So now Assassin's Creed Unity have time travel implemented... Assassins from the past coming to the modern-day world and using modern-day guns & weapons... Ok then...

    Not modern day, that's World War 2

    Not quite sure it's time travel either, but that remains to be seen

    it could jsut be a simulation glitch, like the trailer seems to imply, or it could be that Arno's pocketwatch thing is actually an artifact that allows time travel
