Long story short: There's a new DragonBall Z movie coming out called "Resurrection 'F', also known as "Fukkatsu no 'F'" and "Revival of 'F'", Frieza is being resurrected, likely getting a power up, Goku and Vegeta have new outfits, Lord Beerus and Whis are back, blah blah blah blah blah, you get the gist.

 

A couple of (translated) scans from Saikyou Jump have come out, revealing a few new bits of info on the movie, including the origin of Frieza's newly introduced henchmen, Sorbet and Tagoma, as well as information on Goku, Gohan, Piccolo and more!

The passage they translated takes place near the end of the trailer and reads:

The most interesting thing to take from this is, of course, the notion that Frieza offering Vegeta to join his side.

 

Personally, I do not see this happening under normal circumstances because Vegeta accepting would make him evil-hearted and he wouldn't be qualified to become a Super Saiyan God anymore and also because the very idea of two people like Vegeta and Frieza coming together is farfetched at best.

 

Now I said "normal circumstances" because there will obviously be more details on in the movie so it wouldn't be right to really judge the decision as a whole before they are even revealed to us. Still, as it stands, I find it unlikely.

FUNimation has announced that they will be airing "Fukkatsu no F" in Japanese with English subtitles on April 21, 2015 for English audiences at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, a week before it premieres in Japan. Limited time tickets are already on sale now. They also confirmed that an English dub release of the movie will take place later this year in Summer 2015.

Seems I'm the one of the few on the interbutts that think Frieza's new form fits.

 

his past form was called FINAL form for a reason, this is his form from training and becoming on the level of Goku..basically its not a real 'transformation' but is more like a power up. People I've talked to are butthurt cause he didn't change his appearance that much. I look at 'gold frieza' as his SSJG power up.

Two new trailers came out for the movie.

 

The first (fourth overall) is some kind of ad for an entertainment system:

A recent video for the Japanese arcade game DragonBall Heroes released, teasing that Goku (in his attire from Resurrection "F") will possibly receive a new transformation which will be added to the game as DLC.

There is no word about what this form is, but many have speculated that it's connected to the movie and will be a form that Goku will use in the movie as well.

If Goku's getting the same exact form, then we know that he'll be the one saving the day, and not Vegeta. That's how it always is with the series. If Vegeta's not getting his own thing, it's obvious he won't be doing anything big.

Again, there's plenty of evidence to show that Vegeta's going to end up in the same position he had back in Battle of Gods: He might get one battle with Frieza that starts out well, then gets tossed to the side and Goku has to save him. As usual.

So? That was probably taken when Beerus woke up during Vegeta and Goku's training and he started freaking out.

 

If Vegeta isn't getting a spotlight, then why was he teased to become a Super Saiyan God in BoG? Why is he training with Whis alongside Goku? Why is his power rising alongside Goku, with both of them receiving the same treatment in improving their power as told by Whis? Why is Frieza offering Vegeta to join him at his side, despite their history, and why are the implications of that scene building up to some kind of dramatic moment in the movie? Why is Vegeta even in this movie is he's "not getting the spotlight"? Vegeta is the second most important main character in the series besides Goku. Period.
