Hey guys, i just had an idea for a writing method i'll use when i come up with an idea for stories

 

First, i will write a short-and-sweet synopsis of what the story will actually be about

 

Then i will write a rough draft ''script'' that is in the style of a movie trailer and it would include pivotal scenes that i'm intending to have in the story and it will give a clear idea what the tone of the story would be.

 

and then next i would try to add more scenes and flesh out the characters and story

 

What do you guys think?

We should compare notes one of these days man. I find my main problem is lack of grammar and I drag things out a bit too long

Okay, I have to agree with what Caity said.  It's always good to have a backup plan.  I myself want to study art so I can be a great comic book/mangaka artist, but first, I decided to study barbering so just in case art doesn't work for me, I have the barber job to fall back on.  It's always good to have a backup plan.  But as for your goal, yes, I think it's a great goal!  Strive to become the best writer you can be, period!
