Some time ago the village known as Starkald was prospering and was in the best state it had ever been at. It was a peaceful little place until one day an unknown group of ememies called the Raniken invaded and burned the village to the ground. Taking many peoples lives along the way. The survivors of the attack were taken away and took hostage. Except for one group of people who formed a resistance that called itself the Staraldens. In honor of their village they swore to fight back, and take back their home from the Raniken. You are part of this resistance or you can be part of the Raniken to take down the resistance.. Will you take back your village or take over it entirely?

 

Rules

Madison laid down as well but she didn't fall asleep right away. She throught of everything "....." then she got up and walked into the forest alone and reached a little lake and sat on a rock "...."

Rick woke up rather quickly, unable to sleep. He sat against a tree trunk and sat there, looking at the stars. He then thrust his head against the bark.

 

Why can't I save her?

 

Rick turned to see that Madison was gone.

 

"Madison?"

Madison looked out on the lake and sighed "......" she looked at the stars "I wonder if mother and father are up there looking down on me... I sure do miss them... Their encouragement, their.... Love..." at that Madison started to cry

Rick searched the forest, looking for Madison. Finally, he saw her by a lake, and she was...

 

Crying?

 

Rick was surprised to see Madison showing any emotion, let alone crying. Slowly, Rick approached the lake and sat down.

 

"...you miss them, right?"

Surprised Madison turned around and pulled her sword out. Then she saw that it was just Rick. She didn't saw anything.. She sat down on the rock again.. Then replied "Uh huh....." she wiped the tears out of her eyes but only new ones fell

Rick stared into the water. "I remember you told me that emotions only interfere. They cause pain. And pain makes you weak... That was what I used to think." Rick looked to the sky. "I was wrong. I pushed aside my childhood, and pretended it never happened. Erica tried to tell me, but I wouldn't listen. As a result..." Rick looked at his blades, stained in blood. "I became a heartless monster." Rick stabbed the blades into the ground beside him, and looked at Madison.

 

"Don't push aside your emotions like I did. Emotions turn you into who you are... they keep us human. Accept what has happened, and focus on the future. It may not be easy, but it's something you have to do."

Madison looked at him and nodded. Then let it all out. She started sobbing. Hard enough that she fell off the rock "I miss them so much! They enocouraged me! And loved me! And now..! And now that's all gone! The Raniken took them away from me! I'll never hear their voices again! I'll never hear "Honey. You are doing such a good job." or "Madison we love you so much..." I'll never hear that again from them! They're gone!!"

Rick was stunned by what he just saw. Madison had completely broken down.

 

"Come on, now. I know that it's hard to deal with. I know what you're going through. But... you're not alone. Percy lost everything when the Raniken came, and for all I know, my sister could be a shadow monster right now. But I know now that I can't let my mind focus on everything that's going wrong... I can't just think about Erica. I need to think about you, and Percy, and that Goodwil guy. You guys are my best.... only.... friends. And we need to stick together. So wipe off those tears, and focus on what the future could be...

 

Rick got up and extended his hand to the fallen Madison. "A village where no one needs to live in fear of the Radiken. Where no one needs to lose their parents, siblings, friends, family."

Madison's lip was still trembling but she took his hand.. And nodded "I will avenge their deaths....." she said to him with some tears still coming down her face... "I miss them so much. But like.. You said I can't look back on that now..."

Rick nodded. "That's right. Now, we need to get some sleep. With our luck, that thing from tonight will be back tomorrow, and the fact that I haven't passed out from blood loss yet amazes me."

"I can help you with that. I'm also trained in the art of medicine and treatment I can help those wounds.." then she looked at him "And Rick..?"

Rick cracked his neck, starting to get drowzy. He looked at Madison again. "Yeah?"

Madison hugged him. "Thank you.. Thank you for helping me..." then she let go and smiled "Oh and... This conversation never happened Kay?" she started to walk away.

 

(she's not hugging him out of romance she's hugging him out of thanks.)

(Whew, my cliche alarm was beginning to sound )

 

"Got it." Rick watched as Madison walked away. Suddenly, his vision went blurry. Rick held his head, and he began to collapse.

 

"The fact that I haven't passed out from blood loss yet amazes me."

 

Why did I have to say that? Why?

 

Rick collapsed to the ground.

 

"Ricky, it's time for bed!"

 

(I'm done for the night )

*Sorry that I had to go out so suddenly, my mother was angry because it was late and I was still here.*

Irem looked at their wounds "I wouldn't try to fight tomorrow again if I were you, the one that attacked you here took advantage because you didn't give up, now you shouldn't expect things to be different."

Percy woke up because of Irem talking and he glared at her. "Listen I know what your trying to do so I'd suggest you would not do any of your little-" Percy was interupted because he collapsed to the ground again because of his wounds "Damnit, I'm still-not strong enough"

"As if I knew that myself, and for that wounds you've got I would suggest that you took care of them, if you want to sleep go ahead, I can't do that when someone is trying to kill me anyway."

Percy tried to get up but fell back to the ground "A.... pawn... like you... shouldn't be... talking... your life.... depends.... on... us... so I would suggest you shut up. Your lucky I dont kill you.... right now"

"I would be quiet if I knew you could kill me whenever you want, but the situation is different here. I know more than you think I do and that's good for me since it makes me something you can't lose. If you sit and stay quiet the pain will go away, but if you continue trying to get up you could break your leg." Irem said sitting down again and looking at the sky, she wish she was free from anyone to go anywhere, but that wasn't the truth of her life.

"Whatever" Percy created the clone and he ordered it to keep a guard on Madison. Percy struggled but he got up and he walked over to the lake. "..."

Goodwin was sitting at the lake and saw Percy approach. He turned to him. " hey percy. Do you need help?' He started out happy and joyful but turned grim when he saw Percy struggling to walk to the lake shore. The water was calm and still. Peace and tranquility surrounded the air but Goodwin thought it was just the adrenilane wearing off.

"No its ok but thanks for asking Goodwin." Percy continued to limp to the lake. Percy then drank the water out of the lake. He hadn't drank the water for a long time. Suddenly a huge amount of pain came back to Percy and collapsed to the ground.

Madison woke up to see that neither Percy nor Rick was there only Irem. Madison's eyes turned cold as she looked at her "Where are they?" she asked her coldly without much tone to her voice

Percy got up. "Ugh! Damn bullets" muttered Percy. Percy limped back to where the camp ground was. He was still pretty injured from the bullets.

Madison saw Percy limping she looked at him "Hey you need help? I can treat your wounds.." she said to him still glancing over at Irem every once and a while to make sire that she wouldn't do anything let's just say "funny"
