Zexion/Ienzo, TAKE IT AWAY!

"What are you waiting for? I wanna leave..." He said simply, gazing out the window blankly. Seriously, why the hell was he hesitating?

"You...you IDIOT!" Squalo yelled, slamming his fists on the steering wheel. "VOI, why didn't you yell when you first knew you were in trouble?!" Squalo ordered, ripping his mask off and glaring at Bel furiously...but there was something else.

"I tried!" He snapped back, beginning to take off the jewlery. He didn't want to be bothered by this shit anymore.

"Not hard enough!!! You should know by now how good my hearing is, a mere whisper would have got my attention!!!" Squalo growled, starting the car and slamming on the gas.

"Well it's tough when I'm being pounded into bedsheets!!" He replied, gripping the leather seats like a lifeline.

Squalo did several sharp right turns followed by a left.

"It's a two syllable name! Not that hard to say Bel!!!" He passed several cars going well over the speed limit. "That wouldn't have happened if you had just...." He couldn't speak at all as he was driving, his grip on the steering wheel loosening.

"If I just what? Oh, and you're going over the speed limit by like, 945 mph." He said dully, glaring at him through his bangs.

Squalo didn't answer but he did slow down a bit.

"Nothing. Forget it, the job's done, that's all that matters."

"Tell me~" He was about to throw a THIRD hisst fit if he didn't tell him.

Squalo hesitated before speaking.

"If you had just given me a warning glance before you walked in that room...or if you had told me to just wait outside once that happened this wouldn't be an issue. Not..." He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Not that it's all your fault. It's partly mine as well for not keeping a closer eye on you..." He paused. "Whatever, I'm rambling now."

"Ushishishi~ I've never seen you so selfless before~" He teased, crossing his legs.

 

Edit: I have to eat real quick

"VOOOIII, S-SELFLESS?! I was just...I only meant it as a comrade who was concerned about the mission is all." He murmered, blushing as he avoided Bel's gaze.

Bel poked at Squalo's shoulder. "Do you liiiiike me~?" He asked jokingly.

"F-firetruck NO!" Squalo declined, driving faster as his heartrate increased and his blush darkened.

"But you're blushing~" He insisted. The dramatic changes in speed were getting to him. "Christ, slow down..."

Squalo grumbled lightly before pulling over to the side and braking suddenly.

"..." His hair shadowed his face, hiding his gaze.

"Ahaha...I was only kidding...heh..." He said nervously, afraid he was going to get aether'd out of the car.

Squalo had Bel up against the window of the passenger side in a quick flash, pressing his lips against Bel's passionately.

He was surprised, but gradually returned the kiss, pulling him closer.

PROLOUGE

 

The night was still as a chill settled in the crevises of the land, causing people to huddle into their beds. Outside, in the woods, a male stood up, wiping his mouth with his sleeve. The red liquid he wiped away was a barely noticable stain on his cromson outfit. His once dark black eyes turned back to their natural color of brown. Fong walked away from the dead human, back through the woods, back into his home which he shared with the Arcobaleno.

Fong was up bright and early the next morning, yawning with a smile on his face. He stretched walking down the stairs into the kitchen where breakfeast was being made.

Mammon scarfed down some forkfuls of food. Boring night was boring. (Oh sh- I know this one! D: )

Fong nodded in the direction of the Arcobaleno, all of whom were seated at the table eating. He was handed a plate by Luce and he hid his distaste with a pleasant smile.

"It smells delicious." She giggled. Fong took a seat inbetween Reborn and Mammon, raising an eyebrow at the teen scarfing down his food.

"Hungry Mammon?"

"Yep." He said between bites. God, he loved breakfast. "Don't bother me, I'm eating."

"I can see that." Fong remarked, fake eatig his food. He simply put it into his mouth and swallowed without tasting. He refused to eat like that, not when he could be indulging in something much sweeter. He breathed, shaking those thoughts from his head.

"So how was everyone's night?" He got a 'Fine, thank you' from Luce, Verde and Reborn were apparently discovering the meaning of being as silent as the grave, and Colonnello replied with 'Tiring' though he gave a smirk to Lal as he said that.

(Don't mention straight pairings to me besides RebornxLuce please. )

 

Mammon kept on eating and Skull stayed silent as well.
