One wouldn't believe that they had ended up in a fairy tale.

Once upon a time, you have.

 

There are those in the Netherworld that want to uprise and take over the land of the dead and the land of the living. Led by those from the Overworld, they have grown stronger and stronger.

There are still Messengers and others that can travel to the Netherworld that want to prevent this overrule and restore the balance.

Will both worlds live happily ever after?, or....

"H-hey! Get off!!" Eliza shouted. When her arm got a cut, she felt fear for a second before summoning an Pouke. The goblin-like pushed him off forcefully.

As Eliza stood back up, the Pouke laughed as he vanished, "Haha! Wuss!"

"Shut up!" she shouted at the non-existent creature.

(xDD Well, that wouldn't be so bad, now, would it?)

 

Having been sent sprawling by the shove, Raiden pushed himself up onto his knees- quite tricky to do with a dagger in one hand, since he couldn't use that arm to push himself up for fear of stabbing himself or something ridiculous like that.

"What? Gonna keep sending your little monster friends my way 'cause you're unable to fight me yourself?"

(( Mmm...~ -w- .... Well, it's bad if it's Shamalan's Zuko. >.> ))

 

"Evany says that we can't kill," Eliza said, "and I'm a Messenger-- I don't specialize in physical power!"

"Well, that's kind of a buzzkill," Raiden complained, twirling the dagger around his fingers. Then he pulled his arm back and threw it, eyes narrowing too late to aim that well.

(What did I miss????)

Once again, with luck, the dagger flew right past her head. She was startled by this, but she didn't move. "Make one more move, and I'll blow you into the next realm."

 

(( Not much. The other three are still sleeping, and Eliza's fighting Zuko. :'D ))

Kana woke up

"I'd like to see you try," Raiden mocked, getting to his feet and tugging at the other dagger, clumsily trying to get a proper grip without dropping it or using his other hand to move the blade at all.

Suddenly, Evany said to Kana, "You're up early, even though you only slept for two hours."

 

While he was occupied, Eliza summoned Boobrie, a giant falcon Folk.

Finally managing to get a secure grip, Raiden glanced up from his hands, and cursed under his breath. Taking himself back a few paces, he closed an eye to aim properly that time, and gritted his teeth in concentration. Then, sparks flew up the blade, crackling up from his hand, and with a low grunt of effort he hurled the dagger as hard as he could at Boobrie.

 

(...Raiden... lightning... //shot)

(( xDD I'm entirely convinced that this is a paranoid Zuko with an alter name. ))

The Folk shrieked. However, in anger, it swung his wings towards Raiden. He didn't exactly be blown to another realm, but was pushed a decent meters back. Boobrie vanished.

"Your fighting woke me up that's why and who are you..?" she looked at Raiden

(( Um... The fight's in the Netherworld. You're in the real world. ))

(...H-he... Eh, yeah, pretty much. xDD)

 

Raiden smirked, attempting to run at her, leaving the other dagger abandoned on the floor in the hopes of an opening to attack.

Suddenly, and quite randomly, Eliza passed out. Summoning sucn powerful Folks could drain one out so well...

Raiden hesitated, skidding to a halt and staring down at her crumpled form, bewildered. Warily, he knelt down, knowing if he attacked her while she was unconscious his father would probably be disgusted and punish him for his lack of valor.

(Well I haven't been paying attention! How shud I know?! D8<)

Suddenly, Eliza kicked Raiden away before jumping onto her feet.

Aha, just kidding, guys-- Boobrie wasn't a big summon in the slightest.

Eliza stood in a triumphant pose, exclaiming, "I'm the guardian of both worlds, during the day! My name is Eliza, and don't you forget it!"

"Im going back to bed.... Very confusing.." kana laid down under a tree

Evany became extremely confused as to why Kana didn't go back to sleep in the bed that she was in, but then he shrugged it off as he went to sleep.

Raiden kept his head down, jaw set in pain- after all, he had just stabbed himself in the leg by accident- when she'd kicked him, he had tried to stop himself falling, and not only failed but slipped the dagger. He hadn't, thankfully, stabbed himself too badly; the blade had only nicked the side of his leg, because he still was able to think quickly enough not to directly slam a weapon into himself...

 

Trying not to groan or make a fuss over the wound, Raiden stumbled to his feet, tugging the dagger away from his leg and wiping the blood off on his sleeve.

"...Noted," he said grumpily, tightening his grip on his weapon and trying to keep his breathing level and ignore the pain.

Eliza wasn't exactly sure what to do. She couldn't exactly claim Raiden's soul, since he was human. Keep on fighting him would certainly go nowhere. Besides, she had a job to do. "Unless you're not done flirting with me, I'm going back to my post," she said as she walked back to the tree.

"Flirting? F-flirting with y-?! Oww..." Raiden, half startled and half outraged, tried to storm after Eliza, but fell to one knee, gripping the wound in his leg and moaning the "oww", despite himself.

Eliza paused to look back at him. "Hey buddy, you alright?" she asked.

"I'm fine. I was just taking a break..." Raiden said stubbornly, trying and failing to stand.
