why is ea sports big gone

Seriously, why did EA disband them? Their games were universally loved it seemed. Between SSX and all those "Street" sports games, not to mention the original Def Jam Vendetta.

 

It also seemed as if all the current gen titles were not nearly as good as their games from the PS2 era. Look at the SSX reboot, or NFL Tour. Even NBA Street Homecourt or FIFA Street 3(and 4)didn't seem to garner much attention...

    Because EA is concerned with making money, but not with making good games. You can see where that'd take issue, financially.
