Some time ago the village known as Starkald was prospering and was in the best state it had ever been at. It was a peaceful little place until one day an unknown group of ememies called the Raniken invaded and burned the village to the ground. Taking many peoples lives along the way. The survivors of the attack were taken away and took hostage. Except for one group of people who formed a resistance that called itself the Staraldens. In honor of their village they swore to fight back, and take back their home from the Raniken. You are part of this resistance or you can be part of the Raniken to take down the resistance.. Will you take back your village or take over it entirely?

 

Rules

"Y-Yeah... We don't even know what he looks like..." she rested her head on a pillow...."....he's vicious whoever he is...... A murderer probably or something even worse...."

As Rick woke up, he looked to see his home was set on fire, and about to crumble. He ran as fast as he could, and escaped before the place fell apart. Rick looked at the destruction, but he didn't care. He only cared about one thing. "ERICA!!! WHERE ARE YOU???"

 

No answer.

 

Rick collapsed, slamming his fist into the ground. "I'm sorry.... I failed.... I promised to protect you..." Rick looked up once again, and saw his blades lying in the ruins of his former home. He grabbed them and stood up. "I'll save you, Erica..... no matter what it costs."

*I lost all the good part because I wasn't able to come here most of the day So, I guess Irem should be at the hospital.*

"You guys are pretty hard. It's a miracle that all of you are still alive." Irem said while she looked at Rick, Madison and Percy at the infirmary, when they got to that town she recognised it but didn't remember how.

Percy glared at Irem and was still breathing really hard "Can... you just.. shut...up???" asked Percy still glaring at her

"Sure, if it you wish." Irem got up and got a glass of water, she looked at the shelf with some medicines and chose one to put in the water, then she gave it to Percy that looked to be the only one to be awake.

Percy glared at Irem but still drank the medicine in the water anyways but he still felt like he wanted to kill her. But of coruse his legs might never be the same again

"Good you drank it, I thought I would have to call a nurse to make you." Irem said with irony sitting in her place again.

Percy glared at her "Its only to make me feel better, and also I dont understand why Rick wants to spare you since your not leaking out any information" said Percy

"You'll have to wait and see, he must have his reasons, like I have mine not to kill you right here."

Madison woke up the next morning to the same beeping as the previous night. "Ugh...." she tried sitting up but to no avail.. "Ugh i hope the others are alright... They are a little worse than me and thats saying something...... " she looked around and remembered that she was in the hospital.. and sighed "We aren't going anywhere for a while i suppose..." she looked around again and closed her eyes briefly

Rick slowly opened his eyes to the hospital lights once again. He lifted his head off his pillow and looked around. It looks like I'll be fine, but I'm still in no condition to be moving around right now.

 

He rested his head again, staring at the ceiling. I wonder if Percy and Madison are okay. If they're sleeping, I don't want to wake them.

"So you two are awake now. Things were getting quite boring here." Irem said looking at them "I guess you'll have to stay here for a while."

Rick glared at Irem. "Alright, cut the crap. I know I liar when I see one. You know what that thing was that attacked us. So tell us: who was that?"

"Who? How come I would know? I already told you there are many of them that I don't know." Irem looked up at the ceiling with a calm expression, there was nothing to fear from Rick at that time.

Rick didn't blink once. "Simple: when you grow up with no trust in anyone like I did, you learn how to read people. I can read you like an open book." He slowly lifted his head up. "So I know that almost every word that has come out of your mouth up to today is complete crap."

"And who is going to make me tell the truth? I'm sure you aren't in conditions of doing anything, and my life is depending on the information I have right now, I think I want to live a bit longer. What will help if you know who the guy that attacked you is?"

Rick was growing impatient. "He can control shadows. That means he has a high ranking, which also explains why he was so dangerous. So why would he keep coming after us, even when we pose no threat? The most logical answer: he's looking for you. That must mean he was assigned to watch over you, which means that the person we're looking for..." he lifted his head. "...is the man who was with you when we first met. He'll hunt us until we give you back, but we need your information, which is the ONLY reason I haven't cut your head off yet. Even if he's powerful, everyone and everything has a weakness, and that's what we need." Rick lifted himself up a bit more. "How do we stop him?"

"If you want to know who he is, that won't matter. He is the person who has been training me since I'm 9 years old, I was trained to control the shadows like him, but I never did it right, during my tranings I could never beat him once. When I was sent on my first mission they sent him to watch over me. I don't knows his weakness and he's not here for me, his mission was also, like me, to kill any survivors. You won't get rid of him that easily if you think that letting me go will solve the problem."

Rick chuckled. "Let you go? Why would we let you go? We still need you, since you're the only one here who's on their side. You said you know how to control shadows.... so is there any way to keep him from doing this?"

"I said they wanted me to do this, but I can't, and I don't know how to stop him from controlling shadows. It's quite a difficult technique, I don't know anyone else that knows how to do it."

I'm getting nowhere with this. She has to know something.

 

Rick looked at Irem. "You're saying that in all this time training with that...thing, you we're never able to find a way to break through his defences?

"Sometimes, but just when he wasn't paying attetion, that won't get you nowhere. I don't believe you will be able to defeat him especially in the dark, why don't you try relaxing for a it and think about yourself now? I won't give you any informations about the Raniken you can keep arguing with me but there's no way I would do something like that. If you don't want to waste your energy you can stay quiet. I'm not here to protect any of you." Irem got up and looked at Rick with cold eyes, she had her own plans and didn't matter what they did she wouldn't give up ont them.

Rick lowered his head. "Think about myself, huh?" he whispered. "I've done that enough for one lifetime." He looked at Irem. "Well, thanks for nothing. Can you go bother someone else now?"

A doctor knocked on Rick's door. Percy had a super hard time breathing. He was also coughing really hard, he was barley holding on.

Rick heard someone knock on the door. "Come on in, you really don't need to knock." Rick saw a doctor come in.
