Before the official zelda timeline came out I never thought that there was a timeline for the series. That was when I seen the Wind Waker prologue. The prologue gave a lot of hints saying that a hero came and defeated Ganon. After this happened so many years passed by that the hero became a legend. It was oot link. One day Ganon broke the barrier that the sages made to prevent his from getting hyrule and caused chaos over the land. since there was no hero to fight him the Gods had to flood and seal hyrule.
Now looking back at the official zelda timeline the wind waker takes place in the adult timeline. Before the wind waker was the era without a hero which makes a lot of sense because as you seen at the end of oot Link leaves the adult era and returns to his original era, the child era. What did you think about the legend of zelda before the zelda timeline came out.
