Blinded by Light

 

So a majority of fans seem to be stoked about Final Fantasy XV what with Episode Duscae and the newest trailer, myself included

 

However, let's look at the facts: for about 8 years Square has been stringing us along in regard to this game with nothing but teasers and trailers

 

Now all of a sudden we have a demo, and people think that means the game is going to release soon- but this game thrived on trailers alone for over 7 years

 

With a playable demo Square could easily buy themselves an additional 10 years to make us patient fans wait

 

All of this would be true if Nomura were still directing it

Square Enix doesn't have another 10 years. The franchise's continued success and investment from their fans is riding on XV and to a lesser extent KHIII. They don't have time for dilly dally shilly shally.
