Naruto: New Age Chronicles (RP with Firaga Sensei)

Posted

Team Yumi re-entered the Hidden Leaf Village as the sun began to set over the Hokage Monument. They had just finished a mission, and were on their way to report their success to the Hokage. Despite the time of day, various villagers were running, talking, playing, and laughing through the streets. A few ninja discussed their most recent mission, while vendors tried to sell goods to annoyed customers.

"Heh... I really missed being in the village!" Koukon grinned, happy to be back home.

"Yeah. We can finally rest." Hikari wasn't as enthusiastic as her friend, but still smiled. "I can't wait to go eat some ramen." She rubbed her stomach, having missed her favorite food.

"Of course, that's the first thing you think of. It's always ramen with you." Koukon teased Hikari. "I guess that going to Ichiraku wouldn't hurt, though..." He looked over at his teacher. "Yumi sensei, is it fine if we head off?"

"Yeah, I'll go check in with Lord Hokage. You three can go off and get something to eat." The woman smiled back at her students.

"Alright!" Koukon shouted, and looked over to his teammates. "Let's go, Hikari! Are you going to come with, Kiniku?" He asked his best friend, hoping that the three of them could go together.

"It's been a while since the three of us got to go to Ichiraku together, hasn't it?" Hikari asked. "You should come with us, Kiniku."

"A Land of Wind puppet creep, you say...?" Hikari asked. "I wouldn't drag Sabaku into this. Aside from being my pawn to get into the village, she's completely innocent. If you want me to tell you about my identity... I won't be telling you. I wouldn't try forcing it out of me, either. I'm the one who does the torture." She spoke sadistically. "Speaking of which... Hikari could use more training against torture, if she ever regains control again somehow. All it took was one little threat, and she instantly gave in."

Shinachiku / Kiniku

"Crap! She's got our hands tied!" Shinachiku cursed. "How are we gonna find out anything now?!"

Shinachiku looked to Kiniku for answers, but the young Matsuyo clansmen was deep in thought, staring at the ground. "K-Kiniku? What are ya thinking?" Shinachiku asked.

Kiniku then let out a small chuckle and looked up back at "Hikari". "So you think you're smart, huh? Using Hyugamaki's body as your own shield... well here's the thing, pal: I could care less," Kiniku said, driving his knee into "Hikari's gut.

Hikari's expression was a mix of pain and surprise when Kiniku suddenly attacked her. "Wh... What? You... Don't care...?" She asked Kiniku, looking like she was about to cry.

"Kiniku, what the heck are you doing?!" Koukon shouted, now confused by his friend's sudden attack. "You really don't care what happens to her?"

Shinachiku / Kiniku

"What the heck, Muscle Head!" Shinachiku cried in anger. "Have you lost your mind?!"

"Quite the opposite actually. I'm thinking a lot more clearer right now," Kiniku said, unfazed by his actions. He then threw Hikari's body onto the ground, pinning her by the arms. "You see, this punk thinks that taking over Hikari's body means we can't touch her... but the punk forgot one thing: my family's healing jutsu. You see, pal, I have something called Ninja Art: Muscle Reconstruction. It allows me to dig around a person's muscles and mend injuries. It's very efficient. It doesn't take up too much chakra either. So in summary: I can break every bone in your body if I wanted to... but then after, I can heal you and do it all over again. Catch my drift?"

"I... Guess I understand. I'm still not sure that I like this plan, though..." Koukon sighed.

"Didn't you listen to me earlier? I'm not giving in to torture. You won't get me that easily." Hikari warned Kiniku. "And if you somehow do manage to hurt me enough, I'll just release the jutsu on this girl, and she'll be the one you're hurting. I win either way." After this explanation, a sad look spread across her face. "I can't believe you'd be so willing to hurt your own teammate like this, Kiniku... Koukon understands that it isn't right."

Kiniku

"Sure, you can do that... but you need these to make a release sign!" Kiniku said, quickly grabbing Hikari's wrists and breaking them.

"Now talk! Or I'll start breaking more body parts!" Kiniku said, clearly annoyed by the puppet master's games.

Hikari shrieked in pain. "K-Kiniku, why did you do that?! I-I didn't do anything... I thought we were friends..." She began to sob. "One of you two, please, help me!"

Koukon fought the urge to go punch Kiniku. "Sh-she's faking it... Don't move, Shinachiku."

"Ugh... You're no fun." Hikari sighed. "Why don't you let go of me and let me have a fair fight? I feel like that would be much more fun."

Shinachiku / Kiniku

"Grr... r-right...." Shinachiku said, feeling as pent up as Koukon was at the moment.

"Quit messing around! You think I like the fact that I have to hurt my friend?! Spill it already!" Kiniku yelled.

  • Author

"I told you, you won't be getting anything out of me. It's too bad I'm better at resisting this than your friend is." Hikari taunted the three. "You should just give up now, and save yourself the trouble."

"M-maybe we should just let her go..." Koukon muttered. He hated this situation. He knew they couldn't let her get away, but at the same time, he didn't want to do anything to his friend.

Kiniku

"Give me one good reason why I should let you go. I have you cornered, dipwad!" Kiniku angrily mocked.

  • Author

"Because you're not making any progress. You could continue this all night, and you wouldn't have any information. All you'd be doing is hurting your own friend. Besides... There's no way you'd be able to get me to release the jutsu after this, anyway. You'd have to fight me in the end, no matter what outcome your interrogation has." Hikari smirked. "You might as well stop this now and get it over with."

Kiniku

"Tch..." Without thinking, Kiniku healed Hikari's wrists.

"You're a sick person, you know that?" Kiniku griped, his hold on Hikari loosening due to his emotions.

  • Author

"Heh... That's exactly what Hikari told me." Hikari smirked. "Now then... Let's play a little game. We'll have a fight. If you win, then I'll release the jutsu and you'll have your friend back. If I win... You'll all die." She walked over to Koukon. "Well... Maybe not him. He's been so nice to me..." She hugged him again.

"I-I, um..." Koukon fought an urge to react in the way he normally would in this situation. This is the enemy... I can't fall for her tricks. "You think I'd want to be spared by the same person who's decided to go and use my friend to do all sorts of horrible things, and who's behind the deaths of innocent people? Ha, yeah right. I'm not that easy to convince." He said, pushing Hikari off of him.

"Hm... Fine. It's strange, you seemed so interested when I used Sabaku to get in the village... I guess that I was out of luck with this one." Hikari said. "Now then... Let's start, shall we?" She activated her Byakugan, and instantly targeted Shinachiku, preparing to use her Gentle Fist technique.

Shinachiku / Kiniku

Shinachiku tensed up as "Hikari" come dashing towards him.

"Hey squirt, look sharp!" Kiniku cried.

"B-but what about all that stuff about Hikari?!"

"Forget it, she's too far gone! Don't worry, we'll fix her up, but for right now, kick her butt!" Kiniku cried.

Shinachiku gulped, but nodded. I don't like that much anyway. He joked, meeting Hikari dead on.

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" He cried, him and his clones attack together.

Hikari smirked. "Finally, you're ready to have some fun." She began to pound the clones with her palms, and dismissed the ones that were in her way. She reached Shinachiku quickly, and hit him twice with her palms, both aimed at his chakra points. "It's a shame that I'll need to end this quickly, though..."

Shinachiku

The young Uzumaki staggered back at Hikari's blows, but kept his stance and smirked.

"I'm the one who should be sayin' that," he said, another Shadow Clone popping up from the ground and grabbing onto Hikari's ankles, holding her in place.

Shinachiku then charged up a Rasengan and drove it into Hikari, hurling her straight back.

Hikari crashed into a tree as she was knocked back, but managed to recover quickly. "Ugh... Not bad, kid. It's not going to be enough to defeat me, though." She began to sprint back towards Shinachiku, but quickly turned and tried to surprise Kiniku with an attack. She quickly aimed a punch at his face, hoping that would distract him long enough to let her make a more serious attack.

Kiniku

"Whoa!" Kinku dodged Hikari's strike by side-stepping, and seeing an opening drove his fist into Hikari's stomach.

Hikari was stunned for a second, but quickly managed to hit Kiniku with a counter-attack, aiming her Gentle Fist technique at his chakra points once again. "Your attacks are good, but you're forgetting something very important... I really don't care what sort of damage you do to this body. I also know you'd never be willing to kill her." She smirked as she continued pounding at Kiniku's chakra points, trying to hinder his ability to fight back.

Kiniku

"Then I guess I just gotta knock you out!" Kiniku said, bearing the tenseness of having some his chakra points attacked. He managed to stop Hikari's hands by grabbing her by the wrists. He then reared his head back, and smacked his forehead into Hikari's, trying to daze her.

Hikari was dazed for a second, but quickly shook her head. "Ugh... That hurt." She sighed, then bit down on Kiniku's hand, and managed to escape from his grasp. After doing this, she glared at Kiniku. "I think I'll finish you off now." She pulled out a kunai, and held it at his throat. However, just before she could attack, she felt something hit her back. She turned, and saw Koukon gripping a rock.

Koukon's knees were shaking, but he managed to keep a serious look. "H-hey... If he's boring you, why not try me next instead?" He stuttered, trying to protect Kiniku and stall the battle for a moment.

"Hm...?" Hikari studied Koukon intently. "I was beginning to hope you might have been a good... ally, Koukon. I'm disappointed to see that you don't seem to be interested..." Her eyes narrowed. "You'll just have to die like the rest!" She shouted, and instantly sprinted towards him. She still gripped her kunai, and was prepared to thrust it into his chest.

Koukon attempted to prepare himself for a counter, but wasn't able to. I... can't do anything to her... He shut his eyes. Is... this the end? Within a few seconds, he felt a sharp pain, although it was in his shoulder. He opened his eyes, confused.

"Huh?" Hikari looked frustrated. "That wasn't supposed to happen..."

Koukon decided to take the opening to make a quick attack. "Sorry, Hikari." He whispered as he used his free arm to punch her in the stomach. She backed up a bit, and pulled the kunai from his arm.

Hikari growled. "I guess I'll have to go for the other two for now..." She kicked Koukon back, and stared at her other two opponents. "Which one of you two should I finish off first...?"

Kiniku / Shinachiku

"Agh!" Kiniku said after his hand was bitten, blowing on it while Koukon fought Hikari.

"How about both of us? Shinachiku, give me a hand!" Kiniku cried.

"Sure!" Shinachiku said, now un-afraid to fight his sister.

The two attacked as a unit, appearing in front of her with a flurry of strikes.

Hikari managed to block or dodge most of their strikes, although a few managed to deal a bit of damage to her. "Why don't you try coordinating your attacks a little better? This is nothing." She smirked. "Eight Trigrams: Palm Rotation!" She quickly spun, and knocked her two opponents away. "And now... Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Four clones of Hikari all appeared around her, and all four began to counter Kiniku and Shinachiku's attacks with their own barrage of hits. The real Hikari stood in the back, watching the fight.

Kiniku / Shinachiku

"These clones are tougher than they look!" Kiniku said aloud to Shinachiku as they fought.

"No kidding! What do we do?" Shinachiku said.

"I say we use her power against her!" Kiniku said.

"Oh, I know what you mean!" Shinachiku said.

With that, the two boys beat back the clones and let two of them live. For the moment. They then grabbed them by the backs and jumped up into the air.

"Incoming!!" They shouted, throwing the clones into the real Hikari as they used the distraction to disappear from sight.

Both Kiniku and Shinachiku made sure to hide their breathing and keep their bodies still as Kiniku hid in the trees while Shinachiku hid in the nearby bushes.

Hikari was surprised by the boys' odd attack, and was unable to dodge in time. Both clones hit her, knocking her over. "Ugh..." She pulled herself back up. "I guess I'll have to do this myself, then..." She sighed, and was about to go find the two, but she was suddenly kicked from behind, knocking her over again. "Who did that...?" She growled, and jumped up again, only to see Koukon in front of her.

"Sorry, Hikari." Koukon muttered, and punched her in the face. "You're forgetting it's three against one." He tried to act brave, but it was clear that he didn't want to fight her at all. He was slightly shaking, fearing the potential outcome of this battle.

"Heh... you're barely able to fight, though. You're not much of a problem." Hikari quickly jumped back, and summoned three more Shadow Clones. "I'd rather fight these two, anyway... We can have our fun later, Koukon." She smirked, and had one clone tackle Koukon and keep him from moving. She activated her Byakugan to spot Kiniku and Shinachiku, and began to prepare an attack. A bright blue ball of chakra formed in her hand, and she sprinted towards Shinachiku, hitting him directly in the stomach. "Rasengan!" She screamed as she did so. "That's payback for that Rasengan from before..." She smirked. One of her clones began to charge towards Kiniku, with another Rasengan in hand.
