Not too far away from London, England, some time in the 1800's, there is a mansion.
The young lady who lives in this mansion is known as the King's Spawn.
The King's Spawn, named Aya Everus lives with a mysterious butler and her housekeeping servants.

However that butler is not all what he seems. That butler is one hell of a butler, making sure the promise of revenge and protection would be completed before Aya's soul is consumed by this butler.

Many trials await the Everus household, and some are just out of this world.

Name: Aya Everus
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Appearance: Aya is a beautiful young lady who is rather thin and pale. Her bust size is average for her age and her right eye is a vivid blue, and her left a pure yellow-gold color with her contact seal. She has black hair reaching a little past her waist and her hair is rather scruffy. She almost always wears lolita-dresses.She is seen with black eyepatch over her left eye. I know she relates to Ciel, I just have no ideas ;~;

Biography- Aya was sexually abused by her grandfather and was always a silent child because of this. She was afraid of older men and never communicated with her mom. Her parents and grandfather were assassinated, but to this day Aya does not remember by whom. She wants her mother back, because her mother was the only person she loved. Her little cousin lives in Germany.
Weapon- Handgun
Anything Else- Aya loves white, blue, and peach colored roses. She likes strawberry cake but it has to be cold. The only tea she likes is warm mint tea. Aya trust her butler more than anyone in the world. She keeps her eyepatch off in the mansion. She has asthma, it acts up especially in the spring and fall.

Veran let out a sigh, shaking his head, "A wolf? Perhaps. And if you think my teasings are nips, so-called savoring of your soul, then you are wrong. My Lady, I mean no offence, but if you are this dense, you are a fool.

He regained his composure, and glanced about the room, "And then we shall leave, since this place is disturbing."

Aya glared at her butler, letting a slap go across his face.

"I am not a fool! Don't you ever say that!" She yelled, possibly loud enough for Lorenzo to hear.

"If anyone leaves here it will be you!" Aya was obviously raged, only because of a simple word. 

Veran let the slap go. He knew it was coming.

"I do not do my teasings in a reach for your soul. I may be a demon, and your butler, but I am also your friend. Lest you forget that, I do many things not for our contract, but out of pure affection, as hard as that may seem to be to believe. Us demons are not entirely sociopathic, Aya."

It was one of the few times Veran ever referred to her simply by her name. It was almost always reserved just for serious moments.

Veran had won the little fight once again, Aya lowering her hand and laying back down. 

"I guess I really just don't understand you guys yet." she said grabbing Veran's arm and pulling him beside her.

"Lets get out of here." she said seriously, looking back at him. 

Veran smiled, and gently ruffled her hair, "As you wish, Lady Aya."

The butler walked up to the window, and searched for a bit until he found the latch. The window, now open, let a lot more moonlight filter in. Veran stared at the moon, and chuckled to himself, "You mentioned me being a wolf. And how funny that there's a full moon out tonight. My Lady, would you like to ride a wolf back home?"

Aya's eyes lit up.

"Can I?" she asked rather excited, getting her shoes on and looking out the window. 

She imminently noticed something was off.

"U-Um Veran...who are those people...?" Aya asked, looking down at the mob headed towards the mansion. 

"We shall be leaving." Veran said, his eyes sliding over the mob that was trying to break their way in.

Almost immediately did a dark cloud wash over him, and Veran's body twisted and morph until a large, grey-black direwolf rested beside Aya.

Get on. A voice seemed to tell her, beckoning her to sit on his back so that they could make a swift escape.

Aya's eyes only lit up more. 

'Oh my gosh it is adorable.'  she thought, hopping onto Veran's back.

"Lets gooo!" she said with a smile. 

It was a charm to see Aya smile, just over something little. 

With a loud woof, Veran leap out from the room, and nimbly landed onto the soft ground below. A few members of the mob yelped, eyes wide at the large wolf, and the young woman who sat upon it. The wolf growled at them, before running off into the woods. The mob would never be able to locate the wolf, as the night's darkness and thickness of the woods left searching impossible.

 

We will be there soon, Veran told Aya, Please rest if you must.

Lorenzo cleaned up the table when he heard a muffled yell. He glanced up. "Hm? Lady Aya?...could possible be having a nightmare. Or complaining how cold it is tonight."Lorenzo said with a soft smile as Hime the poodle moth landed on his shoulder. Before he could say anything else Jellal and Alejandro hurried up his pants,crawling into his pockets. "Jellal? Alejandro? What's up with you two? Did you break something again?"Lorenzo asked as he noticed Aiko crawling up to his other shoulder,hissing wildly. "Aiko,what's wrong girl?"Lorenzo asked. as he noticed the dim lights of fire outside. He blew out his candle and hurried over to one of the windows on the second floor. There were villagers in front of the house. "W-What?! What would they be doing here out of all times?!"Lorenzo asked worriedly. Suddenly he heard the loud bang of the double doors being slammed open,and the running footsteps of them running inside. His eyes widened in fear. "Have they gone mad?! They could be after lady Aya...I need to warn her!"Lorenzo whispered as he hurried over to his room and slammed the door open. "Lady Aya there's-"He gasped. The windows wide open as the soft breeze entered the room. She was gone. "(She must've spotted them earlier than me. Wait...DID SHE JUMP?!)"Lorenzo thought as he hurried over to the window and looked around. He didn't see any blood or splattered body. He guess she was alright. "Oh thank goodness."Lorenzo sighed. He glanced up at the sky,seeing as the light of the moon seemed to be getting dimmer. "No way."Lorenzo whimpered as he got his hands in front of him,positioning his fingers so that he could focus on the moon. "...a lunar eclipse?"Lorenzo asked himself before hearing the sound or running footsteps. He turned to face the group that had been sent to chase after lady Aya. "Who are you?! Where's the girl?!" Thank goodness the darkness seemed to cloud their vision from his scars. He gripped his hands into fists. "I don't know. But I have to ask you."Lorenzo said as he turned to the men. "Get the hell out of my house."

 

In the village it was like a celebration was going on. There were candles and music playing as there were multiple tables settled all around the middle of the town. Children played and laughed as adults walked around and danced. On the tables there were plates and utencils. Strapped onto the tables were the living missing people. The police officers,the detective,and Alice. All strapped down under the influence of the seemingly harmless plant that they had induced into their food and drink. Sarka stood staring up at the moon while waving a small fan in front of her face. The moon was turning red. They had to begin soon otherwise they wouldn't finish by the time the moon returned to its proper way of being. "Those idiots better return with the girl and the butler soon,otherwise they won't be eating."Sarka hissed as she turned to her town,smiling. "Good evening everyone! Let us celebrate the 120th anniversary of the Lady of the Moon's Curse!"Sarka said as people applauded. "Of course we don't call it a curse,but a blessing."Sarka said as he pointed at the mural of the town. "Over 100 years ago,in the hunt for the last witch,the witch offered us a gift in exchange to let her go. In that time,I,as the daughter of the prime minister,agreed to the terms for the best of my people. We would let her go. In exchange,we would live immortal lives! The only catch,we must eat our own at every blood moon."Sarka explained as she turned to her people again. "But after a few decades we discovered a loophole! The feast didn't had to consist of us...but of any other as long as they were human! And so we have lured foolish victims into our town,in order to feast,and gain another year of safe living and health."Sarka announced as she pointed at the strapped victims. "Here we have brought enough people for all of us to eat for the night! As long as we all eat atleast a part of the sacred sacrifice by the end of the eclipse,we shall be blessed for another year!"Sarka explained as everyone cheered.

"Veran, stop." Aya ordered, looking back at the village.

"We forgot my maid...and my horses, and my carriage." She said simply.

"Let's go get them." She ordered.

Aya then sneezed, it was pretty cold tonight.

They leapt through the woods again, returning to where they had left the rest of their belongings. The carriage, thankfully, was where it had been left, but it seemed that the horses had been lead of to a stable.

Veran stopped, and sat down so that Aya was forced to slide off of him. He stood up, and then really stood up, as his body turned into a black cloud as his human form was returned to him.

"I suggest that we hurry. I dislike this place as it is."

"Veran. Look." Aya said seriously, pointing down to the circle of people.

Alice, the detectives, and some other people were all tied up, the Sarka person blabbering about eating them.

"Do you think they are vampires are something?" she asked. 

After a bit of listening to Sarka, Aya grabbed Veran's arm.

"Lets get this over with." she snapped. 

"Cannibals, likely. Stay by my side, My Lady. I do not want you to be harmed, and I am certainly not leaving you here."

Veran nodded to her and took out his revolver. "I shall deal with this. I despise cannibals. Too messy, and always leave the best part out." Veran said, smirking, "I mean, why leave the soul out when it is the best part?"

"Make sure not a single one of them are alive." Aya commanded, smirking.

She didnt want anyone to get ahold of her however. She would be the youngest of the crowd to be eaten if she was captured. Aya shivered at this thought. Why were humans so brutal?

"And so,let us begin,for we-!" Before Sarka could finish that sentence she heard the sound of yells and screams as out of the path leading to the forest,trees fell and shook wildly. Sarka's eyes narrowed as the next thing she saw was a tree being thrown across the field as people ran out of the way,the tree crashing against the ground as it crashed against tables and other decorations. "...what the actual ****?"Sarka asked. Alice smirked to herself as she used one of the knives of the table to cut her rope. "We don't have time for this,everyone,we need to eat before the red moon ends!"Sarka yelled,glancing up at the red moon. The lunar eclipses usually lasted from minutes to seconds. They had little time for this one. Snap! Alice spun on the table,easily kicking those who were sitting on the table back against the floor. "What the hell?! What are you waiting for?! Stop her!"Sarka yelled as she took out her gun and started to shoot at Alice. Alice was quick to dodge and flip her way out of the gunshots. The ex-trappist was to agile for the brute,daily workers. "Get her! The rest! Start eating them! Hurry!"Sarka yelled. Alice picked up the knives from the table and blocked pitchforks that almost got her by the back. She flexed her body,dodging the attacks,but she couldn't just try to reach the rest of the ones that were tied down. Not all of them atleast. "What did you guys do to milady?!"Alice yelled. Sarka stared. "(I thought she was just a maid?!)"Sarka thought as she gritted her teeth. "She's most likely dead,her body being brought over to the feast!"Sarka smirked as she glanced over at one of the men she had sent over to the manor coming up covered in bruises and blood. "WHAT?! What happened?!"Sarka asked. "T-The girl rode a wolf out of here! A-And there's this monster who fought us off!"The man stammered as yet another tree was thrown across the town along with a few bodies splattering against the ground like rain. "He's here!!!"The man screamed in fear. The children ran screaming for their mothers and fathers as Lorenzo walked up and stood with bloody fingers and holding the body of an unconcious father. "You made a grave mistake to infiltrate my estate."Lorenzo hissed as his spiders and poodle moth stayed hidden within his clothing. "(What is going on?!)"Sarka thought as she felt her body shake. "Where did you take Aya?!"Lorenzo yelled. "WE DIDN'T TAKE HER WE SWEAR!" "Mommy he's a monster!" Everything,for once in over 100 years,was out of Sarka's control.

Veran shot one bullet into the air, the moment they came out into the clearing.

"Attention cannibals and or demonic entities. My name is Veran, and they call me the Hell Butler." He smirked, his grin sliding into a sneer as his eyes went over the crowd, "Release those you have captive, or I will rip the fabric of your souls from your bodies, and devour them as you waste away."

 

No need to hide his truth anymore. These people were doomed to die.

Aya suddently pulled Lorenzo's sleeve.

"Right here sir." She said simply with a smile.

"Veran is magnificent, isn't he?" She asked the doll.

"Do you deserve to go with the others, doll?" Aya suddently asked darkly, pulling her dagger from her coat poket and pointing it at Lorenzo.

Lorenzo stared at Veran in awe. "He is..."He muttered. He looked at Aya and then raised his hands up. "N-Nope! I don't think I deserve to go with the others~ They attacked,I just fought back in self defense. Hahaha..."Lorenzo muttered as he chuckled nervously,glancing at the scene. "I've confined myself to the manor for decades. I never knew any of this was happening. I guess that just proves how ignorant I am."Lorenzo sighed lightly as he looked down at Aya and smiled. "But I'm glad you're ok. When I went to check up on you and saw you were gone I thought you had gone off and jumped out the window out of how miserable the room was!"Lorenzo said as Hime crawled out of his pocket and started to fly around Aya's head. Alice looked up. "(If Veran's getting involved this won't end well.)"Alice thought. She didn't know of Veran being 100% a demon. But she knew that whenever Veran got involved,what he said,he meant it. Sarka gritted her teeth in anger. "**** it...**** it **** it **** it!!!!"Sarka yelled as she went over the boiling point. "Kill them! Kill them all! If we don't eat by the end of the red moon we will become nothing but dust and bones!!! Kill them!!!"Sarka yelled as she started to shoot at Veran. The people went crazy. If they didn't eat,they would die. So they went at it. The men attacked Veran as the children started to cry out of fear,the women tried to bring Alice down as others hurried to try to eat the peopel tied to the tables. Others rushed to Lorenzo and Aya,lust of hunger in their eyes. It was like animals kicking into their fight or flight situation in order to survive. Lorenzo got his fists ready as Alice dodged out of the way. This village,who have killed for years to survive,would do it again. Alice didn't even think much of it,but before she knew it,she yelled; "GO FOR IT VERAN!"

Veran was taking them down left and right. Some were armed, and attempted to slice and stab him, but not a single one of their mortal weapons did so much as a single cut. Veran laughed hysterically, savoring the torment he was serving. Blood was spilled everywhere, and his crisp gloves were soiled with the deep red life force.

"I will certainly eat well tonight!" He laughed, firing a bullet straight into one of the mob member's heads. With a splurch, done went that man, and Veran stepped over him before continuing his bloody rampage.

Aya had to start fighting, and she did just that.

"No food for you tomorrow, Veran.." Aya said sinpky, suddently her knife stabbing into a simple little boy.

She immidently froze as the boy dropped to the ground.

Sure, the boy was trying to kill her...but Aya just had a soft spot for them, and that hurt her.

Alice dodged and use her skills to kick people and have them run into each other. Lorenzo was using his brute strength to punch and tackle enemies out of his way,slamming their heads against the floor,one after the other. If he knew better he didn't even know what he would've done. To know that this seemingly small town has been doing this for a much longer time than he has been alive. It was a disturbing thing to find out about the only town he's ever known. He elbowed one of the upcoming women,apologizing that he had ended up pushing her teeth in and knocking them off and down her throat,blood splattering everywhere. "(If I knew anytime earlier I...what would have I done?)"Lorenzo thought. Would he had killed them? Would he had stopped them from feeding and killed them in the process,as he was doing right now? He didn't know. He truly didn't. He guessed he would've just shut himself back in solitude and force himself to live alone,forever until the end of time. He ended up kicking someone behind him out of reflex,only to stop when he saw a small girl standing there scared. Lorenzo lowered his leg and stared. "(Guess I am a monster after all?)"Lorenzo thought. Sarka started to cry,tears falling down her cheeks. "No,no,no,no,no!!!"Sarka screamed. Their village slaughtered. Their gift ruined. Their meal running away. It was a nightmare coming true for Sarka. "How could this happen?! How could this bloody happen?!"Sarka asked as she glared over at Aya. The moment she had stepped into the village,everything went to her favor,and against Sarka's. "You...who the hell are you?!"Sarka screamed at Aya in a fit of rage.

"Everus. Aya Everus. Investigator and worker of the Queen." Aya said simply, looking at Sarka

"My dearest butler has done his job well. I might hire Lorenzo if we wants." She saif, smirking and looking at him.

"Would you like to work as the protector and animal caretaker of my manor?" Aya offered.

Lorenzo's eyes seemed to lit up. This would be the first person to see him as a human,not a freak. New life,new start? He gave off his biggest smile as he saluted. "Yes,my lord!"Lorenzo said,obviously accepting the offer. Sarka's eyes widened. The Queen. Everyone involved with any supernatural crap knew that the Queen had her eyes and hands on everything supernatural for the best of her people. "The Queen..."Sarka muttered. Then she remembered. "...You're her Watchdog!"Sakra hissed as she backed away. "No...this can't be happening. This can't be happening!"Sarka sobbed as she looked around,running with a dagger to the closest person tied to the table. "If I eat even just a bit,I'll be able to survive! I'll be able to survive and live for another year!!!"Sarka yelled as she sobbed out of desperation and want. But the moment she reached the table she felt a sharp pain strike her body. Glancing at the moon,her eyes widened. Time was up as the red moon slowly turned white. She along with others who still haven't been killed started to scream. Women,children,fathers,everyone started to scream and hold their bodies in pain as their skins started to turn into dust,float away in the wind. It was a sad sight,atleast for the children and the mothers who held them trying to calm their pain. Sarka screamed. "Curse you Watchdog!!! Curse you Queen!!! Curse all of you and your damn existence!!!"Sarka screamed at the top of her lungs,her skin turning pale and death like,her hair turning white and falling off as her teeth fell off to the ground and turned into dirt. Everyone soon turned into nothing but skeletons and dust while suffering a seizure like movements. "Ehhh~"Alice said as she backed away from the falling skelletons,the screams of the people echoing away as the entire village eventually came down to silence. The curse broken.

Veran sighed, about to reload his revolver as the entire group dissolved into nothing but ash and dust.

"So much for collecting their souls." Veran sighed again, sadly. Cursed people already had their souls taken away. He still would've fought for his lady, but not as feverishly, as the promise of food was gone.

"Well, mission accomplished."
