Zexion/Ienzo, TAKE IT AWAY!

Fong shuddered and felt Mammon's breathing come in quicker, shorter jolts. His hands shaking, Fong slackened his grip, that voice in the back of his mind growing stronger. He managed to loosen his hold a bit more, allowing wider gasps of air into Mammon's body.

 

(YOU'RE ALMOST THERE )

Mammon's neck was bruised, and he gasped in air quicker, trying to regain steady breaths.

Fong felt the body beneath him resume its breathing and the voice in his head gave a sigh of relief. The anger, however, still existed which meant his grip wouldn't loosen anymore. Fong was able to force a few words out.

"I-I'm...sorry."

"..." Mammon stayed silent. He was able to breathe the slightest bit to sustain life. He wanted to struggle, but he knew that it'd probably just make Fong angrier.

And though he felt Mammon's breathing the illusionists silence sounded a red alert for Fong. Worry consumed anger and he immedietly released his hands around Mammon's neck for fear he may have caused him to black out. -But he's still mounted onto him-

"M-Mammon? Mammon?!" He shook the teen slightly.

Mammon blacked out, but was still able to hear the sound of Fong's voice. He couldn't respond, though.

Fong was panicking quite literally now, shaking the body underneath him. His breathing had becoming very faint now and Fong's anger was at the back of his mind at the moment.

"Mammon! Oh God no...please be okay!" He drew Mammon into a tight hug, his face buried into the crook of his neck.

 

(NOOOS, MAMMON!)

Mammon managed to speak. "...I'm fine, you moron."

 

(F0 those are very negative words, Mammon.)

Fong gave a small smile, still holding Mammon in a hug. That smile faded once he realized why Mammon was even in that state in the first place.

"Viper...I...I just...I didn't mean to..." And then this just crushed him entirely. There were dark bruises on the teen's neck.

 

Reborn was right.

Mammon stared at him for awhile. "Then why'd you do it?"

"Because...that's the result of being angered easily...you start to get violent thoughts in your head. I didn't want to hurt you...you know that...right?" Fong flickered back to the conversation he and Reborn had that night he made the exchange....

 

The wind billowed the grass surrounding them, whistles sounding through the leaves just slightly. Reborn stood in front of Fong, lazily spinning the pacifiers in the palm of his hand.

"You realize what you're doing right?" The hitman asked, looking at the chinese male from under his hat. Fong nodded, refusing to look at his fellow Arcobeleno. "You know the si-"

"Make me violent and angered easily. I know." Fong turned to walk away back into the night towards home.

"He'll leave you. He won't want to put up with the abuse, despite how much you love him, Fong." Fong paused his steps, his eyes glazing over.

"I know, but I can still try."

 

He hugged Mammon tighter, sitting up and pulling him into his lap.

"Um...Yeah, I know that. No need to pull me so close..." Mammon felt somewhat uncomfortable in the current situation he was put in. He never really liked direct physical contact with anyone.

For a long time, Fong didn't reply. He was silent and surprisingly calm but inside he was in a raging battle with himself. Finally, he managed to whisper softly against Mammon's skin.

 

"Don't leave."

 

(BRB, STAY ONLINE!)

"Uhh...kay." Mammon replied, afraid of what would happen.

 

(We posted at the same time and I didn't see it.)

Fong looked at Mammon. Slowly, he pushed back some hair that was lingering on the illusionists cheek. Just as he leaned forward to gently brush his lips against Mammon's, Fong's phone rang. Irritated, Fong answered pulling away.

"Dammit Reborn what?!"

"I'm getting your pacifiers for you."

Fong double taked.

"What?!"

"Verde's done experimenting with them. You can have them back."

Mammon sighed.

 

(LOL there's nothing for him to do there.)

After exchanging a few more words, Fong hung up the phone and looking happily at Mammon.

"We're getting our pacifiers."

"YAY."

(After they get their pacifier back.)

 

Fong paced the hallway outside Mammon's room. The image of what had happened just a day before flashed into his head and he sighed. He was so close...so close to getting his kiss.

"How unfortunate for me..."

Mammon sat in his room, blasting 947 types of death metal. It drowned out the sorrows. (LOL WAT SORROWS?)

 

Yep, Mammon was back to normal.

Pausing, Fong looked at the door. Taking a deep breath he knocked on the wood, nervous but composed as always. 'Here we go...'
