Chikusa swallowed the lump in his throat, eyes just barely widening. Ken couldn't know. He wouldn't let him find out.

 

"No. You're just thinking to hard. I'm not hiding anything." He retorted, using his other hand to try and pull out of his grip, now feeling antsy.

He let go, his gaze drifting to the ground. "If you were hiding something...You'd tell me, right?" He asked, frowning sadly. Ken would want Chikusa to tell him anything. Knowing that he had trust in him, even if he said some things he didn't mean sometimes.

Chikusa held his one arm close to his chest, the other swaying back to his side. He wanted to say yes. That he would tell Ken that he would never hide anything from him. But that'd be lyin. And if there was one thing Chikusa was it wasn't a liar. He turned around, facing his back to Ken as he looked at him from the corner of his eye hesitantly.

 

"No." He said simply, beginning to walk away from Ken's body.

"Chikusa...I cut myself too." He muttered, beginning to walk away as well. He just wanted him to know that he wasn't afraid of hiding anything from him. However, he didn't cut himself in the same place as Chikusa did. Instead of his wrists, he preferred to slit down the inside of his thighs and the backs of his ankles.

Chikusa was sure his heart had stopped beating for a solid 8 minutes and that his scars were stinging so much more than usual. He also could have sworn that, as he spun around, he felt afraid for the first time in a long while. Ken...cut himself? The carefree, seemingly fun blond....wanted to die? It was if all hope had vanished for Chikusa. His eyes widened in fear as he found himself reaching towards Ken for reasons even he couldn't explain.

 

"Ken...wait!"

Ken looked back a little, Chikusa coming into view. He smiled sadly, his brown eyes softening. "That shouldn't come as a shock to you." He said, lifting up one of his pant legs to reveal a few scars on his ankle. "See? There are more, but showing them to you would be pointless since you won't even show me yours..." He hesitated. "From what we've been through, I thought you'd at least figure it out by now."

(Guess where I am? Locked out of my house, in the cold, with only my DSi to keep me company -_-')

 

Chikusa gulped, unsure of what he was feeling as he hesitantly retracted his hand. Ken...Ken, his light of the day, his blond ball of energy, cut himself? It made the teen's heart break. That statement alone made it seem as though all hope was lost.

 

"...K-Ken..." Looking away, he rolled up his sleeves and twistedhis arms up, showing the multitude of thin scars shining white against the skin. The were disassembeled in different angles and spots. Not all of them were fully healed either from two days ago. And...he felt ashamed.

(Really?? Climb through a window or something!)

 

Ken gulped. "That's...a lot of scars." He said dryly. Ken looked up at him in curiosity. "So...why did you do it?"

(I kinda' live on the 2nd story, let's not crack my head open xDDD FFFUUUU- my DSi won't show dA! I wanna' see those Bel pictures!!!)

 

Chikusa shrugged, looking anywhere but at Ken.

 

"I...I don't really know. I just wanted to feel something, anything, toprove that the people from Vendice hadn't killed my emotions. Sometimes one cut pleased me. Other times....10 didn't even cut it." He admitted, face burning brighter and brighter with each passing moment.

Ken frowned. "Y'know...Vendice is only half the reason why I do it." He admitted, shifting in place nervously, blushing.

Chikusa looked up, slightly startled at that. He took a step forward, bring himself closer to Ken involuntarily. Hands shaking, he put them on his shoulders and leaned is head down on his shoulder, looking up at him from the corner of his vision.

 

"What's the other reason?"

"Because...I wanted you to love me like I loved you. From the first day we met...I've always loved you Chikusa. And after we were released from Vendice, you changed and acted like you hated me. So I hated you too...even though I never meant what I said. The only way to supress the feelings I had for you that I knew you wouldn't return...was to hate myself too."

Chikusa gulped, his eyes softening at that. Ken...loved him? Had he really been such a dick? He was the cause for hurting Ken like this just because he acted like he hated him. But that was just...

 

"I could never hate you Ken." He admitted seriously, looking up at the blond seriously.

"Then..." Ken huffed. "What do you really feel for me?" He asked, hugging Chikusa back.

Chikusa hesitated, hugging hm back slowly. Gently, he pressed their forheads together, giving a breif smile.

 

"I love you Ken."

He smiled brightly, chuckling lightly. "Chikusa..." With that, he pressed their lips together.

Chikusa's eyes widened as he felt Ken kiss him and without wasting a single movement he kissed him back harshly, holding onto him without the intent of letting go.

"Nn...!" He kissed back with equal force, moving his lips against Chikusa's needily.

Chikusa kissed back harshly, pushing Ken against the wall as he let his hands roam to Ken's waist. He licked at his lower lip, biting on it tauntingly as he pushed between the blond's legs.

Ken opened his mouth eagerly, moaning at the action. At first he winced because his scars were on both his thighs, but he soon took pleasure in grinding against his leg, making him whimper.
