Silvia Kuroi 1,480 Posted September 4, 2014 "Then today will not be a good day, if m y lady is already tired and exhausted." Veran said, moving to gently pat Lady Aya upon the head. He smiled, and then let out a quiet sigh, "I do suppose we will have to be leaving soon, won't we, Lady Aya?" He asked her this, silently wondering if, by some chance, he could find some sort of dinner. That lord was fairly delicious, but Veran still hungered for more. Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted September 4, 2014 Aya nodded towards Veran, the two receiving Drale's flowers and riding off in a carriage to Samael's house, where hopefully the burial would be. The two got out and Aya knocked on the big door at the front of the house. She had no idea where this was going to be held because Giotto didn't tell her...at all. Stardustblade358 806 Posted September 4, 2014 (edited) Samael glanced down at his father's grave before glancing back. The family cemetery was right within the Pandora territory, but stood on a rather far off part of the property so it would be safe for the bodies to be buried within the property without having any health issues happening. In the backyard of the property would be a gorgeous garden and a forest road leading up to the private family cemetery. They had staff leading anyone who came by all the way over there to the cemetery. Samael greeted the people who came by to give their final respects and goodbyes to Lord Pandora. The fact that most of them had seen him alive yesterday only made the situation more gloomy and surprising. Samael glanced over at Anabelle, whispering to her ear while others looked away. "Don't worry. It'll be done my tonight. Marco is making sure of it."Samael seemed to smile desperately as he glanced over at the small doll that sat on his shoulder. Though people questioned where was Marco,as he usually was found by his master's side, they were more concerned in showing respects and making sure that Samael knew that his father would be missed. Samael could only give a bitter stare. --- Today's a good day Giotto: You forgot to mention where the funeral was at WHAT DO I DO G: Solve it To think I've committed such a mistake in such a prestigious roleplay G: Just make it that the backyard is the cemetery like the haunted mansion Brilliant Edited September 4, 2014 by Stardustblade358 1 Josuke Higashikata reacted to this
Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted September 5, 2014 Aya and Veran were leaded back towards the gravesite, Aya approaching Samael and bowing slightly to him. "I am sorry I am late, Samael. We lost one of my garderners yesterday. It really is a shame..." She muttered. "May I?" Aya asked, holding out the two roses to be layed on Pandora's casket. Stardustblade358 806 Posted September 5, 2014 Samael turned to Aya and quickly nodded. "Yes,please do."Samael said, referring to the roses. He fell silent in thought when he heard about the gardener. "What a tragedy...may your gardener rest in peace as well with my father..."Samael muttered as he got his hands together. "Your gardener,my father, why have so many tragedies fallen upon us? We haven't done anything wrong have we?"Samael asked, unsure of his own words. He remained silent for a few seconds. "...no. Maybe it's a punishment from god for living how we do? In luxury because we were born into such families. Yet with such happiness princes must be payed in return, sort of an equivalent exchange so everything can be equal."Samael muttered as he could vaguely remember his mother and father. His mother was born with albinism,so she had beautiful snow white hair and gorgeous red eyes due to the lack of pigments. This was passed down onto Samael. He loved his parents so much. He truly didn't know what to do without them. Now both of them...are gone. "Thank you so much for coming to pay your respects,Lady Aya."Samael said with a bitter smile. "Anabelle, thanks you as well."Samael said. The doll sat still, but for a split second,it seemed as if the doll alone had turned its head to face Aya.
Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted September 5, 2014 Aya walked over to the casket, placing her two roses on top of the others. "May you be missed, Lord Pandora." She muttered. 'It had to be done, Pandora.' she thought. Aya turned back around, looking at Samael and noticing the doll on his shoulder, Aya glaring at the disturbing thing. Stardustblade358 806 Posted September 6, 2014 Samael took off his hat as his father's coffin was slowly lowered down. He glanced over at Aya who seemed to be glaring at the doll. He smiled a bit. "Ah Aya,I don't think you two met. Did you meet? I don't think you did."Samael muttered. "This is Anabelle. Would you like to hold her Aya? Anabelle says she likes you. You two could be great friends."Samael insisted as he held the small doll in his hands. The staff of the pandora household knew of the doll, but didn't think much of it. They didn't know or remembered where exactly Samael had got it from. They just knew it was his and has been with him for a while now. They thought it was strange for a young man of his age to be so attached to a doll, but most of them figured it was because he had lacked a motherly figure for most of his life, and the doll provided that comfort. They all hoped that Samael would outgrow it once he'd meet someone who he'd love more than the doll. Samael smiled as he held small Anabelle in his hands. "She thanks you for coming over to father's funeral. She's very grateful and wishes to invite you inside for tea."Samael said as he moved the doll,as if making the doll being the one to do the movements. Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted September 6, 2014 "May I hold her? She is a very beautiful doll. I kind of wish I would have had a doll when I was younger." Aya said. She looked up at Samael. "I will join you for tea as well. Do you have mint tea? Its my favorite. You probably also need to get your father off of your mind. May Veran join us too?" She asked Aya then looked at Anabelle. "Its nice to meet you Lady Anabelle." She said, curtsying. Aya was definitely still a child, its just hard to tell sometimes.
Stardustblade358 806 Posted September 6, 2014 Samael smiled. "Yes. Here you go."Samael said as he gave Aya Anabelle. Anabelle rested in Aya's hands. Samael trusted Aya enough. "I know my father is in a better place, with mother."Samael muttered. "Of course Veran can come along. Come,I'll have someone quickly prepare mint tea."Samael smiled as the servants took cue and went ahead to prepare the tea. "You didn't had dolls when you were younger? That's not a fair thing for a lady."Samael muttered. He thought. "Maybe I should give you dolls for your birthday. They'll be collectables too. So you can be sure that they will be only the prettiest of dolls. In fact I think I have one from my cousin's collection. She outgrew them so she wouldn't mind if I handed it to someone who gave it better use."Samael smiled, rather excited as they made their way back to the manor, the grave diggers taking care of making sure Lord Pandora was put to well rest. The servants led the two to the tea room,a favorite place of Samael's late mother. It was a round room with marble flooring and gorgeous furniture. It's walls and ceiling were glass and the view outside was that of the garden. Even inside the tea room there were flowers, making it a mix of tea room and green house. "I'll go get you the doll!"Samael said as he ran off like a little kid. The servants went ahead and settled down the tea set and served freshly brewed mint tea. Anabelle seemed to tilt her head up,ever so slightly that it wasn't very noticable, but ever so softly,a raspy whisper seemed to reach Aya's ears,as if it was brought by the wind. "Nice to meet you Aya~"
Silvia Kuroi 1,480 Posted September 6, 2014 Veran stood away from Lord Pandora's casket. It was bad luck for a demon to return to the body that once housed the soul he devoured. Nothing good ever became of a demon who did so. He sighed, and watched Samael cautiously. He could sense Aya's distaste towards that strange doll, and even Veran felt something sinister came from it. A frown set on his lips as he watched the damnable thing. It was evil. And considering Veran himself was literally a demon, that was saying something. He sighed, and lifted the fine cup to his lips. Bleh. Mint tea. Why didn't they ever have any Earl Grey?
Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted September 6, 2014 Aya immidently put Anabelle straight down. "I am denying the doll. I am not that fond of them. They are lifeless and their eyes stare at you like they want something. Sometimes they remind me of you, Veran. Of course that something you will eventually get." She said with a smile. Aya turned Anabelle to face Veran. "Is this some type of voodoo doll or something?" She asked her butler.
Silvia Kuroi 1,480 Posted September 6, 2014 Veran frowned and gently took the doll into his gloved hands. "Well, voodoo is really nothing but garbage. Most of the followers were outcasts who wanted revenge. Those who truly had the power to curse called it voodoo, as they were fooled by both demons and gods." Veran turned the doll around, trying to find some sort of marking or rune. If this was some sort of familiar or conduit for magic, it usually held some marking. "And I hope I am not comparable to a doll."
Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted September 6, 2014 "Well you kinda have no soul I dont think. Also you do want something from me." Aya said, looking at her butler seriously. "You are no doll, you are much more than that. You are none other than my butler." She said with a smile, pointing at Veran before taking a sip of her tea. Stardustblade358 806 Posted September 6, 2014 Samael returned holding a bigger doll in his hands. He smiled. "Oh Anabelle you're making new friends."Samael said happily as he sat down on his seat and offered Aya the doll he had brought in. It was taller than Anabelle, and had a beautiful dress and well detailed curls for hair. "Here. I think this doll would be happy to be with you rather than sitting on a shelf in here."Samael said as he then picked up his cup and drank a bit before curiously smiling. "Anabelle didn't say anything rude while I went to get the doll right? She tends to curse out at the maids when they come to wake me up in the morning."Samael chuckled as the sun slowly rested against the hill, sunlight illuminating the tea room with a crisp orange color. "Your company delights me beyond happiness Lady Aya. Your fiancee is a very lucky man to have a beautiful and lovely lady as yourself by his side."Samael smiled as he drank a bit of more tea and thought for a moment. "Anabelle likes you two a lot. That's a sign of good luck I think."Samael chirped before glaring at Anabelle,as it seemed that she had said something that only reached Samael's ears. "Anabelle! That's a terrible thing to say to Veran! He's a guest."Samael hissed as he gave a whimper to Aya and Veran. "I'm sorry, she usually doesn't call people demon like that." --- Doll:
Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted September 6, 2014 Aya turned away from the doll. "Just because I said I didnt have dolls as a child doesnt mean I want one. They are rather frightening if I say so myself." She said seriously. Aya suddently stood up, pointing at Anabelle. "What makes you think my wonderful butler is a demon? Demons are horrible creatures who dwell below the ground." She yelled. However Aya was wrong, she knew how stunning and beautiful demons could be, but they are horrible creatures. However Aya belived that having this demon at her side made her superior. Silvia Kuroi 1,480 Posted September 6, 2014 Veran almost grimaced. That doll. He would destroy it when he had the chance. Whatever it was, he was not going to allow these whispers to continue. And after that, Veran would investigate into Samael's background. There was some reason that he had these strange dolls..."Well, she isn't too far from the truth. Some could say I'm possessed from the way I follow m'lady's orders."
Stardustblade358 806 Posted September 8, 2014 Samael settled the doll down and quickly moved his hands, waving them frantically. "You are correct! Demons are terrifying creatures according to all of the studies and theology statements! Bad Anabelle! Look what you did,you upsetted lady Aya."Samael said as he picked up Anabelle, scolding her. "Oh forgive me ever so much. Anabelle doesn't usually curse out at guests! I'm truly ever so sorry,Veran,Aya."Samael said as he clapped his hands together and bowed his head for forgiveness, showing he was embaressed of Anabelle's behavior. He thought for a few moments, remembering all that he had read from the many books of enchantments, dark arts, arcane arts and theology. About angels and demons, types of demons, types of beasts. Cryptzoology as well. "Demons...aren't bad by fit right?"Samael suddenly asked. "I mean, they were born that way,so they're naturally evil, but they can change."Samael muttered. He then shook his head. "Oh never mind! I'm blabbering again. I've read so many stories...but none has the demon in them ever won or be good. So maybe there can be a story where the demon is the good guy and the human is the bad guy, crazy right? Haha!"Samael said as he got Anabelle on his shoulder. Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted September 8, 2014 "Well...I suppose demons can change. I haven't meet one myself. So I wouldn't know." Aya said, sitting back down and taking a long sip of her tea. Her eyes met Veran's, she staying silent. After it started getting to an awkward silence, Aya placed her teacup down and looked at Samael. "Are you okay Samael? You seem rather nervous." She said seriously, facing him.
Stardustblade358 806 Posted September 9, 2014 Samael gave a soft smile to Aya. "Y-Yeah just...it has been such an eventful day...my father's death, the burial, and then you came to visit,it has been sadness, happiness and emotions all over the place...I don't know why but I feel like I can trust to be comfortable around you, maybe because we've both suffered losses. I know it isn't right for me to say this, you're engaged, and I wish you could forgive me for what I'm about to say,but..."Samael muttered. "Ever since I saw you a few years ago I wanted to think it was love at first sight, you're truly a beautiful lady,Aya. What I wouldn't do to marry someone as beautiful as you."Samael said rather bluntly as he smiled softly. "If your fiancee ever does anything bad to you...I don't think I'd be able to hold myself back to hurt him back."Samael said. His words sounded true. They sounded sincere. But were they? I don't know I'm just the author writing this post so don't ask me. Ask Uriel or something. She's been lazy ever since her last appearance. But back onto the topic. The sun quickly seemed to set down, the room darkening as the servants brought in candles to illuminate the room. Samael got his hand over his mouth lightly. "I can't help myself but to be attracted to you...please consider me as an option were you ever to turn window?"Samael suddenly asked, not really thinking of what he was saying, just saying what he felt at heart. Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted September 9, 2014 "I doubt anything will happen to my fiancé, however if something does I know you are an option...however..." Aya began, taking another drink from her tea. Her eyes then glared at Samael, looking straight at him. "You are a pedophile" she smirked.
Stardustblade358 806 Posted September 11, 2014 Samael blushed to himself as he heard lady Aya mention of him being a pedophile. "Oh well...I guess I am. Oh but you're so mean in calling me that. It makes me feel old~"Samael said as he sighed to himself and whimpered. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. A servant stood by the doorway as he bowed. "What's wrong?"Samael asked as he turned to his servant. "Someone is here to pick Lady Aya and her butler up. Someone by the name Giotto,I believe."The servant explained. Samael blinked and whimpered even more. "Giotto,is this your fiancee,Aya? His name is so much more fancier than mine."Samael seemed to complain. He had never met Aya's fiancee or even heard of his name,so he just went ahead and took a stab for a guess. He smiled a bit and looked up with his eyes gleaming as an idea sparked upon him. "I know! Stay over for the night! We can have a sleep over! You can invite your fiancee too! We can play games, read books, tell scary stories, explore the property at night! I still have my Noah's Ark toy,so we can play that too. Then we'd sneak into the kitchen and eat sweets before running off to bed."Samael suggested, his childish behavior once more showing. He gasped to himself and suddenly gave a bow. "Wha I'm so sorry you had to see that side of me! My servants do say I'm too childish for my age."Samael said with a whine as he looked up at Aya. "But really,do stay for a sleepover?"Samael asked with hope in his voice.
