The Adventures of Morgan and Morgan (RP with Riki)

Posted

(I don't even know if this RP will be serious or not but oh well)

Morgan woke up in a strange forest, her head pounding. She slowly got up so that she was sitting, and held her head. "What happened...?" She asked, studying her surroundings. "I was at the Outrealm Gate, and now... I'm here?" She stood, and tried to get a closer look at her surroundings. Her Pegasus was close to her, and it seemed to be fine. That was good. Now she just needed to figure out where the heck she was, and hope that she wouldn't run into any enemy forces. She walked over to her pegasus, which stood happily at the sight of it's master. "You don't happen to know where we are... Do you?" She asked, and the pegasus seemed to shake it's head in response. Morgan sighed. "I guess we'll have to scout around, then... Let's walk, I don't want to make you fly around when you're already worn out." She smiled at the winged horse, then the two set off to find any sign of where they'd ended up.

Morgan, her head spinning, stood up, barely able to make sense of it all. Just recently, her father had came to her. "Morgan, there's trouble. Crom and I need to investigate. I would hate to drag you into this, being that you are my daughter, after all... But we need help. Some of our troops are having this world's versions of you kids... They can't afford to leave for a war, not now. Although, it Sully did try to... I wonder who on earth she married... To think of that, what happened to Kelleam? Ah, never mind. Anyhow, I need your help in this. Monsters are coming through the Outerealm Gate to the south of Yilliese. Will you join your dad for another fight?"

"Of course, how could we tip the scales with only one great strategist!"

"Ow..." She muttered, she felt like a cart full of carrots had ran her down. Checking her person, she found the special sword that her father had given her. "In one of the stories of the Outerealm, a princess by the name of Erica held this rapure in tandem with her brother's spear. The two were considered unstoppable in their world if they were found together in a fight. They died a long time ago, but a greedy man came through their Gate and stole away with it to this world, or so the tail goes."

She felt around some more, and she found her Killing Edge. A very good weapon to have on her as well. Finally, she found a tome, titled "Naga's Breath" on her. That's right! They had found the lost tome, and as her father already had multiple tomes of very powerful magic, he felt she should have that one. Then finally, an elixir and a Vulneray. "Good, at least I still have everything..." She downed a sip of the Vulneray quickly, it aided her headache and dizziness a bit. She heard the sound of hoofs. "Could that be Sumia..? No, she was having Cynthia... Crom told her to stay... Hm... Maybe Fredric? Or Cordeila..? No, Fredrick was sick on the day of set-out, and Cordelia hasn't set a foot on a horse of Pegasus since her's past... It could be monsters..." She drew her Killing edge. If whatever was walking came at her, she was ready for a fight.

Morgan walked out into a clearing... Only to find a girl that looked exactly like her, aside from the hair color and clothes. "Who... Are you?" She asked, slightly raising her lance, which she'd found close nearby. "And... Why do you look like me?" This could be like how my father found someone that looked just like him... He told me that that man attacked him shortly after. I should be careful.

"...Hold up, say what?" Morgan shielded her eyes from the sun. "Oh for Naga's sake..." Morgan lowered her sword and walked over, and simply poked the horse. "...Well, I'm at least not hallucinating this fellow..." She looked over at the other Morgan, pinching and pulling her cheek. "So I'm not severely dehydrated and hallucinating that a weird looking version of me walked up with a Pegasus. At least there is that going for me."

Morgan didn't really enjoy having her face messed with by her lookalike. She pushed the other girl's hand out of the way. "Don't do that!" She spoke angrily. "And... Who are you, anyway?" She asked again, still curious.

"Well, I can only assume what I know. What I know is that you have skin very much like mine and your Pegasus' feather texture reminds me of Sumia's Pegasus, thus I can assume that you are some odd form of me who has a very close relation with Sumia." Morgan began. "In the Outerealm Gate, anything can occur, such as meeting another version of yourself from a parallel reality, so in theory, we are the same person but with different timelines and histories, and judging by your hair color..." She looked at the near mirror match of herself. "Obviously different linage in terms of parents can occur as well. Knowing this, I can assume your world's mother is either Sumia or someone very close to her like Cordelia. Which is odd considering that if we are a very similar version of ourselves, we would need a similar parent. However, my father wouldn't have allowed me to slack on my training as an strategist to be a Pegasus Knight..." Morgan walked a bit away, and began to pace.

"You couldn't have my father's blood, he is blue haired, and my mother is blond like me, so we must share different parents, yet..." She continued to pace very quickly. "That wouldn't make sense. genetically it wouldn't..." She grumbled for a moment. 'If dad were here he could have already pieced it all together..."

She began to ramble as she paced, thinking out every step to the equation. However it seemed beyond her, she fell to the ground, confused by this whole scenario.

Morgan was about to respond, when the other version of her suddenly collapsed. "Whoa!" She ran over to... herself, and helped her back up. "Let's try to find our fathers before we think this through... I don't think the two of us can figure it all out." She said. "And, by the way... Yes, my mother is Sumia. And my father didn't slack in my training at all. I wanted to be a pegasus knight, just like my mother. I know how to use tomes, as well." She told the other her, and showed her an Elthunder tome. "I can't seem to find my others, though..." She sighed.

"My father wanted me to be able to soundly defeat him in a game of strategy before he will concede that I've finished my training as a strategist. Although I don't mind it, myself. I always wanted to follow in father's footsteps." Morgan rubbed her temples, trying to soothe the horrible headache she had. "Your mother is Sumia... how odd... In my world, she is married to Crom..." She muttered, now terribly confused. "Anyway, we probably should find a safe place to camp for the night. It will be safer to stay in a similar place as to where we were before in case the situation ended up being that we both just got lost as we traveled, and thus it would be more likely for the larger parties to be looking for us to find us than for a small party to be searching for two parties of people. Plus it's going to start getting dark."

"Yeah... That plan works." Morgan agreed. "By the way... Uh... What do we call each other, anyway? We're both the same person... Would I say 'I' instead of 'you?'" She asked, still confused. She turned to try to find something to sleep on, but quickly tripped on her own feet trying to move around. She quickly stood back up, and laughed nervously. "Uh... sorry. That's a bad habit of mine."

"Well, for all intensive purposes, we just use the same dialect as usual. If we change it now, we may be stuck like that a while. You, me, I, she, since there isn't more than the two of us, it won't be too confusing since we are two different people."

"Hm... Okay. That works." Morgan nodded. "With that settled... Let's find a good spot to set up camp. Something to eat would be nice, too..." She sighed.

"You sound like Sthal." Morgan scratched her head. "During my brief time being a Assassin, in order to best understand their position on the battlefield, I learned archery. And there's probably enough string on me to make a bow with a few sticks. I'll see what I can do, set up a fire" Morgan said, turning away and walking into the woods.

"Alright." Morgan responded. I'm... Like Stahl? I'm not even related to him, though... She sighed, and began to gather wood to get a fire started. "I hope she can get food soon..." She said, becoming more hungry.

Cries of elk, birds, and then what sounded like death itself filled the air. Loud, near-constant, and almost agonizing sound, like a beast twice the size of a lion were hunting them. It was truly terrifying. At least, until, Morgan walked out of the forest, boars, birds, rabbits, and more. All strung behind her on some small vine rope. "It's not much but this should tide us over." Morgan grabbed some sticks, planting them into the ground near the fire, she did her best to put a boar on a stick, and carried it on top of the two stick she placed earlier. A pig on a spit. A few rabbits were next, she skinned them quickly and put them to roast near the fire. "I didn't know if you had the same exact tastes as I do, and in Case you had the opposite, I gathered some birds as well." Morgan removed their feathers and then the outer skin, placed I on a stick and put it to the fire as well.(If you're wondering, my Morgan has a lot of strength Stat put in.)

Morgan had just finished starting the fire by the time that... Morgan #2 had arrived with food. She jumped up, surprised by how much food the other her had brought. "I could eat any of this, to be honest." She said, ready to start eating.

"Just like Sthal..." Morgan sighed. "The rabbit will be ready fordt, and probably is ready by now. Go ahead and dig in."

"Alright!" Morgan took the rabbit off the fire, and quickly began eating. She eventually stopped chewing long enough to ask the other Morgan a question. "So, if you don't mind me asking... What's your world like? Considering that you have a different mother than me, there must be some other major differences..." She asked curiously.

"Well, as far as I know, you likely killed the Fell Dragon, Grimia, after Validar resurrected him with an alternative version of your father, and I guess Validar would then also be your grandpa in that case as well." Morgan answered. "And if so, none of the other major events would have changed either, would they have?" She added. "So therefore, the major difference between the two worlds is likely the relationship between the others, whom you have on your side, ect."

"Yeah, that did happen." Morgan nodded. "I'm still kind of curious about your world, though... Like, who was your mother? Do you have any siblings? You know, just those types of things..." She explained.

"Ah! My mother is Crom's sister, Lissa. My brother is named Owain." Morgan replied, still mildly creeped out about this whole situation. It couldn't get worse, could it?

"... O-Owain is your brother?!" Morgan jumped back a bit, surprised to hear that. I'm... Not sure how I'll break this to her. "U-uh... Owain's in my world, too..." She said. "And... He's kind of my husband." She muttered quickly, hoping the other Morgan wouldn't really catch that bit as easily.

Morgan's hair literally had a single strand poke into the air as her eye twitched. "M-m-married to..." her mind flashed back to everything Owain has done in just the past month alone: named fifty-five diffrent iron swords, make eh or rile pancakes for breakfast, smashed a tree to bits, accidentally used Fathers royal tome as wiping paper, and just other goof-ups. She remembers him as a younger boy digging up worms with his shovel "Irradiated Soildhand" and accidentally digging up a ant hill. All the gross things he did and all the weird things he did in the past flooded her eyes as they simply twitched. "...O-Owain. .." She fell unconscious, completely and utterly unconscious.

"M-Morgan?" Morgan asked her companion, moving quickly to keep her from falling and hitting her head too hard. She set her back down, feeling bad for including that information. I should have just left it at the fact that Owain's in my universe, too... She sighed, then continued eating until she eventually decided to fall asleep.

The day past, Morgan was still unconscious, and the other Morgan just sat there board all day. Another day past, and Morgan finally woke up. "No! Not father's Tome! He has a meeting with Crom today! No! He's gonna kill use Owain, you idiot!" She screamed, coming back to the land of the living. "How long was I out?

Morgan jumped again when the other Morgan suddenly woke up and began screaming. "Um... You were out for that entire night, and all of yesterday." She answered. "And... What did Owain do?" She asked, looking curious.

"Father left his Royal Tome too close to the chamberpot, and Owain just grabbed the first thing he saw. You can imagine what happens next." Morgan said, shuddering. "A-anyhow... has all been quiet?"
