comparing this piece of art to the artwork of previous installments this looks quite a bit more realistic in comparison O.O so what does this mean for the future of kingdom hearts? this is purely speculation but does this mean nomura will return to using the anime/realistic hybrid artstyle he used for final fantasy 8?

I think you're looking a bit too much into that

 

In fact the artwork isn't that too realistic in fact it reminds me of some old final fantasy designs

I don't get how it's realistic when it's more in the style of a shonen anime....I think the word you're looking for is more detailed...not more realistic

 

I know those two artworks are for a young Xehanort and Eraqus but they look kinda like characters from FF8 and FF12
