More like what I predict the next games will have.
It would be Kalos with you visiting Hoenn after you finish the game. Something like GSC/HGSS. Now why would I say such a thing? There was been very few hints throughout ORAS, but one of them is when you:
Visit the Battle Resort. At first all I could say is "GF, you lazy as firetruck, you litterally just c+p the Battle Maison with the surroundings being different." (The sign even says it's a replica of the original back in Kalos.) But then you look behind it, you see none other than the Battle Tower... model. Reading the sign, it says "Battle Frontier project... starting off with the Battle Tower." My hope that died off of reliving the Battle Frontier came back upon reading that, even if just a little. This hints at it's still possible. Now people would say Delta Emerald confirmed, but Delta episode tho. There's not much reason for GF to do this when ORAS feels like also a Emerald remake, except the story about Rayquaza expanded. That's where my prediction comes in about the next game (X2Y2/Z/whatever) might have. I wish I can remember the other hints I had that supports that the next game would have you visit Hoenn, but the model+sign mention Battle Frontier was the biggest hint of all.
Visiting Hoenn after the events of ORAS is not likely the case in the next game, so my second guess would be future DLC for ORAS? It might be pointless since the Battle Maison with the competitive items exist, but you never know.
My third and probably most likely to happen-guess is the Battle Frontier will be in Kalos in the next game. It wouldn't make sense, but seeing GF add a "replica" of the Battle Maison, it wouldn't surprise me the Battle Frontier with a sign saying "replica of the original back in Hoenn." >_>
Or it's just to give nostalgia to those who played Emerald, and nothing will come out of it... brb going to punch whoever was the lazy firetruck.
