Shinji Mikami Needs To Make Resident Evil Again

Posted

Let's all face the facts. The Resident Evil series is on life support right now. I wish that Shinji Mikami would return to make RE games again because he's about the only Japanese developer that knows about horror now. I mean, I can understand why he left Crapcom and all but I wish that Crapcom would sell the RE series and than have that said game company hire Shinji Mikami to direct the RE games again.

I agree. RE4 was a massive hit. RE5 from what I know sold well but alot of fans disliked it. I liked RE5 personally but was it a horror game? Not even close. RE4 wasn't scary at all either but still good. I won't even get into the horrible excuse of a game that RE6 was. With the way Capcom is right now it looks like they will go under. Which sucks but they deserved it with all the stupid stuff they did.

I am sure The Evil Within will be good. Hopefully the RE series can pick itself back up with the next game which we don't whether or not that will ever happen and when the RE series gets bought by someone it better go to Tango which is developing The Evil Within. I swear to god if it goes to some shitty ass developer studio who will just make crappy games every year that are 100% action I will give up on the series. Shinji Mikami is literally the only person in Japan who can make a true "survival horror" game.
