As Mammon walked in without knocking, he found him on the floor, a pool of blood below him. He stared in horror before rushing to his side and whipping out his cell phone. "F-Fon! Hold on, I'm calling an ambulance!"

Fon looked up at him with a glassy gaze in his stare. A small smile pained it's way onto his face, and he reached up to touch his cheek gently.

"Y-you're okay. How did you do o-on your test?" He asked, acting as if he didn't have a bullet in his back.

"No! Don't talk! My test isn't what matters right now!" He brushed some hair our of his face, resting his palm on Fon's cheek, shouting for an ambulance to hurry up and get there. "You're gonna be okay, I promise!"

Fon nodded slowly, fighting to keep his eyes open as the slid half way closed.

"O-okay..." He felt his breath come in shorter spurts, little by little. "Just...hurry."

'Don't die on me, Fon!" And just as he said that, the ambulance arrived. Damn. That WAS quick.

 

~~HOSPITAL~~

(I'm not being the doctor.)

(That's fine )

 

The doctor cleared his throat, looking over Fon's vitals and whatnot. Turning to Mammon, he pushed his glasses a little higher onto the bridge of his nose.

"There's been a good recovery. The bullet removal was successful and he's stable now." He smiled lightly. "He's awake now if you want to see him. He'll be coming out in a few days." The doctor said, motioning to te door.

He sighed in relief, glad that he was still alive. He came into the room hastily. "Hey." He greeted.

Fon looked up at Mammon, smiling at the sight of him.

"Hello, how're you doing?" He asked, motioning to the chair next to his bed.

He took a seat. "I could ask you the same question..." He muttered, fiddling with his thumbs.

 

(Just WAITIN for a reply.)

Fon waved his hand in a dismissing manner.

"Really, I'm fine. I was more worried about you. The way you came in so suddenly, I thought someone was after you." He admitted, leaning into the pillows.

"Oh...Well, if it helps, I passed." His smile returned. And not a smirk this time. A full smile.

Fon smiled back before sweatdropping.

"I had made some dinner but looks like that surprise is out."

"I guess so." He chuckled lightly.

 

Agh, awkward silences were so annoying.

"So, when will you be staying over again?" Fon recalled the hesitation he had. If he hadn't turned in time...he'd be dead. And he'd regret everything, Mammon never knowing the truth.

"I will once you get out of the hospital." He assured him, holding his hand. That was the kindest thing he's ever done. I think...Besides calling the ambulance.

Fon smiled, holding his hand back. Subconciously, he found himself leaning forward and he quickly kissed him, pulling back afterwards. He blushed brightly.

"I'm glad to hear it..."

He blinked. "What...was that for?" He asked, bringing a finger to his lips.

Fon looked around, a sign of uneasyness.

"Well, do you remember last night? When I was going to tell you something but hesitated? I was going to say," He took a deep breath and locked stares with Mammon.

 

 

"I love you."

"I...love you too." He admitted, playing with a strand of hair nervously.

 

"So...what now?"

"Well," Fon kissed Mammon's cheek.

"We could kiss again," He chuckled. "Or you could go write another paper for your college or something."

Mammon smirked. "I'll go with the first option."

Returning the smirk, Fon placed a hand behind Mammon's head, bringing him down so he pressed their lips together. Gingerly, he moved the other hand to Mammon's waist, securing him there.

He blushed, returning the kiss happily. He gasped upon feeling a hand on his waist.

Using Mammon's open mouth as an oppurtunity, Fon curiously poked his tongue inside, exploring the dips and curves of the wet cavern.

"Mm..."

He moaned into the kiss, deepening it by pulling him closer by the collar.
