't live with your mother and father...?" he asked.

Eliza paused. After a moment, as she looked up at the ceiling, she replied, "Because they never sticked around long enough for me to even know them."
