    He explained that Sora was able to jump through time because a version of himself was waiting at that moment in time. Ansem who had went back in time to set Young Xehanort to the future jumped forward to Destiny Islands to that moment as well enabling Young Xehanort to hijack the Mark of Mastery Exam.
